Michael Minor had some charisma when he was on Petticoat Junction but I don't really see it by this time. I haven't watched a lot of this era though. I've always thought Lee Godart and Susan Lucci would have been a wonderful match (haven't seen a lot of that either) but then I heard here that they disliked each other, so I wonder if that affected the work.

Michael Minor seems too old and dull for Erica, even if she was with him in part for her career.

Yes, Relativity, this, Wasteland, etc. I don't think they ever had any of the young demo hits. Homestead became Four Corners, didn't it? If it had lasted more than a month I probably would have given it a try.

It was one of those shows like Lone Star which seemed to get a lot of press support but viewers were not interested at all, for whatever reason. I think ABC just wasn't a network for the hip young primetime fare. This was not too long before their big hit was Millionaire.

Another incumbent gone. Oklahoma Republican Congressman John Sullivan, first elected in 2002, had alcohol problems during his tenure (going to rehab a few years ago), and missed a lot of votes. He was also reportedly not good at constituent service. He was caught napping this year and has lost, decisively, to Jim Bridenstein (who reminds me of Jackie Gleason or Kevin James or Brad Garrett). I think you're doing a good job in showing why people are moving there, and not just them buying businesses. Soaps tend to have the story over and over of some random new pet coming in and buying 50 business, and it's just silly. This makes more sense.

I wasn't that interested in Blair/Skye on OLTL, but it will be a fun change of pace for Blair here. I like Erica's line, "You can call me Ms. Kane." I like that she's not getting into a feud with Hayley, and that they're respectful of each other. I still can't see Jacqueline's photo, but I did see her dialogue, and I thought you did a good job of fleshing out the history of the gallery in a way which still sounded like a human being. I remember when Tad and Lindsay met in the Fan February episode. This should be interesting. I do think that Tad's lines to her sounded like he was reading a long list of expository lines, to keep the story going, not how he'd actually speak.

The Emmerdale story was pathetic and offensive. The other two I get even less, especially Raquel leaving, which was, I believe, a low-key exit.
