  1. Another partial Loving episode has appeared. @safe this one has a bit of Ilene Kristen.

Lisa Peluso does so much with that scene where Ava is getting ready for Alex to arrive. She truly was born for this role.

    I miss Linda Cook.

I guess this is the recast Rick. I can't remember if I saw him before.

Ron Johnson and Jim Inhofe are two of the most repulsive people in the Senate. Johnson recently made headlines about his callousness toward people dying.

Shameful that Dianne Feinstein is there to give bipartisan cover. I know the left has tried, and failed, to dislodge her for years. I read that she wasn't actually in the briefing, so she may not be involved, I don't know.

Everytime I think the GOP couldn't sink any lower, they surprise me!

Meanwhile, the numbers continue to rise, precisely because the party in power chose to put profit and popularity over saving people's lives.

Even Tucker Carlson is saying Burr should resign and be charged unless he gives justification. They're going to use him as a scapegoat, but I can't say I have any pity for him.

I try not to expect anything but I'm still amazed at just how little Trump is bothering to actually lead. Just going out there and literally telling governors to do everything on their own. And yet we have the likes of Dana Bash gushing over him. The media would sell their children for Trump. They really would.

  4. Well well well...this is what Martha Stewart went to prison for. She was a Democrat, so that meant she was punished and Republicans aren't, but I have a feeling Loeffler, who was already pushed in over the objections of the base, is getting the boot.

Anson's just upset he wasn't asked.  Who cares.  It's a harmless video.

I'm embarrassed to admit I thought this was Potsie on Happy Days 😆

I thought the whole thing was a little cringeworthy, but all the posturing just feels phony, and the usual mindless "eat the rich" blather of a movement populated by trust fund babies. If Gal Gadot wasn't involved I don't think they would have cared as much.

Of course, Evangeline Lilly's within her rights NOT to self-quarantine.  However, what she (and others) fail to understand is that the rest of the nation (and the world) is on lockdown, not necessarily out of a need to protect our own, healthy selves, but in order to protect those who are most vulnerable to the virus (namely, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems), and to give our health care industry a chance to get this [!@#$%^&*] under control without adding more patients to their already heavy workloads.

Now, maybe we are overdoing it a tad with all the hoarding and doomsday prophecies.  But, is it really a strain on our freedoms to practice a little more social distancing (avoiding large gatherings, staying closer to home, ordering more takeout and delivery or just cooking your own meals, etc.) until we have flattened that so-called curve?  I mean, God forbid people actually have to stay at home and spend time with their own families for awhile, right!?

Also, I'm reminded again why I quit watching "Lost" after David Fury left.  ;)

What annoys me the most is people who go around and spread the virus, have their children spread the virus, etc. try to act so noble about it. There was an article a few days ago about selfishness in the US, refusing to isolate and how it is passed off as patriotism.

At least this led to some good gossip:

I just so love watching our Idiot-in-Chief try and play catch-up, don't you?  :(

Seriously, Donald Trump keeps getting outsmarted by a virus; and I don't know whether to laugh about that, or to cry.

I'm one of those strange people who cries more at a TV show or a movie than real life, but I think Josh Gad sums it up well:

Anyway, Tulsi's endorsement is the most humiliating experience Bernie has had in this campaign (well, beyond Super Tuesday). Many of his cultists loved her and fought for her, believing she was his true ally. That she not only dropped out, but also endorsed Biden on the way - wow.

Not sure I believe China's totals.

Oh, please, the infected cow is so out of the unsanitized barn now.

If you live in FL, make sure you vote that man out of office first chance you get.  (That is, if this [!@#$%^&*] going around don't kill you first.)

Florida always ends up supporting this type of Republican, sadly.

I think if not for even the likes of Morning Joe excoriating him, he wouldn't have done this (and even now he's not closing until Monday). It's all about the money pouring in from college students.

  9. I'm glad you brought more details into this whole conversation because I don't really understand how it works. I think Democrats know they can't get away with "free money" (as that's how it would be spun if Pelosi were pushing the idea) so are being extremely cautious. I wonder if Trump is saying all this never planning to give money because he knows it will make Democrats look bad. I'd certainly appreciate some money but I have a hard time believing it will ever happen, and if it does, there will be a kick in the ass coming at some point after.

You're really doing a great job trying to frame this for us - I can only contrast to the idiots on Twitter who help us lose elections every 2 years.

  10. The cultists are eating that up. They're also spending lots of time and energy telling us how badass Trump is and how Pelosi has ruined the Democrats. Oh and of course reminding us how terrible Obama was.

They are desperate for Trump to win. They know most of this is a mirage and they are still peddling it.

  11. In more lighthearted news, Ashley Tisdale had a High School Musical dance challenge video. There were some entertaining moments, like the surprisingly hot guy who played the coach deciding to do his own version.

Then there is Vanessa Hudgens (who had quite a...productive day on Twitter) deciding to just wave her wine bottle around.

And finally we have a random black man being confused as Corbin Bleu by many, many people, even though Corbin has not looked like this in a long time.
