  1. Eric Sheffer Stevens deserved to go on to more. He also deserved much better than he got at ATWT.
  2. You can see in that clip why Andy Cohen loves Gizelle. She's very very rehearsed. For all the talk of Karen being a sham (and I'm sure she is in many ways), she feels much more natural, and has more integrity in how she speaks and carries herself. There's nothing inside Gizelle.
  3. I'm desperately hoping some kind of Where the Heart is material will pop up somewhere sometime... (beyond the lovely audio uploaded by Danny Hill)
  4. Watching that GMA thing I couldn't believe they didn't mention Valerie, as it's the most direct comparison.
  5. Me too. I guess this was around the time she was on Broadway.
  6. If they did I would be more likely to watch. The hatchet job done on Jackie in the last 3-4 years of the show is a big reason why I tuned out. Dan would do it - then he'd slam the back door.
  7. Horgan was interviewed about her soap work 3-4 years ago - she had a few ATWT questions. It was a podcast. The person posted here and some of us submitted questions. I remember it mostly because I think mine was about Eileen Fulton coming back and I think she said that happened when she wasn't there (which I don't believe was the case, but maybe I am misremembering).
  8. No clips with this, sadly. Someone in the comments said it was from 9/8/72. No real way of knowing I guess.

  12. Judy Gold (who had a recurring role on The City) doing some random "talk to moviegoers" spot.
  13. He is (or was, I don't know what he does now) a talented writer and comedian, but if people don't realize after tonight that Tom Arnold cares about attention and not a lot else, then they never will. There's a reason he and Roseanne got together. Seeing people on Twitter actually believing all this stuff with Cohen was embarrassing.
  14. Most of the time these things are left offcamera.
  15. I think in this case someone was just giving an anecdote as they ran into her and enjoyed talking with her. I agree that an actor's opinion is ultimately just their opinion.
  16. I think you or someone else was talking about this last year. It's just awful.
  17. The sad thing is by Barbara standards I don't even feel like it was a huge comedown - she had more than her share of questionable or bland pairings and periods (Brian, John, Gavin) before even getting into what Sheffer did to her. Now that was stupid. Absolute garbage.
  18. Thanks. I would say maybe they should have had Fee come in as a recast of Linda Anderson, but I get the feeling that recast wasn't well-liked either.
  19. Mike was one of their most popular leading men with Mark Collier, I think, so I never thought that would happen. Henry was a strange one for me because I did read him as gay, but unlike many I never had a problem believing his relationships with women either. I think because Trent Dawson had his own unique energy, for better or worse. I didn't like what they did with Vienna, but compared to many in the Goutman era she got off easy.
  20. That's what Time would have done for many years. Now we get a Tina Brown-esque hack and patch job. I think that the lack of sincerity is what hurts many in this type of debate. When I look at that cover, not for a minute do I believe Time actually cares. Just as a lot of the people who prop up the media mostly seem to be phoning in their reactions, because deep down, it doesn't really affect them anyway. The days of real grief or emotion in media outlets or in most politicians feel long gone.
  21. That cover looks so cheap and tacky to me. If I had any respect for Time I might be more moved by it than I am. It just feels like a cash grab.
  22. Here's various Magnavox ads with John Bennett Perry looking handsome and sparkly-eyed (about what he did on Paper Dolls...).
