A day of conversations in Springfield...

Cedars:

Liz is with Reva waiting for her doctor.

The door opens and Dr. Noah Chase walks in.

Reva gasps, "Noah."

Noah looks at her, "Reva..."

Liz looks at him, "Dr. Chase? It's me Lizzie Spaulding?"

He looks at her, "Little Lizzie? Oh my God! How are you sweetheart?"

Liz hugs him, "I'm great! How are you?"

He looks at her, "You aren't sick again?"

She shakes her head, "It came back 2 years ago but I'm much better now. Thank you. I'm just supporting my friend Reva."

Noah walks to Reva who is still in shock, "Hello Reva."

Reva stares, "Noah. I haven't seen you in so long. I can't believe my eyes right now."

Liz looks at her watch, "I'm gonna step out and let you guys catch up with each other."

Liz walks out.

He walks towards her, "Hello."

She is in shock, "What are you doing here Noah?"

Noah looks into her eyes, "I'm here to save your life Reva."

Reva stares in shock.

Spaulding Mansion:

Dinah and Olivia are outside at a little table.

They are drinking tea.

Annie and Mel walk over, "Hello Ladies."

They stand up.

Olivia smiles, "Mel! I'm so happy to see you."

Dinah hugs her, "Welcome home."

Mel grins, "Thank you. Annie invited me to hang out with you guys. I hope that's okay."

Olivia smiles, "Of course it is honey."

They all sit down.

Dinah looks at her, "So how was your trip?"

Mel grins, "We had so much fun. We went to New York and I met his mother Hope. She is very sweet. Then we went shopping and he flew to so many romantic places. It was great."

Olivia nods, "I hope you still have time for that if he becomes the new CEO of Spaulding."

Mel looks at her, "What do you mean?"

Dinah sighs, "I think what Olivia means is that becoming CEO can be stressful. I mean I remember when I Alan Michael was CEO last time it about drove him nuts."

Mel shakes her head, "Well thank you guys for being concerned but you are thinking of the old Alan Michael. My Alan Michael is much more calm, and gentle now."

Suddenly Alan Michael runs over, "Mel! What the hell is this?"

Mel jumps at the sound of his angry voice.

Police Department:

Mallet's office has had some renovations.

Mallet is putting his stuff back in it.

Marina is out at her old desk cleaning it out.

Mallet walks out, "Hey. It's great to see you."

She looks up, "Hey. I'm just cleaning out my desk. I'll be outta here soon don't worry."

Mallet shakes his head, "I wish you'd reconsider. We'd love to keep you on the force with us."

She shakes her head, "No. I'm not a cop anymore."

He sighs, "Come on the Chief now."

She looks at his office, "Yeah it's nice. My Dad never had an office like that one."

He nods, "Well you know we got a lot of money now. So this whole place is going to benefit."

She sighs, "That's great Mallet."

He is confused, "Is something wrong Marina?"

She shakes her head, "No. I just thought that you of all people would feel guilty about using the money."

He looks at her, "Me? Why me?"

She scoffs, "Well the donations we got were the reason that you got your job that you have right?"

Marina walks away leaving Mallet confused.

Country Club:

Ed is waiting at a table.

Alexandra walks over, "Hello Ed. It was nice of you to invite me out here to meet you."

He smiles, "Well thank you for coming."

She nods, "Of course. Actually I wanted to talk to you about donating some money to Cedars."

Ed nods, "Well that's great. I'll talk to Charles about it and we'll set everything up."

She sighs, "Well I'd like to get the media in on it then we can meet up for it all."

Ed sighs, "So this is apart of your campaign as the CEO of Spaulding Enterprises isn't it?"

Alex nods, "Well of course. I need to win."

Ed sits back, "I just thought you were trying to be a good person without the publicity."

She scoffs, "Isn't good anyways. The publicity is just a plus for me. I should get something out of the deal."

He sighs, "You're better than this you know. I remember the Alex who lived at our house after she was thrown out of the mansion."

She nods, "And I appreciate it. Now it's time to get back to my real life. I'm still Alexandra Spaulding."

Ed is somewhat disappointed.

Beacon:

Susan is cleaning up while Marina is out.

There is a knock on her door.

She opens it to see Gus, "Hey. How are you?"

He grins, "I'm good. Can I come in?"

She lets him in, "Marina is out."

He nods, "I saw her leave. I wanted to talk to you about some things that I've been thinking about."

She looks at him, "Sure. What about?"

He sighs, "Um... Olivia asked me to take our relationship further. To a more romantic level."

Susan sits, "Oh. So now your just-a-friend wants to be more and your friend with benefits has to be out of the picture."

