Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I noticed Marlo went on their first cast trip, she must have a bigger role. I still can't wait to see what happened to repair her friendship with Nene. That will be interesting to see on screen because typically in recent years once Nene appears, Marlo stops appearing. I wonder if she's still feuding with Kenya, who seems to be fine with Kenya from what we know.

Dawn is also leaving, but Dawn (as well as Brandi Glanville) will be on Celebrity Big Brother.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC is just magic this year. I really hope the ratings reflect how good it is and that the other shows try to mimic what they do here. The only problem is that I don't think the other housewives have as interesting personal lives as the OC ladies so the standalone scenes may not work as well. Even the most dull housewife (Meghan) fits in well by herself and in the group scenes. Whoever casts this show needs a raise. Speaking of casting, I LOVE Peggy. I like that they no longer just cast a new generic blonde who will fit in perfectly. Everybody has such different personalities and lies and Peggy is no different. She seems like such a strong woman and has such class and wealth and I just LOVE it. I could tell by her meeting Shannon that she won't be amused by her dramatics and that is probably why she gets into with the other ladies/

Basketball Wives on VH1
LMAO!!! I hate the endless friends too and as time goes on I actually like the newbies better, but it's just too much. They should've just scrapped the footage from the first few episodes and started the season when Malaysia entered. Hopefully for next year they have a more solid group to work with. Also, what happened to BJ's ass? She was always around and now I haven't seen her. Did she go to Miami? I only saw the first half of the episode so far. And I agree that Jackie's crazy ass is amazing. I live for her and she can do no wrong no matter how wrong she is. Tami was tweeting how she is basically the face of LA which I agree with. Tami also said they need to pay Draya what she wants and get her back because she was so important to the LA franchise. I agree with Tami. If they could get Draya back next year I'd also keep Malaysia and Jackie, plus Tami, Evelyn, Shaunie and two or three friends tops.

My thing with Shannon is, I wish Vicki and Kelly would call it out accurately when it comes to the abuse. Vicki did not lie. She stated a fact and David pled guilty to it, end of story. I hate that they keep saying Vicki lied when we know that isn't the case. I haven't seen tonights episode yet but I can't wait. I love Kelly lol. From what I've heard tonight was a keeper.

I find it very strange that Nene is back and icing out Porsha from filming, yet Marlo is also back? I even saw a picture of Nene and Marlo. I thought they hated each other and she refused to film with her?

With Kim back on RHOA I wish they'd go back to how it was in early years when a housewife can be added midway. We know that from the moment she joins she'll be a full-time housewife, so why not add her to the credits and call it a day? Not a big deal but I do miss that. If she's gonna have talking heads and everything you may as well. It's season ten so go all out. Now onto the important stuff...RHOC continues to just be perfection. The last few years have just been the gold standard in my opinion. Focusing on this year, the cast has been nicely refreshed but no drastic changes which is par the course for this franchise. They rarely make a misstep in casting. I love that this season has more of a focus on individual scenes and less group scenes. Some of the series seem too by-the-numbers by constantly forcing the entire cast together at this lame events to create friction. Since everybody has family to film with and interesting family lives we get a nice balance on this franchise. That way when they DO come together it's more interesting and there's more anticipation for the viewers. I like the smaller groups we're getting so far. Shannon is just hilarious as she becomes unhinged. I don't understand why she stays on reality tv but I'm thankful for it. I LOVE Lydia as I did her first season. She's a good girl, a [!@#$%^&*] stirrer, she's fun, she's funny and has a cute family. Peggy is still fresh, but I love what she's bringing to the show so far, a dose of diversity and glamour and something different from the other wives. Kelly was a favorite of mine last season and I still love her. I have watched the promo for next week at least 15 times lol. I dread the day she makes up with Shannon. Tamra is irrelevant to me. Vicki is still a guess. Meghan has grown on me so much since her horrible first season. This show is giving me everything I need. Not looking forward to the bland and boring Dallas, but I can't wait for New Jersey. If the reports are correct they may have finally gotten their act together with this upcoming season. Time will tell. Hopefully BH has a decent season as well.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Season 6 was pretty dull overall, especially with Aviva doing everything in her power to remain relevant. Season four gets flake but it was very entertaining overall. I understand it got very dark, but the ratings were good and that reboot was too drastic. It just made it seem like the show was such a failure which I'm sure didn't do much to bring people back the following year.

