I would love a new Anita story... something inspired from real life maybe. These entertainers-singers have so many strange things happen to them. From stalkers... to people extorting them for money (maybe Anita did something shameful before getting famous and becoming an EGOT and someone has the pictures/receipts) etc. So many great storylines Tamara Tunie can play with. She deserves it. I want a real REAL powerful storyline with my darling Anita.

As a fellow actor... I find this demeaning attitude towards us one of the oldest cliches. Some people... writers, directors, producers... don't realize that actors are not beneath them. TV-production is a collaborative process. So is theatre. (Unless you are doing a mono-drama - acting, directing and writing it yourself). If you don't respect an actor's talent, you can't expect them to respect your writing talent. And vice-versa. I'm talking in general. I have no way of knowing if all of this about Lemay is the truth. Maybe it's not. Maybe it is. But also reading in the previous page of the topic, how he "seemed intent on destroying" these two women's careers... I'm just dumbfounded. And want to look into this. Maybe starting with his book. Not that I will ever fully believe an autobiography. People skew the reality when they tell their version of history. But my curiosity is heightened and I have to start somewhere. I adore Harding Lemay's work from the little I have seen (I haven't watched a Harding Lemay episode I didn't love). That's all I can say. @Mona Kane Croft put it perfectly -"Ya' take the good, ya' take the bad..." and that's what we have to do sometimes. There are no saints in this business or any business for that matter.

Indeed, absolutely stunning. ❤️ That woman lights up the whole room (or rather, the entire building) with her smile. I crave more personal, intimate Viki content. Up until now (based on my semi-limited experience), she has primarily been defined by her children. Her relationship with Clint is endearing, yet there seems to be a vibe of monotony. I'm not big fan of couples staying too happy on these soaps for too long. As Tolstoy famously said - "All happy families are alike... each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." I want to see this specific unraveling. It would be very poignant to witness the most stable and family-oriented character on the show... actually lose control and give in to temptation. Still... I have no clue if this storyline will evolve into something greater. I'm doing my best to avoid spoilers. But I am thrilled where this is going for sure. Sloan and Viki sizzle next to each-other. I'm not ashamed to admit it. And yet... she still has small children with Clint. So... I'm torn. And I love when that happens.

We need a Kenya cameo... for season 2 for sure. 😛

BTW, I forgot to tell you guys... Valarie Pettiford and Tonja Walker talk about BTG and how proud they are of Tamara Tunie... at around the 10th minute mark. It's nice to hear.
