Hey y'all! Finally caught up with SLC EPISODE 3. I'm so late to this craziness. 😂 Let's start! ssssssssssssssss.mp4 First of all... the ending was EPIC. It gave "classic housewives when they were actually good" vibes. THIS CAST IS GOLD. I will never stop repeating this. ╰┈➤ Well... Lisa was just being Lisa... and honestly, what else would we expect? Call her toxic or tone-deaf... or narcissistic... or evil or whatever, but she’s a riot to watch. And sorry... but Little girl was throwing rocks while LIVING in a glass house, and I didn’t mind Lisa giving her a taste of her own medicine. Little girl wants to insert herself into all the drama, just like attention-hungry Angie... because they’re both terrified of not being viable part of the storyline... they are afraid of losing their spot on the show. ╰┈➤Bronwyn had a moment with her mother that was... interesting. We saw some toxic behavior. I mean, telling your daughter, who’s taking care of you, that she’d be nothing without her husband’s cash? That was a low blow... and I really felt for Bronwyn in that moment. That said... Bronwyn is letting the show mess with her head. She’s lost her initial charm for me and now... she’s starting to fade next to some of the other personalities. She can’t figure out what kind of character she wants to be. Is she the good girl, the troublemaker... or the evil queen? She’s stuck in between and it shows. Lisa... at least... HAS EMBRACED her role as current bitch of the show. ╰┈➤Meredith... Well... we all know she’ll choose the side with fewer enemies... so I’m not shocked she jumped on Little Girl. I was surprised to see Mary react to her... and I sense some drama brewing between those two. I think the days of Mary/Meredith being sort of BFFs (not that they ever were real ones) are OVER. ╰┈➤Heather... of course... the instigator of all this, just sat back and watched the chaos unfold... something she’s been planting for weeks now. I’m sorry, I don’t want to Ozempic shame anyone... but what on earth is going on with Heather’s face - she looks ill from some angles. Like, seriously sunken cheeks... Not a good look, IMO. Sorry for the honesty. I miss the days when people looked normal. These days everyone looks ill from these weight loss drugs. CAN'T WAIT FOR EPISODE 4 of this MESS.

I've been watching on and off Keeping up appearances... for the last month or two. This woman was a treasure. May she rest in peace.

Up to October 7th, 1992. ⭐ "Let the WAR... BEGIN." 🔷 If we believed that Sloan will take this one sitting down... we were very wrong. He's a very... very manipulative... clever man. He knew that using the pretext of working on Victor Lord's biography will open the gates of Llanfair. Then as soon as he was in... all the bets were off. He did everything he could to entice Victoria's mind. He literally brought her to tears. She was having trouble resisting him and the beauty of it is that it's not some gigolo seducing with his pecs or triceps - it's his mind that Victoria is drawn to. Yet another comparison to her father in attempt to open up her heart and make her more vulnerable. I reminded myself of what @DRW50 said about him days ago. This man is cunning. AND I LOVE IT. 🔷 Cassie and Andrew decided to return the favor to Dorian and help... bring her closer to Blair. It was amusing to see these two women take small steps toward each other while still struggling to communicate. Blair attempted to win Dorian over with praise and asking for forgiveness, but when she realized it wasn't effective, she began to dangle her sister in front of her like a prize. "Let's be friends, and I'll allow you to see your sister." Blair, darling, you should have figured out by now that Dorian becomes very upset when she is blackmailed or manipulated in that way. I love that we are seeing these two interact again... their feud-chemistry is off the charts, and the entire show becomes energized and full of spark when they clash. 🔷 Later... In Asa's manor, the atmosphere was even crazier than usual. Addie overheard the news of Blair's fake pregnancy and became too animated. This led to a confrontation with Asa, nearly a physical one... with Dorian Lord stepping in that exact moment... to observe the toxic environment her sister seems to be living in. The little progress the Cramer women had made... was completely reversed. I believe Blair reminds Dorian of her younger self, which is why she is so triggered by everything Blair says or does. Dorian lacks trust because she recognizes herself IN HER. 🔷 Back in Llanfair... something totally unexpected went down. I've been waiting for this... for months. Clint finally faced off his rival - Sloan. The tension and the back-and-forth made me scream out loud! That's the drama I want to see. The stakes are high! We're talking family, Viki's reputation, and... most importantly - her heart. Sloan didn't back down, he was serving Brooke Logan in her most savage mode. I can't believe I'm typing this down. I am not saying Sloan is Brooke, but in that particular moment... he reminded me of her smugness when she talks to a rival. I think this is the first time I'm seeing a storyline where the "homewrecker" is a silver fox in his 50s. And this time I could really feel for Clint too - he was raw and DIRECT in how he dealt with his opponent. And I appreciated that. LET THE WAR BEGIN! 🔷 Last, but not least... Max was acting in the role of investigator, going around door to door looking for Luna and Suede. In the end her reached the man's sister... who told him the sinister story about her brother's pathological obsession with women and one women in particular... which resulted in her death. Now the clock is ticking, because the same fate may be awaiting Luna. Max, the hero... is on the journey to save her. Not my favorite storyline, but it's not THAT bad either. We've seen similar stuff done to death on soaps. Overall - 8.5/10 (The Max scenes were not that interesting to me.) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day Clint versus Sloan. I don't know how you guys are doing today... but I'm having the slow loading issue again. Very slow. @dragonflies - how is it on your end? I don't want to alert Errol without knowing if someone else is experiencing it too. It's veeery slow to load. Pages take 10-20 seconds... again.

