  1. Really quick episode today. The only parts I cared to watch were about Chanel, and Bonnie falling down the elevator shaft. Greg Rikaart, the guy playing Kerry, and Al Calderon were all completely awful in the brief moments I could stomach watching their terribly written scenes for this inane so called story. The gays on this show make me want to die, but no more so than the gays writing it. As a writer you must have an immense talent to have Deidre Hall, Judi Evans, and Lauren Koslow in a scene and have every single second be complete trash. I enjoy the show outside of this mess, even the Arnold story, but I despise this absolute crap.
  2. Same here. All for the stupid, here's the movie that made the most money award. I hate that they kowtowed to stupid people.
  3. What the actual? He was a beautiful man and following him on Insta, he seems like an awesome guy and one of the gays to boot! However this happened, an awful tragedy has occurred. Thanks for posting.
  4. I still remembering watching this live at home as a kid during the Pay-Per-View days. F*cking iconic!
  5. You just know at some point there'll be a long lost son coming out the woodwork.
  6. Next 5: David Morgan Eric Mills Dale Kristien Babette Props David Blackwood
  7. I love those type of completely unexpected wins. Another great moment in a solid show.
  8. She was who I was happiest for amongst the winners. Such a beautiful moment to see. Also happy Wicked lost all the real categories.
  9. You just broke the news to me. What the actual f*ck!?! She was extremely talented. Completely floored.
  10. I honestly am not minding the Arnold story so far. I mean, Rafe has already seen him so this story is going at warp speed anyway. Bring on the reveal we saw in the DoD promo, and Dan F (not spelling all that) is good at being a bastard so I'm being entertained. I've never been a fan of Shawn and Belle as a couple because of how utterly forced and oversold it always was, but the way their being written now, as actual adults with faults and regrets really helps bring the show down to earth from all the craziness.
  11. The Horton Christmas was great. They should have gone all the way classic and had a breaking the fourth wall speech of thanks from Susan Seaforth Hayes, who was especially wonderful in this episode. I found it curious that they showed Jessica's ball, but not Marie's. And Mike and Jeremy's, but not Lucas'. I despise having Ciara's kids called Bo and Addie. Making them middle names, of course, but they have already been stripped of having any sort of identity. If the show lasts long enough for them to be brought on as young adults, they would not go by those names anymore. Heck, make one of them trans and have the other change their name in solidarity or something. If this show was written as well as it was in it's psycho-sexual and emotional height, Kristen could be such a fascinating character, and Stacy Haiduk certainly has the chops to sell strong material, but as soap has become whittled down and generic, she is so tiresome. The Lani scenes made her seem (a little) less of a cartoon. She should be devastated to love Brady, without him wanting her, tired and aware of the heartbreak it causes her to be rejected again and again, seeing how much the man she loves loathes her, knowing rationally that she should move on from him, not knowing how to do that, but suffering at the yearning of her daughter to have her parents reunited, the child she's always dreamed of having, the child she thought would solve all her problems of loneliness and feeling unloved and alone. There should start to be real emotional and physical associations with this tiredness to fight for something she doesn't believe in anymore because she feels like it's her job as a mother. Then a new man enters her life and Rachel schemes against them, like she's done with Brady and Ava, making Kristen confused and unsure whether this man has pure intentions or is somehow just using her for his own purposes. It could all be so fascinating and gripping and gut-wrenching if they wanted it to be.
  12. New 5: Glen Vincent John Zee Barrie Ingham Dan Perrett Gerry Gibson
  13. Just spitballing, but it could be fun if Brennan seduced Joss/have an affair with her to make Carly's head explode. I'm thinking it'd be reminiscent of Dorian/Cassie and the character John Martin played on OLTL. Those classic confrontation scenes where Dorian goes on about him being a coward randomly popped into my mind so here we are. Emma could find out about the affair first and use to against Joss somehow, or just to mess with her. Could be fun. And ultimately, lead to the the exits of Brennan and Joss.
