  1. Another hearing has been scheduled for tomorrow at 1 pm.
  2. Couldn’t find anything re Dr. Stern and he doesn’t’t look familiar.
  3. I remember getting aggravated when they would pre-empt for the astronaut returns. The capsule would just splash in the ocean and you really couldn’t see anything since they were filming from a distance. Then the commentators would repeat what had just happened. Did enjoy the moon landing but that happened at night where I lived.
  4. Doug and Hope mentioned Dougie in a scene when Hope was pregnant with Shawn. I went to school with a boy we always called Dougie, so maybe it was a 70s thing, lol?
  5. Days went to #1 for the first time during the week of November 8, 1971. This was the first time a CBS soap didn't top the ratings in something like 10 years.
  6. 1963, so guess that couldn’t be her in the pic (assuming she didn’t lie about her age).
  7. Okay, then I don't think I got the right one @slick jones.
  8. Seeing this again, it hit me that she looks like Pamela Bellwood. Just checked wiki and it says she was born Pamela Anne King. This must be her! What do you think? Could she have played those roles? Maybe another actress with the same name?
  9. I remember reading an interview with Edward Mallory in which he said Floy Dean was replaced because she was "too soft."
  10. Soon after RFK’s assassination, Bell wrote a letter that was published in Variety discussing the way Hollywood portrayed violence in tv and films. Robert Scott Wilson posted this to his Instagram today. I guess some CIN Stan’s have been harassing him about his girlfriend, lol.
  11. That makes sense. I enjoyed her in her role as Kitty the snoopy reporter on The Doctors. Wish I could see her earlier work.
  12. Thanks @victoria foxton! I enjoy seeing the episodes with Don Briscoe. He was one of my childhood pin-ups when he was on Dark Shadows. 😊
  13. @slick jonesFound this from August 1964 re Lynne Rogers.
  14. So sorry to hear this. Enjoyed him on GL. His story with Jane Elliott as Carrie Todd is the first I remember watching. He seemed like a nice man in real life too.
  15. So sorry about Naomi Judd. She was from my hometown and people there were proud of her success.
  16. They really didn't start casting soap actors based mainly on their looks until the early 70s. Mickey (and John Clarke) is one of my favorites, but the only time I crushed on him a bit was when he had the long hair and beard when he met Maggie.
