I am days behind on this show, but the pics of Gio's dopey reaction is making me want to watch yesterday's episode. Did anything happen the last 7 days? I'll probably just skip ahead.

I still can't believe they just killed him off mid episode like that lol. And Jada and Stephanie spent half the episode watching him die. The casualness and lack of concern Marlena has had about John missing until today is so OOC. John and Marlena are practically obsessed with one another and she hasn't done anything except send Steve to find him. John has been gone for about 4 months lol. Also, shouldn't Marlena get in trouble regarding Bobby/Everett? Everyone thinks he committed suicide and she was the one who released him from Bayview. That's a pretty big screw up on her part.

I generally think Abigail Klein is good as Stephanie, but she was awful today lol. The hysterical crying? Eek. I don't know if it was the way the episode was structured or what, but Jada and Stephanie basically did a whole lot of nothing for an extended period of time and just let Bobby/Everett die lol. Is BB out? I seriously wasn't expecting him to die since I don't read spoilers. And then they just rolled him out in a body bag. I don't know why Ava/Kristen/everyone is so mean to Connie. We know she's a psycho, but in general she is just being pleasant to people and they treat her with such disdain. Sure, she's not as beautiful as Tamara Braun, but people are treating her like some bridge troll or something lol.

Jagger is making up his own narrative whether out of guilt or just being annoying. It's just not what happened. But...he'd probably find a way for Brenda to be written for so..Winning? 😂

It's not just possible. It's what actually happened lol. I don't if Karen was "cool" with Sonny, but she forgave him, was onboard with the Sonny/Brenda wedding, and moved on with her life. Sonny being a bad guy doesn't mean Jagger is right. Karen is the human victim that gets to judge that and give her feelings about it. Jagger can have his own thoughts but his actions belie any solid points he may have. Wagger waxing poetically on about Sonny being the worst is hollow because he has no leg to stand on IMO. Like if they are going to go full in on Sonny Jagger should at least bring up Sonny's treatment of Brenda which is more relevant than something that happened in 1993.

Perhaps? I am going off what happened on screen and Karen was okay with it. She really seemed to put her past behind her. Sonny was awful to her, but she rebuilt her life and wasn't dwelling on it. She and Sonny were never going to be bff or anything. Jagger cheating on her was probably a bigger betrayal than anything Sonny did. Just saying..

Yes about Jagger. Karen was a full grown woman who became a successful Dr. Entirely without Jagger's help. I don't even love to defend Sonny, but Karen had moved on with her life long before. Jagger is acting like Karen was troubled by this for years. She wasn't. She was much stronger than that. I can see Karen eyerolling this behavior from the grave. Move on Jagger~ There is a scene not much after where Sonny and JH's Karen make peace. That's literally not how Sonny/Karen ended things. I am sure it's on youtube. There are also scenes with Brenda at the Nurse's Ball in 1997 where they both discuss Sonny, Stone, Jagger et all. Karen was more than fine and well adjusted.

Yes, Sonny did this. Yes, Sonny is awful. This did happen 30 years ago and Jagger is not the victim. Karen was. And she forgave Sonny for better or worse. I don't need a 50 year old guy crying injustice about something that DID. NOT. HAPPEN. TO. HIM. He cheated on Karen and was divorced from her years before she died. A lot of things are all Sonny's fault. This isn't one of them. Jagger's issues are nonsense. How would anyone side with him? Sonny sucks, but like where were you JAGGER when your brother was dying? Sonny paid for Stone's everything, no expense spared. So, yeah, Sonny might milk that a bit, but Jagger could have shown up and spent time with his own brother or not cheated on Karen instead of complaining about it decades later.

I heard him say that too and I was wondering if I missed something or wasn't paying attention lol. NuGabi really channels CB's energy. She does a good job. I still miss Camila, but the recast is good. Do we know if EOB is out? She very well could return as Gwen. They keep talking about her.

It makes me mad because the show took something cool-ie DH having a twin and made it a joke. It's not even Ron's fault, but there are enough Marlena clones in the world to satisfy Don, Roman, John, and Stefano at this point. It's a shame because I think EOB did her very best. She just had everything stacked against her.

I could write an essay on how I CAN'T stand Hattie. She was only interesting when she was first introduced 25 years ago. Now it's just a gimmick. Is Charlamagne a Marlena clone? Why does Marlena have a twin and several lookalikes?

Deidre Hall playing Hattie is one of my least favorite things Deidre Hall does. I hate that the show wastes her guarantees on this nonsense.

I have always thought EOB was a good actress. She was just given two horrible characters to play. Theresa is a decent character, but between the wig and the awful writing, EOB did the best she could.

I don't think writing Ari/Nicole out was easy per say, but that was a good conclusion. It's "easy" to give her a happy ending with Eric, but there is years left of story to play.

I think that was a very good send off for Eric/Nicole. Years of story wasted, but they can come back. I thought the exit was nice @AbcNbc247 It's going to be more awkward when Kayla and Marlena agree to be on the soap because....that's probably going to happen lol

I think the most common theory was that WR was burning the candle at both ends with the two shows. To me at the time it was very clear Wendy was putting more time into PC at the expense of the main show. GH was fairly messy her last few years in charge, although fantastic compared to today. PC was pretty much DOA and I think GH was suffering ratings rise and creatively so I can understand the need to let her go or at least demote her to just one show. To be fair, though, GH lost a lot of young talent from 1998-2000 and the show didn't do a very good job bringing in 'replacements' for those characters. GH had moved past the grounded 90's Labine heyday and was moving into the more modern Y2K era and I think the show really needed someone who could give 100% attention. I am really not sure why anyone though Wendy helming both shows would work to be honest.

Even with little joint time spent on canvas, Brenda and Carly have probably had at least 3 screaming fights and one physical fight in the lobby lol.

HP was decent, but she always came off young and slightly immature as Molly. This would never have been a story I would have written for HP's Molly, which was the intention, or really Molly in general lol.

I tend to think Molly overreacts to everything having to do with this baby, but I do think Kristina was in the wrong for going on (National, Cable, Public Access, Youtube?) TV without giving TJ/Molly a heads up. If Blaze is such a big deal the press will be hounding her and Kristina about this baby, who it belongs to, the pregnancy, the birth, the surrogacy, etc. It wasn't Kristina's decision to make. But, again, I really could care less about the story and Molly always knew who Kristina was and could have chilled for 5 mins and found a suitable surrogate.