First listen - My girl is back. That's the wit and the sharp bitch I want to hear. The Fate of Ophelia!!!!!!! OMG. Taylor goes GAGA. That's the darkness I CRAVE. Hamlet come and save me! Actually Romantic - amazing melody and very catchy! Momma is on that toxic relationship train again. The Life of a Showgirl - I don't know, but this song gives me Madonna-vibes. American Life, but done The Taylor way. Sabrina!!!!!! Honey... - very light... cute... but again... super catchy. I heard some Ariana Grande stuff in there. 10/10. CANCELLED - BITCH, let's get to rock and roll!!!!!!!!!! Wood - WOOOOOOOOOOF. That retro Motown feel to it... makes it so special. Eldest daughter - I started crying. Tori Amos will be proud. Probably MY FAVORITE SONG OF THE ENTIRE ALBUM. So raw... so truthful. "SO MANY TRAITORS... SMOOTH OPERATORS!" Opalite - the kind of song... you find yourself listening to... passed out drunk in some club... and crying your eyes off. Gave me a bit of Miley Cyrus in there. FATHER FIGURE - NOOOOW BISH... NO. THIS. THIS IS MY FAVORITE. The melodies, the production... the lyrics... "I PROTECT THE FAMILY" Ruin the friendship - I couldn't take how amazing this album was at this point. One of the highlights - so fresh, a little bit young... like a ray of sunshine on my face. Her voice is like honey. Wish list - THE WANT THAT COMPLEX FEMALE CHARACTER. Momma is philosophical once again. They deserve what they WANT. AND I JUST WANT YOU - I'm crying my eyes off again. Elizabeth Taylor - I mean... Lana Del Rey would be proud of this song. Dramatic, atmospheric... I WANT A VIDEO. OVERALL I'M hysterical. RIGHT NOW I feel like this is her best album EVER. I'M OBSESSED. I haven't done anything else, but listen to it today... and dancing in the living room like crazy. FAVORITES - ELIZABETH TAYLOR, FATHER FIGURE, ELDEST DAUGHTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm very happy that you like the clips. 😊 I am always doubting myself if I picked the right scene to highlight. I want to post longer videos, but I also don't want to overwhelm people with too much. And... my God you are correct about his manipulative nature (Sloan)! He's been doing this since the day he met her. I remember telling my husband - come and look there is this new character... and it's an older male homewrecker. He is such a fox! That's how I described him... I didn't even know what would happen back then. But still... I can't deny that chemistry. And I experience a certain escapism like guilty pleasure feeling watching Viki slip up and... do forbidden things. ❤️

I can honestly say that the site has never worked better or faster on my end. It's perfect. I've had slow loading pages for weeks now... Maybe months... I was so accustomed to it. So this new breezy fast forum is just pleasure. If I get any error, I'll report too.

1999-2002 is like a silver period for the show... The golden era being 1987-1993. I like 70-80 percent of the stuff, even if the themes are cheap and taboo. It's not some deep drama, but it's a well executed tabloid scandal show. At least that's when Brad Bell was excited about the show and there was this feeling of anticipation of what's to come. Compared to 2025... Where everything is so dull and dead... 1999-2002 is such a prime era for the show. The best of Brad Bell's head writing. Again... That's by his standards... If I have to compare it to his father... It's still trash.

