  2. Nancy and Darren were one of those couples Paul Marquess threw together at random, none of which worked for me. I thought it also essentially destroyed Darren as a character. Nancy - well, she's always been what she is now, so I guess that's HO's one consistency. Sadly I doubt separating them will make any difference for Darren at this point. HO is just full of utter rot.
  3. Thanks. Great to hear more about him. He was one of my favorites on ATWT.
  4. I remember reading a bit about it but not much. I hadn't known the people she was partnered with. I wonder if they're still in the industry.
  5. Probably Mike's secretary Ann, Greg (the guy Rita and Eve were involved with), and Katie's boyfriend Mark, although I'm not sure if some of them were already leaving via the Dobsons.
  6. Yeah, I wondered about that when I saw it. Susan gave such classy, PR-esque responses even at this time.
  7. This is still the last few months of the Dobsons. Great stuff though. Thank you.

  10. She's one of many people on that show and/or FRFP I have rarely seen (or never seen).
  11. Jessica Tuck was on Scorpion tonight.
  12. Promo near the end of this.
  13. These episodes were cut up and put onto Youtube via clipsets about 8 years ago, but this is the first I've seen of the episodes being posted as episodes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebb3kN5j70Y&list=UU1SN29flGTjicPnAzxJM28A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIPSZlEUcUE&index=14&list=UU1SN29flGTjicPnAzxJM28A
  14. It's easier for directors; even with Woody Allen, who acted in most of his films, it was easier, because he was never portrayed as very likeable. I felt stupid when I read that these have been around for a long time, as I'd never heard about them until a few weeks ago.
  15. It's not just about having bad parents. Society teaches us to heavily identify with celebrities, and TV is such an intimate part of our lives, this is just multiplied. Bill Cosby was an integral part of our lives for decades. Not just with his sitcoms, not even just with Fat Albert. He did Jello commercials for decades. Even shows that most don't remember, like Picture Pages - I loved Picture Pages. We keep these images in our mind even as we forget those who were there with us on a daily basis when we were kids. That's just how life works. I just hope people will not attack the women who are making these accusations.
  16. I seriously question this. Most of the people who are talking about this are people who believe the women claiming to be his victims. I don't think it's about knocking Bill Cosby off a pedestal. I don't know how I feel, because it's mostly accusations and denials. I will say that I find it questionable that Whoopi Goldberg is using her TV platform to cast doubts on his accusers. Unfortunately she's gone to bat for so many celebrities who have done awful things that she's made herself a poor character witness.
  17. It's been a while since I read it but I think Mia quit to be in a Broadway play.
  18. I'd be surprised if either of them do well, but I guess that's their choice. I'd love to see Charlie on something. She could probably have a decent run on something like Game of Thrones.
  19. Patsy Palmer in a Best Buy ad. (Charlie Brooks got the TV or movie role Patsy once had) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2838188/Her-big-Hollywood-break-EastEnders-star-Patsy-Palmer-makes-debut-new-Best-Buy-advert.html I saw some idiot on DIgital Spy (that place is a pit, why do I still read there) cackling about how busted Robert Kazinsky had more success than she did from the start. It took years for him to get any major roles. Deluded. And of course he's going to do better than she will, so the comparison is bizarre.
  20. The general idea (I think Diol mentioned this) was also that a recast Blair effectively took Angela's role on the show and in Cord's story.
  21. Diol was, sadly, let go. They scrapped the story because Chris Cousins and Karen Witter wanted to leave.

After the tears they cried for other famous people accused of horrific crimes, why is any producer letting them talk about Bill Cosby now? This isn't a news show. It's a cheap-jack daytime filler only known for women screaming at each other. I'm cringing at this, especially the undertone of how hard it is for them. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/watch-the-view-bill-cosby-rape-allegations
