HBO: Game of Thrones
All the people here who do the wine tasting, I feel like I'm on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. That must be nice to talk to other people about a show you enjoy and they respond and it's all fun. A few people I'm close to talk about shows we have in common but not a more broad amount of people. I remember trying to talk about TNG to some people in a comic book store years ago and they never had any idea what episodes I was referring to, even though they watched the damn show.

Russia becoming even more anti-gay. I wonder what Johnny Weir has to say. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-202_162-57588738/russian-anti-gay-bill-passes-protesters-detained/ And it wouldn't take much for the US to get this way either, sadly.

German soaps: GZSZ, UU & AWZ
Why is that man in the car with his shirt off? All those scenes with the snake (I thought it was some sort of crap on the floor at first). Is that a usual UU story? Not a lot of blonde men on German soaps.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's NBC right? That must mean they still may have some plans for her. How much of the Beverly Hills feuding do you think is real and how much isn't? Speaking of BH, I was in a drug store and saw some cover which mentioned Kyle's husband and a man. Didn't really care about reading it.

HBO: Game of Thrones
I read that Lena Headey's movie was #1 at the box office. Perhaps this will help with her money troubles.

HBO: Game of Thrones
Thanks for the clip. I wonder if she was going to try to commit suicide, or push him off.

HBO: Game of Thrones
Thanks. I was wondering, as I'd read a comment from someone that in the book, Sansa wasn't unhappy about Tyrion being a dwarf (it was that he was a Lannister), and things like this, or people saying we should have seen her react more to the deaths (although the scene I saw was powerful).

HBO: Game of Thrones
I saw some comments that this scene was done to show an example of colonialism, or the delusion of a white person who feels they have "freed" minorities, etc. Not sure if that was intentional or not.

HBO: Game of Thrones
Sorry if you've already discussed this, TPoS, but I've seen some Sansa fans say that the show gives her short strift compared to the books, and makes her seem too immature, only focuses on the men around her, etc. Do you think that's true?

Keeping Up With the Kardashians
I think he was on there early on - didn't he babysit Kylie and the other one in one of the first season episodes, and they were chasing him with a belt.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians
Do you think the stuff with his son is real or staged?

Coronation Street: Discussion Thread
I think Jason still had good memories of Charlie, but I'm not sure. He was pretty annoyed a few months after this when a woman dropped a baby off at his house, claiming he was the father. Eileen pushed him to accept the child and she became very close to him. Then the woman returned, as she'd realized that the father had been Charlie, who'd used Jason's name when they met in a club (she had never actually seen Jason when she dropped the baby off). Eileen was heartbroken but gave the child back, as the mother (who was now better off financially) wished.

Thanks for the extra details. It was nice to see her so casually dealing with Tony's sexism. Soaps usually didn't handle that issue very well. I saw someone say that the time when Renee and Tony got the test results that they were siblings was DePriest. I thought Smith was still around then. I guess not. Did DePriest write the story where Maggie and Don fell in love while Mickey was being held captive? What did you think of it? I liked the way they handled Daphne's madness in this clip. It's very sad by the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABQed0hH4i8&list=LLk5YpQN83TaCoh2XtNG7cdQ&feature=mh_lolz

DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
One of the rare 1982 clips on Youtube (most of them tend to involve Marlena, with just a few scattered over other channels that have been up for several years). This is a scene with Gwen and Tony. Don't really know much about Gwen. It sounds like Trish was forced to leave town? Sad, rushed exit for a longrunning character. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zblpmjp5rSI&list=PLC682BAA1BC9C5BD8

He was, but the story was written from the POV of her just wanting to kill him to get him out of the way, not because of a direct threat.

You can find some of the clips of Tracy plotting Charlie's death. Here's the kill scene, complete with...um...a sexy dance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvtC9RF62I4
