I remember watching AW as a kid and really hating the Joe/Paulina/Jake triangle. Paulina and Jake were incredible. Joe was a horrible character whom I wish would have succumbed to a death similar to Frankie's.

I've always wondered about Swajeski's capabilities as a HW. Her early 90s AW was pretty good, but since AW she hasn't served as the sole HW of any soap. Kind of sucks because I'm curious as to how it may be. I've often wondered how Nancy Curlee and Donna Swajeski might have been as a team.

I'm starting to feel the same as well, seeing how polling is still so close even after Handel's terrible debate performance.

I always shipped Gilly/A-M and would've have loved to see where Curlee and Co. would have taken them.

Some recent clips of Kirsten Gillibrand has me really hoping for her to run in 2020. I was rather skeptical of her for the first few years but now I'm warming up to her quite nicely.

I don't take anything that Grant Show is in seriously, not since the days of Dirt, which was a short lived but watchable series on FX.

Plenty of episodes from Early 1989/1990 are on Youtube (munecojim?) and the good stories going on around that time are Alan-Michael/Harley/Blake/Phillip/Beth which includes Susan's adoption, and Reva's post partum/Dylan's paternity.

I've been watching the show for quite some time now, I like that they've FINALLY given Betty's mom more dimension, from her modest background to the abortion she had. More of this please.

2002 was a year where I can actually say the show was at least 50% salvageable. So much potential with its storylines, but all sqaundered away because of Conboy/Weston. The show even hinted at a storyline about insider trading if I recall, involving Phillip. The stalker should've been Jonathan. Danny and Cassie would've been a better pairing than what we were actually subjected to. Alan Michael should've returned and thrust into the Spaulding drama. (I personally would've also had Blake get drawn back into the war over Spaulding Enterprises perhaps conspiring with Alan-Michael to get their own shares. Not sure if Taggart was planning on having Blake thrown into the mix of Alex and Alans war.)

I think the actor acknowledging that his character is bi, just shows that the show is waiting to play on that part of Steve at the appropriate time. It's why they writers are purposely trying to paint Lauren and Steven as being incompatible. Perhaps once Lauren and Steven are obviously done with they explore his bisexuality more.

Who penned the Dash storyline? Just reading summaries and etc. sounds quite offensive, yet this is around the time the show won Outstanding Writing.

The writing for Reva is what did it for me, not so much her presence. Reva from 89-90 was a prime example of the show giving Reva a good meaty storyline, but not allowing her to eat the show.

Yeah Ross has been so much better without that albatross Debbie around. Sigh.

Thats the only thing that could make Debbie interesting to me at this point. That and the reaction from the Barton men.

From what I've read/watched on YouTube Debbie was attracted to women as well?