  14. Bringing back Rafe2 is random as hell, but I'm surprised no one mentioned that his return probably answers the question as to how Johnny learns EJ raped Sami from the DoD promo. I'm not really mad at it, tbh. Anyway, I didn't watch HIgley's horrible reigns much, so I had no idea Rafe2 being alive was a ret-con. I just bought it as more exposition, in this case much needed, that this show loves to expound on. To my recollection, JPL was completely subtle today. RSW is playing their newfound rivalry completely one-note ass, so maybe that's why JPL knew to tone it down. I didn't mind it with Johnny, because Johnny literally cheated on his wife, but I wish Alex could have had some nuance for the cousin (is that what they are?) he's known all his life. But yeah, I am team Philip against Xander, who I enjoy more than Alex, so literally there's no way I'm team Alex and his ugly shirts. Best he leave them off for the foreseeable. Paulina is so annoying. Obviously less than Leo, maybe more than Sarah depending on the day.
  15. Thank God my Italian-Canadian family never dared do all that with the damn fish. They had a seafood salad that I always skipped, leading my siblings/cousins to fight for who got my portion. The power I had then! (No disrespect intended, Abc) Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! I look forward to New Years Eve when I will be getting zooted into another dimension as we transition to the new year. As it should be!
  16. Excellent! New list: Merritt Yohnka Johnny Haymer Harrison Douglas Deck McKenzie Nicole Patrice Kramer
  17. 4 months of episodes to go. I actually am enjoying the show for the most part, until Leo shows up and tries my patience. I don't think it'll be too much of a slog since I thought the promo material looked promising and it was still all his work, right?
  18. How did that go? Are they on good terms? Sorry, lapsed viewer here. Sometimes I read the recaps, sometimes I didn't.
  19. Brava to whoever wrote Wednesday's episode. Melissa Reeves again proving why she is the only Jennifer, exuding warmth, love, affection and breaking your heart at the same time. A true matriarch by any other name. The Abby mementos were a great button to put as a period to this story. I honestly hope Abby gets a good long rest before she is ever brought back, though I honestly don't even think that's necessary. I'll be sad to see Mark seemingly go if indeed he'll be spending all that time in prison. The Greene family are a hit in my book, as is this whole Cat story, retcon or not. I don't know when I felt as positively for a new family on this show. Belle was the MVP of today's episode coming in to save the sexy doctor at the perfect time. It's too bad we couldn't get a Leo/Belle scene out of it so that we could start establishing a good aunt/nephew relationship on screen. A moment between them could have been done instead of the awful Holly/Leo scenes. And the Sophia pregnancy (hopefully scare) should have waited until after Christmas. New Years would have been perfect, actually. Regarding Belle/EJ, does Sami know anything about that yet?
  20. Yes, named Hilda von Bingham. Thanks for updating us, Jason.
  21. If only directors existed on DAYS again, JPL would be near flawless as Philip. I had a feeling Philip and Xander would get 50/50. Let Philip hire Kate back at Titan and set her free, I beg! I hope Belle's facetious statement about one of them killing each other wasn't foreshadowing, at least in Philip's case. I want him on the show permanently, please! I was waiting for Belle to finally mention Xander has tried to kill half of her family members. He is a psychopath through and through. I wish more people could treat him with disdain as much as Belle gets to. I just hope the writers don't feel the need to have her apologize to him once the truth about the letter is revealed. As a Horton, I want to like Sarah, but with how much I detest Linsey Godfrey as an actress (was she this annoying on B&B), her being someone to root for while being with someone like Xander is insane. They should have played into the psychology more of how much Xander hated seeing her in the wheelchair and how the possibility of her not recovering clearly disgusted him. Alex back in one of his ugly shirts. Why do they do this to RSW? Judging by his insta, he seems to be wearing suits a lot lately so I'm going to guess he'll be back at Titan soon enough. At least this lie brought back neurotic/insecure Stephanie, jumping at(on) her first chance to make herself feel better. Love to see it. But why were JPL and AK kissing like they were two straight actors forced to play gay?
  22. Slick or @jam6242 or anyone else, do you know if the singer Bill Lockwood (pictured below) is the same Bill Lockwood who recurred in the late 70s as Marcel the pianist?
