  1. I see the remaining Bernie deadenders are cheering because he held the whitest rally possible in Philly, and are making yet more empty promises about youth power...the same youth who never showed up for him in 2020. Posted and deleted by one of Bernie's cowardly team members. Their obsession with Pete will never leave.
  2. The first, but not the others. Thanks.
  3. Most of it is scattered all over Youtube.
  4. Oh you're right - he was in that therapy story, wasn't he.
  5. @Vee This is a lovely tribute to Malone. You and a few others have had so many insights on Malone's work over the years, enough to where I couldn't begin to say anything that hasn't already been said. I am one of the fans who thinks the 1995 DID story was a mistake, but I do understand the intent. Malone and Linda Gottlieb stepped into a huge creative void in 1991 and remade the show in their image, one of the final creative teams in soaps to be able to fully do so. Characters like Andrew were very dynamic and unique for daytime, and I'll always be grateful for the love and care Malone imbued into him. (the other OLTL story he remade for AW was Marty's rape story, with Toni - pretty badly done, unfortunately). We've had so much loss from daytime lately. In many ways the last few months have felt more like the end of the genre than the last four soaps staggering along over the past decade has.
  6. An unsold pilot with David Lewis in a supporting role.
  7. If I see David Kelley's name I don't watch. That show led so many women to sickness and mental illness.

  9. So glad to see these back @Vee !
  10. Even a memorial service, small (due to COVID) with Victoria and Diane sharing memories and the Woolpack declaring a minute of silence for here would have been something...but considering how the show has treated the Sugdens for decades I am not shocked.
  11. Hot Hero Sandwich, with Vicky Dawson, is streaming here at the moment - won't be on long.
  12. @vetsoapfan I thought you might be interested in this. Tom Fuccello being asked a fan question about why the show didn't let Pat and Paul get back together and instead paired Paul with Dorian. "All I can say is they thought that two happy people together would be boring, but Jacquie and I both disagree. We thought they should have gotten back together, and then they could have created some problems. Paul could have gone astray, or there could have been some other complication with Tony, or maybe bring in a child - Pat and Paul could have had a child. There are a number of ways to keep it complicated and interesting - there were other ways to handle it. It's a shame, because many fans feel as you do, and really liked Pat and Paul as a couple. Also, Jacquie and I always enjoyed working together, and we think it showed."
  13. Currently watching a stream on the Retrontario Youtube channel...it repeats but not sure how much longer they will be going. Anyway, one of the specials shown was a late '70s or early '80s PSA on VDs, and I was surprised to see Wayne Northrop pop up in a segment - he played a guy who was camping with another guy and trying to figure out whether he could have gotten syphilis from his girlfriend.
  14. I never thought SJP and John Corbett had any chemistry, and I never will. Much as I hate what has become of HBO Max, if David Zaslav shitcans this wretched show, I will cheer.
  15. The show lost most of what made it feel different to me - the eccentricity, the community aspect, the complex characters. Everyone became more streamlined, colder, and unpleasant. I also hated Aaron's storyline, especially Jackson's train crash and paralysis - the optics of a proud gay man being brought on the show just to suffer and be put in a wheelchair (and within several months, commit suicide) for the sake of a self-loathing closet case who had hit him (and others) bothered me a great deal. More than anything it was the sendoff of Viv and Terry, who had been on the show for nearly 15+ years before being fired. Viv barely even got an exit (she just went to sleep, drunk, and then died offcamera in a fire), got an offcamera funeral with none of her children returning, and we even got to hear "comedy" about how the vicar had called her by the wrong name. It felt extremely spiteful. I have never forgotten or forgiven.
  16. That period is what alienated me from the show in the long term, but yes, it's even worse now - the last 2-3 years have been unwatchable to me. Beyond the Dingles, the show also has what is I think 20 or more child characters, which is just absurd to me.
  17. Oh look, it's another executive idolized by the dead end left...
