  1. That's something I would put in my CV. ❤️
  2. Even when he is dying (if he is) Liam is sooo unsufferable. Sorry, not sorry. I know SC is a good actor, but that's completely lost in Bold. Brad Bell can't work with talented people at this stage of the game. Years ago they could help elevate the material... but circa 2025 - it just doesn't work anymore. The material is so bad that EVEN God himself can't elevate it.
  3. She makes me laugh. And I like how they are writing her. MVJ just gets Hayley so well. And all her clothing and interior design choices are just... the cherry on top. 😂
  4. Have to check it out. I love audio-drama! And most of the time... all drama is audio-drama to me, since I like to close my eyes while "watching" shows. 😊
  5. I'm not a fan either... (publicly) It's a secret. 😂 Promise not to tell anyone! She won me with the "I know you were in my house bitch" moment that I replayed more times than I would dare to say. 😊
  6. Hayley has great potential in my opinion. And the actress brings it when time comes. She's also evolving for me and getting better. I am a secret Hayley fan at heart hahahha
  7. Sad thing is that not only straight people do this. The amount of discrimination and prejudice inside the community is crazy. People inside... know what I'm talking about. There are corners where people are perceived "less than" if they don't act a certain way. Certain way almost always means macho and manly.
  8. Speaking on that topic... Yes I agree that these stereotypes don't work anymore... And they have never worked by the way. I've been asked by people as a joke why do I not act gay... And I take offense to that when asked. I am acting like myself. And I'm gay. So I am acting gay... But my gay in their eyes reads as straight. Not my problem. Even if I force myself to act differently it doesn't work. I have tried btw in my younger years... For the experiment of it... but I look fake. My husband is the same. We are usually asked if we are colleagues or relatives. Till they see us holding hands. That's when jaws drop. Speaking of Martin... I'm slowly beginning to accept the actor. The character is still what it is, but the actor has improved sooo much.
  9. Do you guys think it will be easy to rebuild... or was the soap very badly damaged by this writer at this point? What directions do you want to see changes in?
  10. I don't have a problem with the pacing of BTG. Not in the beginning, not now. I am one of the people that can watch a soap that moves incredibly slow (not that BTG is slow, btw)... IF IT'S WRITTEN beautifully and the characters are not cartoons. My main issues are that some of the writing so far has been sketchy (I believe because of growing pains and establishing so many characters at the same time) and some of the stories just don't work (Ashley's the saint and the mob stuff). Otherwise... I love a slow-burn. I don't like primetime-pacing, even though I am not opposed to short periods when it's fast-fast-fast. I think the issues right now are mostly in terms of character development, acting, not working stories, lack of cliffhangers and some editing problems. The pacing is fine by me. I'm not rushing. AND LET ME SAY THIS - some of the dialogue writers are good. Some aren't. That's just the truth. I'm sadly not remembering who is good and who is bad... because I have ADHD and if I don't write them down, I may mix the names up. But some of the dialogue has been very Bradley Bell, something I've said from day 1... month 1... and that has irritated me to no end (the whole board knows I HAVE PTSD from Bradley Bell's writing). And some of it is just cringe. I've given plenty examples. Not gonna repeat. But I've also had episodes where I'm just enthralled by the writing and I find it clever, multi-dimensional and just... classy. So... I think a lot of these things need to be cleared with time and the soap has the potential to really blossom. I'm optimistic.
  11. I've drifted off couple of times, not gonna lie... especially during the casino stuff. That's my sign that something is not working. My eyes start closing, brain shuts down, refuses the material, LOL. And then when Leslie comes up, I just perk up. That's the type of presence I want on my screen. And yet... I do think she's becoming a bit cartoonish in the way they are writing her. I want a slow-burn type of crazy. Still, not complaining about her. Love her. I just want them to be careful. I don't want her turned into rotten modern day Sheila too fast. Now thinking about it... I think what is happening is quite normal. A safe-kinda-boring period where the show is establishing itself after the fireworks beginning. I remember Bold's first 60 episodes - other than the beautiful dialogue and great acting from Susan Flannery... some of the stuff was borderline sleep-inducing. It wasn't till the 60+ episodes they started really bringing it. Praise the Lord for that!
  12. This is me... when I decide to call in sick to work so I can sleep all day.
  13. My version, but it's Dani and Joan Crawford (played by Faye Dunaway) ❤️ 😂
  14. That's just cute. ❤️

  18. My favorite episode was when she was called by a friend of hers who was believing she is hearing and seeing the ghost of her husband... but all of it was staged. I don't remember what season it was. As a young child seeing this episode on TV felt like hardcore horror movie. I screamed and ran out the room couple of times. And had it taped on VHS. Ah... those were the days. Every single thing was so important. Now you just press a button and you have the entire series online in 4K. I miss when I used to replay the only 5 episodes I got on the tape. 😂
