  1. Thanks. Was this an event the show did to help push the move to an hour? Or was this a while after? Was this after Leslie/Jonas? I doubt Liz would be sobbing over Leslie's shining moment, even if she'd be happy for her. Nice scene though. So was Derek out of the story by this point? Katherine mentioned Cash. I kept wondering if she'd mention Jill to Liz... I kept wondering if those older British people would really give a huge ovation to an American woman just because she can play a piano, but I'm glad Leslie got her moment. It just seemed a little...much. Victoria Mallory looked stunning, even if I wish they'd done a better job with the bottom of the dress. I like the idea (pure, innocent Leslie), and I like the gloves. She looked like she was going to kill Lorie at the end. I'm surprised they never had her go nuts and go that route. Lorie just had to take center stage, she had to make sure everyone knew it was about her, not about Leslie. Even having the silver strip near the slit in the gown, to call extra attention. Yet she was so hesitant while dancing with that French guy who looked like the wooden Frank Ryan #1 on Ryan's Hope (MIchael Hawkins), so in need of making sure Lance saw her. The blue looked great on JLB, as did the earrings. I guess this was her last hurrah as a bad girl. I wonder if fans at the time felt this was a step back. Lance is just kind of...there, duh-faced throughout. Who were the guys with that Simone woman? One looked like Ted LePlat.
  2. Not that this has anything to do with Y&R but in the somewhat distant shots of this Rita Hayworth looks so much like the younger Brenda Dickson, it almost distracts me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdyxUVhoiOU
  3. Thanks from me too. I hope Sony/Corday/whoever release some of that someday.
  4. Brian Madison! That's it. Thank you. I knew I recognized him. He wasn't the best actor but I had a soft spot for Brian and his tight trousers.
  5. It's around for the 1980 issues I have. Can't remember after that. I could have sworn he was off the show by the time this came out. I guess it shows the long lag time.
  6. I like her a lot too. I'm sorry that they couldn't deal with her and recast her with such a bland actress. I think Morgan could have been a fascinating longterm heroine.
  7. I've misplaced the end of the Jerry Lacy interview. When I can find it I'll post it.
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn59gvzpBpI
  9. They would be more qualified than many of the people on TV discussing those topics. I hadn't seen that Letterman segment. Wow. MTP has become the clown car of so-called Sunday talk.
  10. Given how pregnant MTS looked in the goodbye party photos for Jaime Lyn Bauer, she may have been on maternity leave.
  11. The first clip isn't new to Youtube but the second has some material I hadn't seen before. I checked and remembered that this was on the DVD released a few years ago, and that episode is on Youtube, but anyway, this is better quality than some of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8J1SCufjkAU&list=UUMzfXBdkJBnz14rGTDBnVDw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxaP_6wG4AQ
  12. Thanks. Sounds like great drama. Did David ever find out Brooke schemed against his mother? Did Alice know about Laura's rape?
  13. This promo has probably already been around, but it's at 3:30. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65zDIxVO1E4
  14. The guy playing Jerry looks so familiar to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65zDIxVO1E4
  15. Rare stuff here. The highlight for me is Nola as full on bitch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYd8jRFFy00
  16. Travis/Liza promo here. This is a slightly longer, different version than one saynotoursoap has up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYd8jRFFy00
  17. Thanks. I think this showed up 3-4 times? I'm surprised that Jonas' was still around. I wonder when they renamed that and Golden Touch (that wasn't Derek's place was it?) I didn't know Gina was already around at this point. Is Brian the guy Eileen Davidson was on the SOD cover with and then the character vanished? It's always strange to imagine Douglas as a heel. I have some synopses from these years but I'm not sure how many I've posted before. I may just post them all again anyway if I ever get them in order.
  18. What sad, sorry days for Meet the Press. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/chuck-todd-starbucks-chick-fil-a
  19. She played Samantha Walker on Texas so you may be able to find her in some of those episodes.
