What a sad story. It's sad what the soaps have come to... to survive.

It's funny how Monica is clearly booted off and everyone saw what a bad liar she was... And somehow people here are talking about the show pleading for her to return. Give me a motherloving break. 😂 Didn't you get the memo - the show doesn't WANT HER. They want to clean their hands from this mess. Believe me... if Monica Garcia could sell her soul to the Devil to get back next season, she will. Nobody would have to plead with her. Andy will look at her and she will be at the door waiting for a spot... right then and there. Didn't you forget this is a woman who has been OBSESSED with the show. But it would be CRAZY for Andy to hire someone so dangerous and so two-faced. You don't want people like that under contract with your money. This is a no-no. She has become so toxic, she is untouchable.

The show really did look bad during the final years. Believe it or not, I didn't know it wasn't always like that and that was a part of me not wanting to try this soap out. I had watched some very badly shot scenes that looked like a bad reality television and though wow this looks like it was made from high schoolers with their phones. But when I opened the 1992 playlist and started watching.. it really blew me away how prime and how beautiful the show looked and felt. Why did they allow this horrible reality tv type of shooting.. Who's idea it was... it was BAD.

Monica Garcia will never be back. It will demean Andy to give her a second chance.

Thank you for this heads up. I have already downloaded everything from this channel on an old hard drive to have as a backup if episodes start missing. I have been, in the past, a victim of not downloading when I had the chance... I remember a time when there were many All my children episodes and just when I started watching, everything was deleted. So this time I have backed up. hope they stay online and there are even more episodes from the 80s up in the future. As in buying episodes, I don't plan to do this, since scammers have tried to scam me in the past with episodes. P.S You are this forum's talisman. What will we do without you!

Real FIRE! I hope someday we will able to watch the 80s in full too. I am sad that I only saw 1992 of the OG Alexandra. But in a way it's like saving the cake for last. I know that in couple of year we will have more full years. I will be dreaming and looking forward to 1984-1991. You too! I began watching on experiment, thinking I won't be able to get into it, but Alexandra Spaulding by Beverly... made me so hooked and now I love the second Alexandra too. I like the overall vibe of the show and I like how the comedy is not too forced, like on other soaps. 1992 was an amazing year. I will re-watch it some day... now that I know who everyone is... maybe I will appreciate it more.

I have started watching Guiding light every night in bed on my phone and am up to 1993 October... The new Alexandra is plotting her revenge. I love this show so much. Is the quality going to be good for years to come or is it going to go bad soon. I am scared, since I have now watchin 1992 and 1993 and enjoyed them so much. I would rate the show 10/10. I don't want this to end, If you know what I mean.

Um, I did not say you cannot believe it, It's even cute. But yeah, she relies on people like you, people who can believe her, to continue with the fake drama. I am sorry, but I can bet on my life she and Mauricio are not splitting up. I have my reasons to believe, so do you and time will tell if I or you were right. I also read body language and non verbal signs, I also have a degree in psychotherapy. I know liars and I know acting from the truth. Rarely I am wrong. But maybe this time I am. The current situation and current episodes tell me I am not wrong. I believe Kyle will drag this for 2 seasons, this one and the next and make sure she stays on the show. She is webbing the plot very slowly and they will be more drama later in the season, with the next season a culmination and recovery of her broken relationship. This bisexual thing is another way to stay trendy and woke in a similar way of And Just Like That. I actually am interested how much fake story she will end up creating, just to stay relevant. Kyle reminds me of these high school girls, we all know, that befriend a lesbian, just to make sure there is this one person in love with them and drooling over them... with no intention of ever returning the real thing. It's a thing narcissists do and I know a lot of lesbians who have that straight cool girl woman, best friend. It never ends well.

Kyle lives through people like you, who can believe all this. Don't get me wrong... it's cute you believe this... but no.. her marriage did not end when he didn't show up to her dead friend event. Kyle is acting, so is Mauricio and all these scenes where she is acting like hiding something and hinting something... are LOL level of bad acting. Kyle wants to stay and survive and be trendy. She will sell her soul to be in the news.
