Any Taylor return past her 2002 death and burial... didn't work IMO. I love Hunter Tylo, but at some point the character was better off dead. We even saw her as a ghost several times. It was ghoulish and bizarre and the fact that Bradley decided to completely ruin her and make her a shell of her former self didn't help. Taylor became even more chaotic and messy than Brooke at some point... She was a counter-point to Brooke and should have stayed like this. We didn't need to see her drunk-drive-killing Darla and then getting it on with her daughter's boyfriend Rick. It was too Brooke-esque. Didn't work. There was deterioration in the acting department too. Hunter Tylo's face was too frozen for her to emote, so she would constantly scream, raise her voice or shake her head like a maniac, which didn't suit the previously elegant and more... nuanced Taylor. She became a cartoon. After that with the new actresses, as much as I adore Krista Allen... Bradley still gave rinse and repeat of old stuff from the Hunter days... and now Rebecca is getting the same storyline too. Beat by beat. 1 - Brooke does something to disappoint Ridge. 2 - He leaves her. 3 - He gets engaged to Taylor. 4 - Last minute realizes he can't live without Brooke. We've seen this played out more times than I can count. It's the most dead storyline in the show.

Another masterpiece that comes to mind. The "Mansion of the Damned" - Nola Madison Reign of Terror - storyline on Edge of night. PURE PERFECTION. This is what really hooked me into binging classic soaps on youtube. The Edge of Night, Episode # 6145 - November 29, 1979.mp4

IMO this absurd animosity between Thomas and Brooke... is a facade that hides extreme sexual tension. If we go back in time... Thomas used to stalk Brooke and kiss her while she was asleep. He was such a hardcore perv and Thank God they didn't go there back in the day. But there is no way we can ignore the years where Thomas was obsessed with her. Now he hates her... hate and obsession are most always the same thing.

YES. YES. YES. I came in to write this, but you already did. The 3-4 months leading up to Brooke's takeover and the month or two that followed it... are my ultimate soap opera favorite masterpiece. There are so many great moments. Just a few examples. There are many more.

My boss sent me an AI generated "live" music performance of some fake grandpa singing this pathetic AI song and she refuses to believe when I tell her it's AI. And it's obvious to me. I guess not to her. What world are we starting to live in for God's sake. If people believe this sh-t is real... Then this is just horrifying.

I'm so tired from work, you can't even imagine. It's like 24/7 the past few days. I need a break. I'm close to burnout. My eyes hurt from the monitor screen. I want a weekend off to some resort!

I'm just seeing this! Thank you @YRfan23 and @jcar03 again and again! P.S Brooke nearly died and she is in 7 episodes the entire month. So bizarre. Is KKL going to be slowly doing less and less till we don't even see her anymore. This makes me sad.

I stumbled upon a new episode yesterday and for a moment I thought I was watching an old stream from years ago. It is THAT repetitive, I swear I've seen all of this before.

We do have our share of wannabe-mods who think they are some kind of authority... but the poster in question (IMO) is not one of them. She is just being her usual polite self.

Sadly, I've come to the same conclusion. I never saw this particular side of her, even though... frankly... through the years... she has given a bizarre interview or two. The signs were there, I probably just didn't want to believe it.
