Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Rodney would definitely make a move on Tracy, not judge her. To be honest I think Rodney has pretty much served his purpose as a character and I wouldn't be sad to see him go. I'm not sure what the point of the kiss was, as Jimmy and Tracy work fine as friends. I've actually grown to like Tracy a lot. I think we're supposed to see Ross' vulnerability through his relationship with Debbie, but the actors are so lacking in chemistry that it falls flat. Thanks for the compliment. Tara's a wonderful character (and Anna Brecon a very good actress - I had no idea until today that she's married to the guy who played the hot, dull doctor Maxine had a baby with on Corrie). Sometimes I wish they could bring her back. The show can still be good. Brenda's reactions on Tuesday were great - one of the best moments of the year for any soap. Lesley Dunlop was incredible. It's just...you have to get through so much else for these moments, and the show can't afford that, because it doesn't have the cushion of viewer goodwill that EE and Corrie have. I realize they have 6 episodes a week and are constantly pushed to cut and so on, but just a little less crime and plot and a little more character would be a big help.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
There used to be a site that had UK TV shows. Sadly it's gone now. I downloaded the handful that were on there while I had a chance, as I'd heard of the show mostly through some of their Doctor Who segments.

All My Children Tribute Thread
Thanks. I just got around to watching the two episodes in one upload where Cliff and Nina reunited, and it was so beautifully done. I can't help wondering if they shouldn't have just written them out for good at that point, outside of visits. I don't understand what the show was doing with Jeremy and Erica.

You can almost see why Trump is doing so well. The scariest part is I just don't trust Hillary to be able to beat someone like Walker.

The Politics Thread
Gov Googly Eyes continues to race to the right, as the media does backflips to still try to show us how mainstream he is. Here he is saying the minimum wage is "lame": http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/walker-dismisses-minimum-wage-lame And here he is supporting a policy that cast gay men as sexual predators going after kids: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/07/14/scott-walker-boy-scouts-ban-on-gay-leaders-protected-children/

I'm just glad you're still speaking to me with my Emmerdale rantings... What upset you the most? I am going to skip the Bethany stuff, unless something brilliant happened?

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I haven't bothered to watch it yet. Kind of dreading it. Anyway, here's an alternate style of closing credits from April 1994. I always wonder how many of these there were.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Wow. That would have likely had higher ratings than the Kandi one they just did. I wonder if they're playing hardball or are just done with her. They really should be looking for new shows. These seem to have had their day. Even this thread is much slower than it used to be.

Someone uploaded an April 1981 episode.- Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I kept finding some February and March 1994 episodes I hadn't uploaded and thought I had. It's a shame how few Bet episodes there are (although there are a lot I'm missing). This is a good one - Bet reconciling with Charlie after the C&W bar mess in the episode before (which I also uploaded). Julie does great here, especially the scene where she sees Charlie again in the pub, right before taking him back. And I love the bit where she flirts with and then she, Vicky and Tanya all drool over the (not very hot) guy Raquel is doing a photo shoot with. It's a rare sight of camaraderie amongst the backbiting atmosphere at the Rovers in this period.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
