  1. It feels like Fall came tonight. Drastic temperatures shift... I almost feel like I have a cold. Icy wind... I see leaves falling already. We had like 2 weeks of summer and that was it. Hashtag-this is Germany.
  2. My husband and I have resumed our 2003 journey and we are finally in good waters again. Where Brooke loses the company. Wow... a moment 10 seasons in the making! So delicious to see her call Ridge "a bastard" when he votes her ass out. There are glimpses of the old classic show in these scenes. Only glimpses, because it lacks the quality and the class it had... but still. Makes me happy.
  3. She should have pushed him off a balcony and never to be seen again, except in the finale when Ronn Moss comes for 5 minutes to wrap this drivel up. Hashtag-FreeBrooke!
  4. Ridge is the biggest man slut in the universe. He has no right to call anyone a bitch or a whore. Brooke should have NEVER, I MEAN NEVER turned back to him in the way she did. Brooke basically died for me when she forgave him and begged him after he called her child like that. I don't have children (I'm still too young for that 😁), but if some day I have... and anyone calls my child names like this... they will wish they NEVER met me. Brooke acted like a doormat. And is a now... a corpse of a character. Not that she was anything particularly interesting in the few years before this... she hasn't been given anything for the past 10 years... but 2025 is her ultimate LOW. Non-stop doormat, idiotic behavior. I hope somehow Brooke gets back to being more of a bitch in the future. KKL should stop crying in these scenes and channel Brooke circa 1993 where she kicked ass and made OTHER people cry. But of course... someone HAS to write that... And we don't have a writer at Bold. This is practically a show without a head writer. It's surviving on auto-pilot, nostalgia and being 18 minutes.
  5. I support anything you guys decide! ❤️
  6. Nothing surprises me anymore. I honestly won't be shocked if Brooke gets pregnant by Thomas in season 40. Bradley Bell knows no limits of his absurdity.
  7. Back to basics!
  8. Thank you @Errol! I was looking forward to this!
  9. Up to July 15th, 1992. 🦋 "Rumors have wings." 🔷 Oh my God! I can't believe I'm back.❤️ Back to my favorite show! Last time I watched OLTL 1992 was probably close to 3 weeks ago. Then we had a 2 week vacation for which I promised my husband I will not touch my phone. But tonight, finally... I managed 2 entire episodes! 🔷 So what is going on right now? Leanne Demerest is in serious trouble. Her destructive trail of lies and deception has finally come back to bite her... Right now, her baby has too many dads! Kevin, who is his legal father (for now), Max, who she promises "It's your son!" and Jason, who somehow ended up being the baby caretaker. Of course, predictably so, we are heading for a nasty court battle for dear baby Duke... Classic soap stuff. You can't go wrong with this kind of cliches, people just eat it up. Bold has made an entire show around stuff like this. Personally, not my cup of tea, but I still want to see Leanne fall on her butt. 🔷 Now that Alex Olanov (I can't say Alex Hesser for some reason) has finally managed to get rid of Carlo's annoying niece... she has only one problem left to deal with - Addie saw everything. She saw that Stephanie was not alone and that Alex basically orchestrated the entire aftermath of the killing. So, true to her nature... Alex paid Addie a nasty little visit to threaten her. 🔷 Not that the writers have nothing of substance to give Cain and Tina, they've decided to make them part of the mob world of Llanview. Cain agreed to help Alex Olanov plan and steal Cleopatra's jewels. Speaking of the jewels... we saw this mysterious man, an expert of sorts that looked exactly like Carlo in a bad wig. 😂 Don't tell me Carlo faked his death?! If this is a new role, then they have my attention. 🔷 Marty aka The vilest creature in Llanview continued her quest to destroy Andrew. This girl is such a demon. I don't know if she is inherently evil or just incredibly broken, but I don't care. I will never ever forgive her for this. What is happening right now is just horrifying - the entire town is whispering about Andrew, his alleged homosexuality and even more hurtful - the insinuation that he somehow was involved with this kid Billie. This is dark stuff. You can't get more dark than this. They are really not the typical soap opera, I give them that. Sometimes all of this sounds like it's coming from a Dostoevsky novel. Not in a bad way. At all. I would love if some of that serious more dark tone can be done in modern days. Soaps have become such a joke circa 2025. 🔷 Last, but not least... Jason felt betrayed once again by Leanne and ran to Dorian, who was reveling in the return of her little homeless dog. The puppy came back to beg for food and shelter. He wants his job back, of course, planning to help Leanne with the money, but Dorian has other plans. She started smirking and looking around the room, probably wondering if it's time to put on the lingerie. Dorian is acting like the female Asa. Using her power and influence to make him sleep with her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day Psycho over the top Alex torments poor Addie. Bad, bad Alex! (I love Alex's theme music) vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv.mp4
  10. Well... I'm going to... keep my opinions to myself till I see in in the show. LOL.
  11. I want Ridge to fall. He should get some type of reputation ruining scandal that makes him a total social recluse... This rapist-chauvinist-pig doesn't deserve sympathy. I'm sick of the Ridge propping on this show. The FAKE Ridge.