Nothin'ButAttitude I agree with that in terms of making it more balanced, but for LA I would've kept Jackie and Malaysia and the two Angel's. I thought they brought something different and were interesting. Not everybody needs to be from fight club. I especially enjoyed Angel Brinks who could bring the drama, but also had strong family moments so she had a nice balance. It'll be interesting to see where it goes next year. It's clear they made a mistake with how they launched this season with the intention of not having Malaysia or Brandi on it at all. They were only added after the first couple months of filming went poorly. That was always a mistake. Malaysia has literally delivered since episode one. She should've never been removed.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I've only seen about half of RHOC so I can't comment just yet except to say it looks like another exceptional season for the little engine that could. I see the first episode is higher rated than the highest rated episode of the current NYC season. I love how well this show does with very little promo from Bravo. Looking forward to it! Now as for that trailer for Dallas....horrible. As a Texan whose been to Dallas many times it is just terrible. They do not represent Dallas or Texas which is an incredibly diverse city and state. I'd be okay with it if the ladies were interesting, but they just aren't. I'll give it a go with the first couple episodes, but that trailer didn't excite me. It looks like more of the same.

I'll miss Eileen. I liked how sane she was and thought she brought class to the show. I also will miss her beauty. She may not have been the most fashion forward, but she is just gorgeous to look at. I do believe it was her choice and not her getting fired because Andy loves her and even has her on his Then and Now show. I fully expect her popping up and a potential return in the future.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's too soon to confirm anything, but for the first group event in Vegas I believe, these are the girls we know went for BH: LVP, Rinna, Dorit, Erika, Kyle, Adrienne, Camille and newbie one hit wonder Willa Ford (I Wanna Be Bad was her one hit). Many speculated Brandi was also back but it was Willa in the picture not Brandi. Looks like Eileen might be gone considering this was their first major group event and she wasn't there. I'd also expect ether Adrienne or Camille back full time if they're being included on a trip this early. We shall see!

The Politics Thread
I keep managing to catch Nichole Wallace filling in for him on his show and I LOVE her. I enjoyed her on The View and thought they were fools to let her go and I love her hosting on MSNBC. I'd love for them to fire Brian Williams and let her have that timeslot. I know she has her own show already, but I feel she deserves a good timeslot based on what I've seen. As for their other issues, I didn't mind Greta, but I don't understand the purpose of hiring her. Why haven't they given Joy Reid a shot at a weekday show yet? As for Megyn Kelly, she's simply not famous enough for her own shows. If bigger, more mainstream names couldn't do it, why do they think she can? At best she should've been added as a co-host of the third hour of Today so the audience can get to know her and put her on Dateline, not her own show. They put too much pressure on a person who is an unknown to anyone who doesn't watch Fox News. Yes that's a high rated network, but with a very specific audience that isn't necessarily tuning into NBC News or MSNBC.

Basketball Wives on VH1
Now this I agree with! I think they all varying degrees of crazy, but I still love most of them. As crazy as Jackie is she is probably my favorite from the LA bunch with Tami being my favorite from the mothership. I think the moment I fell in love was when her and Brooke got into a fight over a hypothetical question. I hate that it happened during the time VH1 stopped showing the fights because it was obvious Brooke just demolished her, but I give her props for still going all these years after already getting an ass whoopin.

Seeing this thread on the first page just made me sad again knowing I'll probably never see this. I know at least 5 episodes are in collectors hands, but nothing so far.

