I haven't seen a lot it myself but he was basically a sleaze who made a move on Kerry and also went around robbing local businesses. If you ever want to see any of his episodes I can put them on my Dailymotion.- ALL: Temporary Replacements
- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's some serious eye makeup on Kyle and Erika. I could swear Rinna used to wear her hair like that sometimes in the '90s. I often think Lisa Rinna wishes the '90s had never ended. Reading the comments above about Andy Cohen not liking the endless gay-bashing "speculation" - I don't either, but it just feels hypocritical to me given the gay stereotypes the shows were happy to truck out, especially early on. One of the reasons I stopped watching Project Runway and lost a lot of interest in Bravo in general is I felt like their shows had become very crass in exploiting gay culture and campery while also pushing subtext about gay men or lgbt people being lesser and sometimes not even human. Maybe it's gotten better in recent years, I don't know. (I have no idea what Project Runway is like now as I haven't watched Lifetime since they took off The Nanny).- Twin Peaks

I liked Trevor a lot as well - I started watching in mid-1995 so I missed the earlier years, and to be honest I haven't watched a lot of that material as the stories about Collins and Kiberd overshadow it for me.- Twin Peaks
Oh that's so awful I know he had a long career and it's somewhat dismissive to just talk about Twin Peaks, but I just loved his work on the show this season so much - he was always such a beacon of kindness and warmth and love, yet never done in a way that felt syrupy or false. Many of the biggest moments of heart this season were with Carl Todd, and HDS made all of them so real. I especially loved the moments with Shelly after Becky sped off leaving her on the grass. And helping the man who was selling plasma. I'm glad he and David got to work together several more times as they seemed close.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
He doesn't really remind me of Paddy (unless you mean somewhat physically). I don't see the point of him (and "Daz" should just be Andy's brother), but I do like Dan so at least this gives him something to do.- All My Children Tribute Thread
I tend to wonder how much was down to how different he was to most men on AMC up to that point, especially those in Natalie's life. I sometimes wonder if it was also a tacit admission to how much of Natalie's personality they had seeped away over the years.- Twin Peaks
I don't get media coverage like "Lynch says another season will take four and a half years," or "Another season? Don't hold your breath." He didn't say another season would take four and a half years - he said the last one did. That was with a 25-year gap. I can't imagine he'd take 18 hours for a new season. I think he'd also know that after losing a numbers of actors this season, 4 years would be a luxury he may not have.- Knots Landing
Ah the "Sally's friend" storyline. This was when you could really tell that the show had no idea what to do with Gary or Valene, but I have to admit I enjoyed it. Ted's own personal charm carried most of Gary's material anyway (even that can't salvage saying "tidal energy" 5000 times). Looking back I also wonder if this was thrown together due to the show having to run away from a story with Pat and Gary. Is that poor Pat in the shot? Don't get me started on her...- The Politics Thread
A day or two ago I saw that experts noticed activity at their nuclear test site which made them think they were taking stuff to have tests in another area. And South Korea is asking for more weapons, and our president wants more nukes... It's terrifying.- Loving/The City Discussion Thread
It actually is jarring to see Tudor back in that first clip - I think it's the physical difference more than the acting. So what was this story with Wally's brother who is so bad (and is presumably played by the same actor)? I've always wanted to see more of Ilene on Loving but a lot of this stuff has seemed very throwaway.- Twin Peaks
I do sort of wonder if we get more we won't with Audrey, unless he just wants to tease. Yeah I was surprised he seemed to sort of say that there may be more just in several years. He could have been more cautious if he wanted to be. So whatever happens I think the revival must have sparked some interest in him for more.- HBO: Game of Thrones
@YRBB you probably already saw this, but:- Y&R: Old Articles
I laughed at the last letter which basically said she wanted Jack to be fun and bad and that perfect Danny and Patty could go be boring together. I guess it shows you how popular Jack was becoming by this period. And when she said she liked when Ashley busted "Jackie's" balls - one of those relationships that isn't the same without Terry, sadly.- Dynasty Discussion Thread
Awful, awful writing (especially the first clip), but seeing Al Corley again my heart went right out to him, the way it always did. Jack Coleman may have been a better overall actor but he was never believable as Steven. I wonder if he has played any gay characters since. Whoever cast this Bart must have had an eye on gay porn couples of this era because he and Steven have that type of look, which sort of adds undertones that you sure weren't going to get anywhere else in those scenes...- One Life to Live Tribute Thread
Yorlin Madera. (I wonder where he is now...)- Loving/The City Discussion Thread
From the little I've seen of Tudor's first run she wasn't far off this. I do think Savage has a different style, but it works for me. The scene where she tried to kill Clay after he helped lead Trisha to lose her baby was good.- Twin Peaks
I know some didn't like the CGI but I thought the way they handled Bob in the revival was one of the best uses of a character played by an actor who is no longer with us. It was actually brilliant. You could still feel Bob's menace and nastiness and you felt like you were still watching Frank Silva acting out the scenes - even that delirious moment with Bubble Bobble. Really Lynch did a better job than he got credit for with most of the characters played by actors who aren't with us anymore. Much more than I had expected. I guess maybe because he wasn't going to get upset if someone complained on social media.- Search For Tomorrow Discussion Thread
That sounds like typical Dynasty (didn't Steven just go back to Sammy Jo yet again after that?). I remembered he was in the reunion movie and wondered if it was Conroy as I would have liked seeing him with Al Corley, but apparently it was someone else. It's a shame - Conroy had the perfect face and body and charisma for Parting Glances-type scenes.- Search For Tomorrow Discussion Thread
Was he the only Chase? I really liked him on AW. I wish that had worked out.- Search For Tomorrow Discussion Thread
I'm not sure. I never have watched or seen much of the last months of SFT but I wonder how Ashford was with Joanna Going. I never felt like Lisa Grady was much of a fit for her. I think Adair and Chase were long gone. Which Kate do you prefer?- Y&R: Old Articles