I agree 💯. I noticed some of the lines are like they were written for a novel and not a television soap opera. They are too long and as you put it "clunky". I've also noticed some of the men have varied dialogue when the dialogue writer changes. I haven't made clear notes on who wrote what, because I just don't have the time... But I've heard men say stuff that are very atypical in style for men to say. Feminine dialogue that sounds absurd. Then when a more adequate dialogue writer is doing the work... The men sound normal again. It's not consistent overall and pretty messy. Someone in charge however should be overlooking this and taking steps to fix it. One more thing that doesn't help clunky literature sounding dialogue is lack of background music or inappropriate one for the mood of the scene. Something that they also like to do. I've seen scenes where Temu Ronn Moss is talking his clunky lines and there is this somber piano going behind him while he is talking about getting it on with Kat. I'm yet to hear really smart dialogue or stunning monologues from this show. I think with time it will happen, but for now it's very mediocre.

Up to October 5th, 1992. ❤️‍🩹 "Homophobia in Llanfair." 🔷 Honestly, I've reached the point where I can no longer excuse Clint's behavior. I refuse to tolerate homophobes, now and ever. What triggered me? Well... Clint once again spoke about Billy as if he were inferior to others... as if he were some sort of disease that could infect his own son. He basically said he didn't want a gay boy to stay in his home. IMO, they've completely ruined his character. He has become one of the antagonists, and I can hardly stand to look at him. Furthermore, his lack of trust in Viki, treating her like some borderline whore who needs to watch her actions... Jesus Christ! This woman is being pushed to her limits. I'm not saying Viki is blameless in this situation... she initiated the whole mess with Sloan... but Clint is making it so much easier for her to eventually - CHEAT. 🔷 Kevin, also known as Asa Jr., has once again indulged his grandfather's sadistic tendencies. We all know the reason behind it - he was full of jealousy after witnessing Leanne and Jason kiss and make out in the courtroom. Now he wants to punish her, and he's done it in a way that would please Asa - they've issued a restraining order that will prevent Leanne from ever seeing her son again. Leanne's attempt to speak with Kevin was interrupted by raging Asa, who seemed delighted by her apparent suffering. Then, as the family gathered around little Duke... a shocking announcement shook Llanfair. The scene with Leanne observing from the window outside was very Young and the Restless-like. I'm beginning to truly feel Josh Griffith's influence as co-head writer. 🔷 Driven by Cain's threatening behavior and Tina's blackmail, Blair has decided to stage a bizarre fake pregnancy. At least, that's my interpretation. We all witnessed her taking her pill consistently. She is doing this to get Cain and Tina off her back... and perhaps then also fake a miscarriage to blame Cain for it. Blair is capable of anything... It's a classic soap opera scenario that I adore, and I can't wait to see how they pull it off. Blair remains one of the most compelling and intriguing characters in this soap. I can't believe they recast her with a blond white woman. I really can't. 🔷 I didn't want to comment on this, but I can't ignore it any longer. Luna and Suede's storyline has taken a very dark turn. He is now behaving like a deranged criminal, pointing a gun at her after assaulting a police officer. If they attempt to redeem this character after this... we'll have issues. I won't forget this moment... as I hate this sort of violence against women. Poor Luna exemplifies the saying that no good deed goes unpunished. She welcomed this man into her life, and he has taken full advantage of her kindness! 🔷 Nora Gannon is gradually immersing herself in the chaos of Llanview. She is listening and observing, a clever little fox, as far as I can tell... and she seems particularly intrigued by Rachel's relationship with Kevin Buchanan. The protective mother bear instinct is strong... perhaps even bordering on controlling... making this dynamic very messy. Mother-daughter conflicts are among my favorite soap opera relationships to dive into. I'm here for it. P.S And let's not forget - Bo Buchanan, the p-ssy of Llanview, is also back in town. But thankfully, no Sarah... thank goodness. That bland drug addict was so basic and uninteresting. I hope we never see her again. Overall - 10+/10 - these past few episodes have been written perfectly. Even Cain and Tina are rootable again. The cartoon stuff is at 0. This current trend of calling celebrities, entertainers, singers, stars... - "the X amount of money you paid to see them"... For example... A TikTok video of a Robbie Williams concert with the title "My 100 euro has his mic ON" and things like that... is disgusting. It's not cute. It's not funny. These entertainers are human beings and... can't and shouldn't be measured in price tags. You can't call people the cost you paid to see them. Every day I'm getting more disappointed in the society we are living in and the effects of things like tiktok and social media on people. They have forgotten what it is to be a human.

So Brad first used this current Taylor to prop Brooke and Ridge and now he is going to be using her to prop Sheila. He continues to think so little of a character that was once legendary.

If Brooke doesn't sleep with Finn till the end of 2025... I'm out.