  12. I agree. In the end of the day... what other people think about a show is what other people think about a show. 🤷‍♂️Period. Nothing more and nothing less. Comments about a fictional soap opera should never be taken personally, IMO. The recurring passive aggressive comments when... this or that... doesn't suit what someone here wants to read... are more destructive to the atmosphere than the actual critical comments about the show. We are grown adults-community and nobody can expect from anyone in whatever topic, section, conversation etc... anything... other than to follow the rules and etiquette of the forum. I am empathetic to the people who get annoyed with criticism - I feel you, but you can't always get the exact atmosphere you are looking for. You may be on cloud nine about the show and find that people being critical is... suffocating you, but that is your problem. Nobody is required to adjust their reaction to everyone else. If someone doesn't like certain aspects of the show or even hates them... they should still be able to voice their opinion without feeling the dread of it. And... with 1 or 2 exceptions which are blatant tr-lling (people who I have on ignore and have never engaged with), I haven't seen anyone on the SON board act out of order. Quite the contrary - people here have been utmost respectful to the fact the this is a new show and problems are to be expected. So, yeah... we should all feel free to speak our minds about the show... and I too appreciate all kinds of reviews. BTG is far, I mean far from perfect and there is plenty to discuss in all the ways they could improve and change. We all know that the show is having growing pains, but I fear... some of the issues are deeper than that. They can get resolved with time or get even worse. That is all in the hands of the writers. And I agree with what @DemetriKane said about the female cast on BTG - IMO, the best female cast on any soap opera right now. These ladies are just pure fire. And they bring it every single episode.
  13. I'm down for fashion wars. Brooke should go with Nick and re-start the Marone fashion house with him. Go against chauvinist pig Ridge and mousy Taylor.
  14. I get this every day, I just refresh the page and it goes away.
  15. I'm split on this... I mean... do we really need a cheaper, longer version of Desperate housewives? Maybe some do, but I don't. I also don't know how his technique and style can be transformed successfully into a full-blown 5 episodes a week format. It will feel like overeating with sweets. Marc Cherry should be taken in small, and I mean... small... bites. That's when he is pleasant... So I don't know. Maybe there is a way to do it... My gut tells me - No. But I also agree with @Errol that we need a big name like that to kick-start another project. To have more weight going forward.
  16. I'm going to jump in today! Can't wait. I really hope it's a quality season, because they can't afford to not do it right this time. The last one was very underwhelming in my opinion.
  17. I fully agree. I don't think there's a chance of writing improvement while he is still in charge. The new sets at best will give the show more polished and expensive look (it's been incredibly cheap and bad reality-TV-ish, I mean why would millionaires eat at Sheila and Deacon's pizza dump). The problem is that HE (the one that should not be named) seems to think that these few years are the show's best, or at least that's what HE says in interviews. If you ask me, 2021-2025 have been the lowest point of the show. Every time I hear something like "We've had our best season yet!" I am horrified, even though I know this is a standard cliche pre-sent questions interview-answer. But still. It reminds me of people like that in other spheres in life. The cringe is hardcore. Still there is something I can't deny... especially when I look around the vile world of social media - there ARE people who enjoy the show in it's current condition aaaaand ratings are slightly up from last year. I think some of us have the huge disadvantage (or advantage) to have seen the classic years, or even Brad's better periods in the late 90s, early 00s. Some people have started watching post-pandemic and they have nothing else to compare it to. And some people just like to watch things that are extremely stupid. There is a market for that, just look at tiktok. About the current storylines - what can I say - is there any part of this show that is not JUST recycling bad storylines from the past? Quite honestly, I'm not opposed to recycling storylines, fine, do it... but at least recycle the good ones, OK? I mean... Broliver's Pose fiasco is not something we should be re-doing in any shape or form in 2025. The amount of rape denying and absurdity in this show is really shocking. Is this what people want to see? I hope not. If yes, then I'm not a part of this crowd.
  18. I need this printed on a white t shirt like now! 🤣🤣🤣
  19. Ah! My heart skipped a beat. I have such a sentimental connection to this drivel. Congrats Bold!
  20. Thank you darling @dragonflies ❤️ My doll is ready for her close up at the new studio. I bet everything in there smells like a fresh start. I'm getting excited looking at it. P.S If we only could get better writing... to go along with it, Bold would be unstoppable. Ah, a boy can dream, right?
