  1. One of the most brutal ratios I've seen in a while.
  2. Her posts are sickening, especially the cartoon with the motorist bragging about running over protestors. That's deranged. Questions should be asked of Bravo about how she was ever let through.
  3. https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/willem-dafoe-saturday-night-live-host-katy-perry-1235156515/ Willem Dafoe is a huge coup for the show - I never imagined he would want to host. I hope they will give him the material he deserves.
  4. Sad to hear about Yvette and Andre. I remember Andre talking a few years ago about his falling out with Anna Wintour.
  5. If they needed to save money I would have dumped Lance.
  6. Some of those women have such noticeable fillers they can barely move their faces or speak...
  7. Thank you, @Brent for such a wonderful, rare treat. Even with the audio distortions, that does not sound like Ann Williams to me. I wonder if it was a temp.
  8. Yes, the work there really stood out from some of the poor acting from Tom and that Vincent guy (he feels like something from a parody). I also thought the actor who played Drew did a good job. I agree that the show is lacking in female characters who can be easy to relate to. Samira might be closest, if they get rid of Francesca.
  9. Very sorry to hear this. Churchett may be best known for his role as traitorous Mitchell solicitor Marcus Christie on EastEnders. He also had a role on Doctor Who (Attack of the Cybermen).
  10. I don't think they would unless Ryan Kwanten wanted to return. Even then I'm not sure.
  11. I would agree, but as I saw someone saying, it's impossible to guess that after Mel Gibson was rehabbed for even worse. It mostly depends on how much support Joss still has in the industry. The part about him feeling he had to have "affairs" (AKA young women in high pressure situations feeling they were meant to sleep with him) made my skin crawl. And it confirms so much about the cultlike vibes of Buffy which you get glimpses of from puff pieces and interviews of that era. It's one of the reasons why I have a hard time with anything from that show after the first 2 or 3 seasons. He broke those people.
  12. Eric Nelsen, who I remember @Vee and others being very impressed by on his AMC 2.0 run, recently had a notable recurring role and was a big fan favorite on 1883, the Yellowstone spinoff. I don't watch those shows, and I resent the people out there in the press who try to shame people into watching them because if they don't they hate "real America," or whatever, but I'm happy to see a soap alum, especially one who doesn't seem to be an [!@#$%^&*], getting such a positive response.
  13. What the [!@#$%^&*]?? They killed off Tess??? She wasn't the strongest character, to put it kindly, but she was likeable and the actress did a lot with a little. I know she and the actor who played Prince are married - maybe they both wanted to leave the show and she agreed to stay longer to finish out her storyline? Now who is Amelie going to be raised by? Her mother is dead. Her father was long gone. Is Chris, who is haunted by his own mistakes as a parent and spends a lot of his time chasing tail, going to raise her???? Or are they going to have Tom raising the child of a woman he's only known about six months?????
  14. I remember checking out Betty Blue on VHS from a public library about 20-25 years ago. Really hard to believe, looking back.
  15. It sounds like MAB, complete with the same sycophants in the bare bones of the soap press lining up to kiss ass.
  16. And as often happens, a gay writer is pushing this. The same writer who told viewers that gay men fake hate crimes for sympathy, gay men live to harass and sexually assault straight men. This is the end result of a pampered non-talent who has had 15 years of gushing, unearned reviews.
  17. It's a shame, because they said that Craig was genuinely very attracted to Nancy, IIRC. I'm never a fan of that type of stunt. The latest, disastrous, version is on the flop Sex and the City revival.
  18. I thought someone here once said she and Jerry didn't get along but I can't remember now.
  19. Didn't Ray have conflict with someone in the cast, or is that just a rumor?
  20. Ann Coulter tearing into Trump to try to boost DeSantis tells you what many in the GOP want going forward. The media loves DeSantis, so he has a good shot, but he talks like a Brady sister...which is probably why the GOP is now trying to cancel debates for the 2024 primary.
  21. @I Am A Swede I would not have known about Gary without your tweet. Almost all the Vicar cast are gone - it breaks your heart. I didn't care for a lot of the last few years of the show, but Gary was a consistent highlight. His going from dislike to grudging respect to love for Geraldine was the show's best story. He was very charismatic and handsome as well. Gutting about Ronnie Spector. So truly special, and, in spite of her decades of success, underrated. I go back to this performance a lot - it's so free and joyous, and has the love of life that Phil Spector tried to take from her, but never could.
