I lost all respect for Rosie Perez, and I've always liked her. It's one thing to say you don't know. It's another to try to sing a sad song because a multi-millionaire lost a few gigs.

It was just a few episodes.

I saw that all the women on The View, other than Rosie O'Donnell, were cautious to say a bad word about him, instead focusing on how it's wrong for him to lose his job opportunities, and trying to compare him to Paula Deen or Tiger Woods. Rosie even asked Whoopi if she thought 13 women just decided they wanted to ruin Bill Cosby's life. Whoopi said maybe. I can see why they wouldn't want to take sides, but sympathizing with Cosby while trying to feign impartiality is just kind of tacky and sad. For all the talk of how The View is supposed to "represent" America, it's more clear than ever that they represent nothing more than their rich Hollywood friends, and they have nothing of value to offer. I wish this show would finally get shitcanned.

Irna Philips really knew how to write the troubled undercurrents of the "typical" American family. Grandpa's wide-eyed shaming sessions on Lisa also amuse me.

That's fascinating. I'm sorry that it's hit you personally. I was also there for another reason and saw it at on the topbar or whatever you call it. This is such an uncomfortable topic to discuss, and the thread is barely even about the topic at this point, but this is still the only place I even trust people and their opinions. I went to an article about The Cosby Show being pulled and saw nonsense like, "And they keep the Kardashians on the air!!!" People tend to be so blase about something like this if it doesn't happen to them or someone close to them.

A timely commentary on the world's politics, even if it was about Thatcher: I wonder if or when the UK will get another female prime minister. Clegg, Miliband, and Cameron are all so widely disliked and seen as fake and inept that I keep expecting someone new to break through. Sadly, it seems to be from UKIP. There's a big difference between what some of these women have been saying for years and what someone whips up on the Internet. It was a parody website, so essentially something designed for trash clickbait. I remember reading somewhere years ago that it didn't do as well in syndication as it was expected to do...I'm not sure if that's true now though.

What do you think of Jo/Olli on VL? It must be weird for the guy who plays Olli, as his name is Jo.

One of the accusers was on CNN, and the idiot anchor asked her why she didn't bite his penis. This is a great example of how deluded many people are. They expect TV and movie scenes where the woman always has a way to fight back and magically saves herself, or is saved. They don't have any clue just how often in real life women have no option, especially when they are drugged.

They revealed Daryl's abuse back in season 2 or 3. I do think they're going to stall pairing him with someone as long as they can. The longer the better as far as I'm concerned. Daryl tends to shape his personality based on who he's around, and he really wants to give and help (and when he can't, he turns dark very fast). This is interesting to watch, but I'd rather keep him out of romances.

I don't have it on hand but I think the Daytime TV history for The Doctors (up to about 1973 or 1974 anyway) has Kiser leaving in 1968.

I wonder if that woman who sang some of the music will be back. It's something that all these actors are willing to put their trust in Lynch without knowing what they will be doing.
