I am ashamed to tell you all here that I have the same circular green vase with the fake dried grass flowers that Stephanie does in my home. It's Amazon so Days and I have the same budget.😂 Anyhow, I thought EJ/Gabi was a bit of a surprise. I mean, it makes sense when I think about it, but I wasn't expecting it. Why is this Connie story dragging on? Why is she telling Melinda about all her crimes? Why doesn't she just kill Melinda and leave town? It's also strange Stephanie has to organize Bobby/Everett's funeral. Are his parents dead? Did he have no friends in Seattle? No coworkers?

Google tells me she was on the first season. You may have watched, but don't recognize her now lol.

I never watched Starting Over, but when I looked Andy up there are pictures of her looking much different/better. She seems to have gone overboard with the face work. It appears she's pretty successful with her styling business. I would never get style advice from her though lol.

Fair enough. I can understand how satisfying seeing someone try to take down Sonny can be. I just wish Jagger could just be an upstanding lawman instead of having to be shady doing everything he's doing.

The thing is Jagger's not going hard on Sonny. He's going hard in on Kristina. I don't think Kristina is a wilting flower and I don't think Jagger is wrong for wanting to bring Sonny down. I am admittedly still a Sonny fan, but I wish Jagger would just go about getting Sonny arrested in the proper way.

Gosh, I just want to punch Jagger in his stupid, smug face. He has valid points to hate Sonny but ugh........so unlikeable.

Today's show made it pretty clear. Chad/Abby are temporarily staying at the mansion and the kids are at the Horton house. Chad explained why he wasn't around all the time to Thomas.

It's a bit unclear, but I am pretty sure the kids are still living at the Horton house while Chad/Abby are temporarily staying at the mansion. I don't think Chad wants to live in mansion forever and the end goal is for them all to live back at the Hortons.

Lol. Poor Baby Victoria. Having to listen to all that nonsense. I honestly like Fiona. Or am at least interested in her. I know she will probably be gone in a flash so Leo can have more scenes, but I want to know more about her. Her past, her marriage, her affair with Victor, how she raised Xander, etc.

I love when everyone on the show acts smart lol. It's rare. Xander trying to choke Brady at the Police Station was dumb, but the consideration of moving everyone to the Kiriakis mansion did make sense so I'll allow it. I liked how John basically figured everything out with Brady quickly. I also like the subtle nuance Marlena played and how she suspected something was off with Brady, but John wasn't around and it's not her son by blood and was a bit unsure how to act. I feel like it's going to be hard to convict Brady because there is no car and he doesn't remember. He just thinks he did it. I obviously know Fiona will eventually get caught, but it's working out great for her so far lol.

Was there a writing change back then? You are much better at knowing this than I am. They killed off Dev, Dustin, and canned Lulu at the same time and it just felt like a shift. Because they invested so much in Dev and then he just died.

It was that weird Ron period where he thought he'd try to make the Cheetwood brothers a thing lol. I remember him being a teacher and Lulu thinking he was a criminal or something? But he was just a decent guy. Stupid I don't mind Lulu being a journalist tbh. I never felt Lulu had the passion that Maxie did for fashion/cosmetics. Since she was working at a magazine it's not the worst pivot for her to go into investigative journalism. It's not like Sasha, the supermodel, randomly becoming a cook.

I just remember there were lots of scenes of them working out? It was so silly. I barely remember him. Like I said, I get him and Josh Kelly confused. They are sort of the same person to me lol Both characters have at least 1 too many children. It's fine they want to be mothers, but they were both so young and had time to do other things. Both immediately shifted to marriage and babies in their early 20's and that's not very realistic these days.

Some of the stories Rylan got saddled with were awful. Her waking up from being frozen by Stavros and liking Milo. WTF? The random ways her children were conceived and carried by other people. Dante's affair. DZ leaving. A romance with a D player named Dustin. I am not saying Emme was the perfect fit, but she got some terrible material. It was like both Lulu and Maxie stop having any fun after they both had kids.

Smarmy is a great way to describe him! I liked Ric when he was first introduced and early Liz/Ric believe it or not. I agree the show didn't really know what to do with him. Ric would do horrible things, but then there would be periods where he was a decent guy, and eventually go back to doing horrible things again lol. I have never been sure what to make of the character. So far he's been great with Molly and it's nice to see one of her parents so firmly in her corner. I am not terribly enthused about Gatschet either. I am not super familiar with her work, but the bits and pieces I have seen don't inspire me. I still don't think the show has ever gotten adult Lulu exactly right. JMB was smug 90% of her run and had no chemistry with any of her costars until DZ. I started liking Lulu once that pairing started and she stopped being Carly Jr. I thought Rylan's Lulu was fine, nothing special. A bit of a strange choice after Berman. She was mostly marginalized by the end. I actually am surprised they didn't kill Ric off years ago too. He just usually quietly leaves town instead lol.

It's a shame because I think Hearst is a great actor, but Ric is so disgustingly slimy. I am okay with scenes one on one with him because he can shine with the right costar, but when Carly says something like it was horrible the one time you chained to a wall for months. I am back at, yup, still hate him lol.

I thought Lulu's abortion story was well done. JMB can do good work. Her smugness level is off the chain though. They gave her so many love interests and she really only sparked with DZ. And then it got weird where Lulu's entire life revolved around Dante. And then the endless oddly conceived children! I don't think any regime/writer/etc ever has gotten Lulu, but there is a lot of room for change/growth for her.

Okay. Fair. Fiona Hutchinson. So Dex will absolutely be written off because he doesn't immediately accept Mommy Dex's new behavior and outlook. She will then become the new sous chef at the Q's to help Sasha and also a Deception spokesmodel.😂 But...no $$$ for Kelly Monaco here.🤷‍♀️

I had the same thought. Knowing this regime it will be a big name soap star (let's say Gina Tognoni for @Liberty City's sake lol) and she'll be some crazy Mormon sister wife. She will then meet Sonny and Jason and change her ways immediately. 😂

I am 99.9% sure Marlena mentioned a brother when she was first introduced. She also told Mickey in the sanitarium she was not a natural blonde. I at least thought Holly felt some remorse. Which is probably the most selfless she's been her entire run lol.

Farah used to wear a ton of shiny lip gloss back in the day. I am team #Deidre on this lol

I think Adam Huss is pretty good. He's not Tyler and he never will be. That is the ultimate portrayal of Nik even if we have to discount the years Tyler was phoning it in. I don't think we really have enough data to say AH is right or wrong. He's always been a temp so it's hard to judge how much material he can take on. A minor note-Joss was pre-med and didn't know her kidney transplant would exclude her from being able to donate to Lulu? Even I know that.