Basketball Wives on VH1
In general I think kids are off limits, but I do think there is a difference between the two. First of all, Jackie shouldn't be calling anyones daughter a hoe with her golden child sleeping with Draya's man just a couple seasons ago and her reputation. Evelyn's daughter may have a reputation as well, but she's completely separated from the drama that it was a low blow whether it's true or not. Jackie's issue with her daughters is a storyline on the show so I'm more willing to accept it as fair game. We saw the first season where she acted like her dark skin daughter didn't exist and when she DID appear she called Jackie out for shunning her due to her looks. I have no problem with people calling Jackie a bad mother for that and for not supporting her grandchild after he was burned because even she can't give a logical explanation for all of that.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I know they said they aren't doing an album, but if it's a success it would be the natural next step. I do remember them trying to get Tiny back in the day, but I think the benefit now is that her reality show just ended and was well received. In general I don't care who it is, I just want new blood. This is the only show they stick to the same cast and it can get a little stale at times. I want a Victoria Rowell or someone famous to come in and be added to the mix. Kim Fields wasn't a total success, but I appreciated that she brought something different. According to reports it looks like season ten won't have any new cast members. The closest thing is the return of Nene and Kim and Shamea possibly getting a peach.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Did anybody catch Xscape on the BET Awards? That's a pretty big deal for them and they were EXCELLENT! They look better now than they did in the 90s. I could see this reunion having legs for Kandi. At the very least they're going to have a hugely successful tour and I wouldn't be surprised if their album does well. Honestly, if Bravo was smart they'd try to get Tiny as a housewife in addition to the spin-off show.

Star Trek returns with streaming series
Basically I'm not looking at it as Star Trek I'm looking at it as a spin-off or sequel, not a prequel. If I do it's just a mess. From the costumes, to the conflict change, new aliens, etc. it just doesn't fit with TOS. It does look good though which is why I'm going to give it a shot. I just wish they'd admitted it's a prequel to the movies or just made it a sequel.

I've always found Carole to be enjoyable. I think her and Heather were the strong additions. Aviva wasn't really watchable until she revealed herself as a self-obsorbed idiot and after that she was too "on" for the cameras to be engaging. Heather I found a little boring at times, but I liked her strength, wealth and family interactions. She was the full package.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The NYC reboot didn't work because it was poorly executed. They should've never fired Alex for one and their idea was to act like the new wives were always there so they didn't introduce them. It was very jarring to watch. That will forever be a bizarre choice.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Keyna isn't my first choice, but I feel the crossovers are overdue with these franchises. I always wanted Jo to move from RHOC to RHONY now that she seems to be doing well in New York. They probably would never move Kenya since she's part of the "black" franchise, but I'd be interested in seeing how she interacts with the New York ladies and if it changes anything.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think Mica is from the DMV area, but she's lived in Harlem for years so NYC is the only real option for her. Potomac is going to continue being a problem because it's hard to get women in that area to agree to be housewives. The real reason DC wasn't renewed is because they had difficulty scouting people after the Salahi drama and Potomac is basically a reboot of that show so it's going to have the same issues. Another potentially interesting thing is that Kenya Moore has been making cryptic posts that suggest she could be leaving ATL. Her husband lives in New York and it's possible he could move or they could split their time, but if she did end up leaving that show and moving to New York I wouldn't be surprised if they put her on NYC.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHONY has a largely good cast but needs a shot in the arm. I'm surprised they haven't looked at other Bravo shows, or NY based reality shows to poach talent. I'd love to see Mica from Blood, Sweat and Heels for example as a new HW. She was interesting and always seemed like a better fit here than there since she's closer in age to the NYC girls. Tinsley and Jules before are just boring. They'd be fine as friends, but not as actual housewives. NYC needs to think outside the box when it comes to casting. They try to keep everything very vanilla which is limiting the shows potential.
