Of course it also did serious damage to Jack's character. And it came so out of left field...... I still remember feeling like when it happened.

Kathy was an honorary Sugden too and took care of the Sugden kids when Jack was accused of killing Sarah. She also had a topsy-turvy relationship with Kim, going from close friends to enemies and rivals.

We've had a tightening of the rules here in Sweden as well. Our parliament today voted to give the government more power to implement stricter measures more easily. The authorities now have the power to shut down malls, gyms, shops etc if they don't follow the rules. A limit on social gatherings has also been implemented, for both public and private gatherings. Starting yesterday we're also being urged to wear masks on public transportation during rush hours (7-9 in the morning and 16-18 in the afternoon)

Wow! You know, I think the rot has gone too deep. The Republican party is beyond salvation. The decent Republicans (I'm sure there are some out there somewhere) would probably do better breaking free and starting a new party.

I see it's time to bring this back....

As an outsider, without real knowledge on politics in the US, I think that Nancy Pelosi is doing exactly what needs to be done. It really doesn't matter if an impeachment is successful or not, she has to do this. It would set a very dangerous precedent if they didn't demonstrate in every way that what happened is completely unacceptable and that they will do everything they can to make sure that the guilty ones will suffer the consequences. It doesn't matter that Trump "only" has two weeks left.

I sincerely hope that Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and the others will stop their pathetic attempt to prevent Joe Biden from being confirmed as president after what has happened today. If they don't they should be forcibly removed from office and banned from holding public office ever again.
