  1. And we'll be here to pop the champagne when that happens. 😂
  2. I was just thinking about "One by one" and you just confirmed it. Yeeey. Thank you. 😍 Gonna wait for my husband to come home and off to the bookstore. P.S. - I think her new book is out tomorrow. The Intruder... I think it's called. P.S. 2 - I love how in pretty much every book I've read of hers so far... There is a blizzard and the protagonist can't move due to the weather conditions. Freida loves her blizzard. 😂😍
  3. Yeees. Hahahha. Can you recommend me a book of hers? I'm looking for the next one and will probably jump to the bookstore before it closes tonight. I've only read these three. I think I can't stop till the Freida itch is gone. 😂
  4. For the past week I've binged 3 Freida McFadden books. She seems to be the most popular author right now in the local bookstores. Nothing that deep... just popcorn thrillers. 7/10 - it was nice... my first book of this author. Really fast and full of suspense... But in the end there are a few moment when you need to question the logic and the reality. The overall quality of writing in terms of dialogue is also quite poor. But still such a thrilling ride! 5/10 - interesting premise, very similar to Misery by Stephen King... but it starts getting really stupid by the middle. In the end, I didn't even care about the protagonist. The quality of writing was better in this one in terms of dialogue... compared to Never Lie, but the plot and the twists MADE NO SENSE. 9/10 - the best of the 3 books I've read so far. Very obviously a homage to Psycho. Full of suspense. The best written overall. OVERALL - I can't stop binging this bish's cheap thrillers.
  5. Totally my top 1 track. How many times... I've cried on this... I'm ashamed to say. "Never gonna leave you..."
  6. Yep. I'm interested to say what the next week's ratings will be.
  7. OK, the witch has done it again. The video has grown on me. 😂
  8. Here is the first negative thing I'll say about all of this... I don't like the new video at all. Very generic Taylor video. I expected more. I liked some of the looks, but overall it is... Meh. It is cute... But that's the most I can say. @Toups what do you think? 😊
  9. Hahahahaha. Ain't that the truth. A cute butt is such a double-edged sword.
  10. Well... Whatever the backstage situation was it is still poorly written in that regard and they do so great with the writing overall that all these small things and mistakes make an impression. It's not like the modern day soaps where the writing is so poor, people stop even paying attention to details. But thanks for providing that context.
  11. Oh... I cried so much during this album... I definitely feel a lot of the themes are dark, deep and yes... I'll repeat - mature. Even if the style is sometimes "glitter". That's Taylor after all. I think that we need that glitter to tell some difficult stories. Even starting with the first single... I mean... We all know what Ophelia did, right? She killed herself. Drowned herself. That symbolism is right there in the cover of the album. And the song itself to me speaks of the ways she was saved from a tragic downfall... by love. She even says it - "if you hadn't called I would have drowned in melancholy". Beneath all that glitter are very serious topics IMO. And songs like Eldest daughter and Father figure are not what I would say carefree. I wouldn't call Elizabeth Taylor and Cancelled the most frivolous either. Especially the lyrics and the deeper meaning. A lot of these songs are about personal battles and conflicts. I find most of the songs from the album have lyrics that are carefully chosen and very meaningful. They are at least to me. This is not Britney Spears talking about sleeping with some guy in all her songs. The glitter is just a facade. It's just much more nuanced and mature. That's just my opinion. All of us can take this subjectively and experience it our own way. That's what makes music so powerful, when it's good.
  12. MY NEW ON REPEAT.
  13. Thanks Toups! I'll repeat myself... but I'm not surprised BTG is down for that particular week. It was one of the show's worst. I do expect to see them climb up again soon, because they have been improving.
  14. Yeeeees. It was a great dig, and very appropriate one! Clint is difficult to hate in these moments, when he is real and raw. They should have kept him jealous without making him a homophobe too. One thing I don't like about this storyline is how fast Sloan seemed to go from terminally ill to recovering and in remission. Maybe he is lying about being in remission, which will resolve this issue for me. But it literally changed in the span of 2-3 episodes.
  15. And I'm not surprised at all. IMO this album is her mature masterpiece.
  16. I know it's unpopular opinion, but that opening is one of my favorites ever. The music itself is amazing and unforgettable... It's my current ringtone on my phone, probably won't be changed for decade to go. About the visuals... I like them too and I think they actually fit in the themes and style of the show. The previous one, although catchy... was like a sitcom opening, too upbeat and positive. This one is more closer to the show's dramatic... darker style. So yeah... Different strokes for different folks. This intro is a winner for me.
  17. No. It's slow on both Chrome and Firefox... and on my phone too. With a few moments here and there where it works okay.
  18. It's very slow tonight. I think I'm gonna leave it till tomorrow and I hope it resolves itself.
  19. I think I'm having my American Life Part 2 moment... (That Madonna album that so many people hate... but I still think it's her masterpiece.) 😂 I just love Taylor's new album so much. To me... it's like a window to her soul. I never expected to love it so much, actually... Quite the contrary... I thought she could have a longer pause between releases and expected to be let down. But boy... how I was surprised. I would love to hear what @Toups feels about it too! For sure.
