  1. Is that Christine Jones?
  2. Dana Ashbrook interviews Madchen Amick. https://twitter.com/DanaAshbrook/status/964242059807870976
  3. I've always thought he was overhyped and he underdelivered as a skater. His Russian propaganda also made me wary. I wonder if he is seething inside over all the attention Adam Rippon has received. I saw this mentioned in an article a few days ago. I'd never seen it, but it truly is beautiful.
  4. I wouldn't say that she was a "failure," per se, but there was a fan backlash to Lucy, as she was heavily showcased early on and a lot of people found her irritating.
  5. I love that Obama/Garland tweet. If only Garland was here for us now.
  6. She said recently she would leave but mostly when her kids are older.
  7. I don't want to be a nasty person but I can't take anything involving Lisa Bloom seriously.
  8. I'm not all that interested in any of the major names. I can more easily tell you who I don't want to run - Joe Biden (I think he had his chance) and Elizabeth Warren (she would not win and she is better served in an advisory role) and Bernice Sanders (nuff said).
  9. I think that's a pretty natural part of a storyline. The real issue is we already know Debbie will face no consequences and most likely this will end up being about how she suffers.
  10. That photo breaks my heart.
  11. Cory Booker is just a pandering, grandstanding phony - the stuff with Mindy Kaling still makes me cringe. If vanity candidates want to do this, fine by me. I just hope the people who really have a chance at changing things in this country don't.
  12. None of this is especially new for Sorbo, from what I remember. I wouldn't say "who cares," but I do think that more people should just start ignoring these hard right celebrities, because responding to them just feeds their martyrdrom and puts more money in their pockets. It's one of the things that has gotten Antonio Sabato Jr many talk show appearances and helped fund his run for Congress, which is a way to extend his 15 minutes as even he likely knows he has no chance of winning.
  13. It's funny you mention Blue Apron as when I watch Ben Shapiro's podcast sometimes he is shilling for them. That's probably where Trump got the idea from (from the far right hucksters). I can't remember if you already mentioned this, but it shows the danger and absurdity of such corner-cutting. And the complete callousness toward human life. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/02/with-no-employees-or-experience-atlanta-woman-got-usd156-million-fema-contract-to-provide-30-million-relief-meals-to-puerto-rico.html
  14. I remember an article about him last year that talked about how active he was in Democratic politics (even speaking at the 2000 convention). Some claim his wife changed his views and others think he's just an opportunist. He was found to still be getting money for working with Democrats all the way through 2002. The media loves Republicans who used to be Democrats so I imagine they will help him as best they can. Speaking of the Senate, it looks like they are trying to beg Bob Corker to pull a Marco Rubio and run again. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/12/tennessee-corker-republicans-senate-405971 It's surprising to me because I assume Marsha Blackburn would win easily in November. Tennessee has been a reliably GOP state for a while now. Maybe a lot of the Republicans in power in TN just don't like her, as suggested in the article.
  15. Do you mean JLB Laura? I am trying to remember if she was ever used as a serious psychiatrist. I remember when they had her practice it was to do the poison paint story. If anyone wants to see these someone gave them to me a few months ago:
  16. She's the reason I stopped watching the show (well that and the writing in general had become sour and bitter and also that really bad story with Kerry and Elizabeth Mitchell that came across like Kerry was being indoctrinated). It's not nice to say but I also wanted someone to give Sally Field's character a hard slap any time she appeared. Just too much of Sally Field Sally Field-ing.
  17. Based on the other episodes from that day they uploaded, this was from June 1991.
  18. Jennie is asked about the Shannen Doherty feud. It's an interesting interview...
  19. https://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/08/duncan-hunter-campaign-funds-fbi-397621 This story on Duncan Hunter (a California Congressman) is pretty typical but reading it just reminds you of how much Republicans get away with, especially when it gets to the point where people accuse him of being drunk and angry while working.
  20. Crawling up their own asses for ratings. They come in three: https://www.politico.com/story/2018/02/09/rachel-brand-leaving-justice-department-402074?lo=ap_c1 She's leaving because she's worried about her career. I have a feeling she's just the first.
