I love how I just watched a scene between Iva and Lucinda where Iva declares that she can cite the day, hour and minute of Lily's birth, yet decades later we were supposed to believe that Iva couldn't remember having a whole other child.

Didn't someone else post this site in the past, or am I confusing it with another? It seems as if all those episodes are either up on You Tube or sets that SoapClassics distributed and sold.
I wouldn't give my personal information (not to mention financial) to a website that is not secure. Seems like a recipe for identity theft or worse.

Well, after being based in Chicago (my hometown) for the last three years, and in New York City for several years prior to that, I’m getting ready to make a big move back to Los Angeles, where I lived and worked for more than 20 years.Why did you leave LA…and why are you moving back?I moved away when the television industry moved away from me! I was in my mid-50’s when the phone stopped ringing. And it wasn’t just that casting directors stopped calling me…most women over 50 pretty much disappeared from both the large and small screens. But the reason I’m moving back, is because there’s been a change in the culture…and I can once again see a place for me on TV.Last year, AARP Studios did a profile on me for their #DisruptAging campaign, as a representative of the Positive Aging movement.The last of the Baby Boomers – over 76 million of us in the U.S. – are now over the age of 50. And according to the 2017 U.S. Census, 90.7 million Americans aged 50 and older account for 41.6% of all consumer spending…and they watch television 63% more than do Millenniums.
What brought about doing comedy?
I actually began my career in New York as a sketch comedy writer and performer with Off-Center Theatre and later toured with the Boston-based improv troupe, The Proposition. But after I started getting recognition as one of the few African-American soap opera heroines – playing DiDi Bannister on Procter & Gamble’s EDGE OF NIGHT on ABC – people tended to forget that I had ever done comedy.That changed, though, in 1984, when Edge (which was produced in New York) was cancelled and I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in prime-time television.I guest-starred on a ton of sitcoms, playing a wide variety of characters, most notably – and probably the most diametrically opposite – recurring as Meshach Taylor’s yuppie-from-hell girlfriend, Lita Ford, on DESIGNING WOMEN (http://youtu.be/HnSZeyzEwbU )and as Sherman Hemsley’s ditzy stripper girlfriend, Lois Keller, on FAMILY MATTERS.I was also the wife or girlfriend to leading men Ernie Hudson, Dennis Haysbert, Clifton Davis and O.J. Being unemployed! And that is not a glib answer. Actors are creative people. What would be your dream role?

It would be great if that got picked up! Other than that, I’m an actor-for-hire. I love acting – comedy OR drama – and I’ll go wherever the work takes me, including another soap.
What advice would you give to up and coming actors or comedians?A lot of young people came of age during the era of Reality TV and they just want to be stars. But for those who are serious about acting – either drama or comedy – I’d say: “Learn your craft; be persistent; be patient; learn your lines; be on time; be polite; be a team player; develop your own projects instead of waiting for somebody to hire you…and most importantly, NEVER give up!”0 -

For the most part, I'd have to agree with you. There haven't been any truly stand out matches this year, IMO.
Part of me wants to blame the surface and the fact that the grass has been playing more like a clay court this year. I understand that The All England Club wanted to thwart "serve-bots" but I think they went too far in the other direction, creating stroke-production most similar to the infamous Isner-Mahut 1st round years ago, where points wouldn't end, they just died (no wonder Isner made it as far as he did!)
Imo, though there is potential for a compelling women's final since both players have faced each other before and played some highly competitive matches in the past.
@Faulkner Cibulkova's reasoning in the press conference reminds me of that of Capriati, after that horrendous call in her match against Serena where Capriati basically tried to pass if off as "oh, I've gotten bad calls in the past too" therefore it shouldn't be a big deal when my opponent gets a bad call. The logic is poor and unconvincing to me.

Obviously Rosenstein wants to ensure that there is a chain of accountability, so it's not just his word against Trump's lies, which plenty of people are more than willing to believe.

Still, Anderson’s performance is inspiring. I’ve never been a huge fan (even though he seems like a nice guy), but the fact he didn’t break himself shows so much growth.
I find Kevin Anderson's game boring to watch but he has shown a lot of growth from last year to this year. I can't stomach watching Isner and Raonic playing, so the fact that they are currently playing each other is a hard pass from me.

I just read an article about an amazing 14 year old child from Myanmar who was instrumental in the rescue of Thai boys and their coach. Adul Sam-on is stateless, has no citizenship papers and was brought over the border from Myanmar to Thailand by his parents who wanted him to have a decent education.
Adul who is one of the most academically gifted students in his school, speaks 5 languages, one of them being English, which he used to translate between his fellow team members, Thai rescuers and British divers.
The U.S. now throws people like Adul away or bars them from entry.
So called Christians and evangelicals want to cite the parable about the stone that the builders refused becoming the cornerstone? Well this exemplifies this parable that people love to cite so much even as many of these same people rail against migrants and refugees.
Well, Adul is both and he was instrumental in helping the rescue effort going as well as it did.

All of them. Part of my family is from Jamaica (and they also happen to live in Brooklyn) so the accents don't pass muster to me but I'm definitely a tough judge.

Serena has nothing to prove at this point and by getting to this final, she zooms up to Top 30 (I think) in the rankings. Angie Kerber was just relentlessly focused today on every single point.
Many people noticed that Serena looked off balance at times but it also could have something to do with Kerber's play-- she varied her shots so often that, it seemed as if Serena didn't know what to expect. Full credit to Kerber and many compliments to Serena on that run to the final.