Gus sighs, "I didn't mean it like that. I haven't said yes to her yet. I'm still confused about things."

Susan shakes her head, "What things?"

Gus sighs, "I don't know. I'm not sure I'm ready for a new relationship. If all my feelings would be in it."

Susan gets up, "Of course. Of course."

He is confused, "What?"

She sighs, "Well let's see. I don't think you have lingering feelings for Natalia. You never had feelings for me. So we know what this is all about don't we? You still have feelings for my mother."

Gus stares at Susan.

PART TWO:

Country Club:

Alexandra can tell Ed is upset.

She looks at him, "Ed? You're the one who invited me out here. What did you want?"

He sighs, "Well I'm not so sure."

She sits back, "Maybe you were hoping to see the more sweet Alexandra. She's in here. But I'm busy trying to save my family's company so I don't have time to be sweet."

Ed sighs, "Why are you going after CEO, Annie, Alan, Alan Michael, Phillip, Lizzie. They all are going after it. Can't you just trust them to take care of it?"

She shakes her head, "Well the barbecue is coming up. Do you trust Rick and Michelle to cook the burgers?"

Ed laughs, "I guess not."

She nods, "Then you see what I'm talking about."

He sighs, "Are you gonna be at the barbecue?"

She nods, "I'm thinking about it."

He looks at her, "It would make me very happy to see you there Alexandra. Very happy."

She grins, "Well how can I say no to that?"

Ed and Alex smile at each other.

Beacon:

Susan is getting frustrated with Gus.

Gus gets up, "Susan I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. You know that don't you?"

She sighs, "You aren't. I don't have feelings for you Gus. We didn't date. We just had sex whenever we needed it."

He nods, "And it was great. We were going through a lot. Coming off of addictions. But I think we're better now."

She nods, "I agree. And right now Marina needs me."

He smiles, "I think it's nice that you are helping Marina while she is going through all of this"

Susan sighs, "I just need to know. Are you gonna be trying to go after my Mom again?"

He sighs, "Honestly. I don't know."

She nods, "Well you better be sure before you do anything. Because she deserves to be happy. Don't ruin what she has with Cyrus unless you are sure that you can be the man for her."

Gus nods, "I understand."

Susan takes his hand, "A kiss goodbye?"

Gus kisses Susan.

The two start to lay down on the bed.

Cedars:

Noah sits with Reva.

He goes over information, "I've been checking out your case and going over everything..."

She shakes her head, "Don't do that. Don't just sit there and act all casual. It's me."

Noah sighs, "Would you prefer if I took off my shirt and told you that I missed you?"

She laughs, "That would be good."

He sighs, "I did miss you Reva."

Reva looks at him, "How did this happen? How did you find out?"

He sighs, "I found out that they needed a specialist in Springfield. I was afraid it was Lizzie but then I saw it was breast cancer. I decided to take it on. Then I read the name."

She smiles, "Reva."

He nods, "Reva Shayne. You're single?"

She laughs, "That's all you think about?"

Noah laughs, "I miss that smile. Reva I don't want you to worry. You need to stay confident."

She nods, "You really think you can save me?"

He shakes his head, "No. But I'd be happy to help you save yourself. You're Reva Shayne."

Reva is so happy to see him.

Police Station:

Marina is carrying her box around.

Mallet follows her, "Okay what the hell are you talking about?"

She sighs, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped."

He nods, "But you did. And you said that the donation given to the police force played a role in me getting my job. What did you mean by that Marina? I don't get it."

She looks at him, "You really don't do you?"

He shakes his head, "No."

She sighs, "Just forget I said anything."

Mallet shakes his head, "I can't. Marina what is this about?"

She sighs, "The money was donated by Spaulding. From Annie Dutton."

He nods, "Annie Dutton. Why would Annie Dutton do that?.... Oh Marina. You don't think that Annie donating this money had anything to do with her friendship with Dinah?"

Marina sighs, "We're probably wrong."

He is confused, "We?"

She nods, "Just cop talk."

He scoffs, "Everyone thinks my wife bought my promotion?"

She shakes her head, "We are probably wrong."

She walks away.

Mallet keeps thinking about his conversation with Dinah earlier.

Spaulding Mansion:

Alan Michael looks furious.

Mel stands up, "What is this about?"

Alan Michael scoffs, "You are acting all buddy/buddy with Annie Dutton and her partners."

Mel shakes her head, "Dinah and Olivia are my friends. They were in our wedding party."

Alan Michael nods, "Yeah that was then. This is now. We have to focus on the company."

She sighs, "What about being newlyweds."

He nods, "Okay just guilt me all you want. When you're ready to be serious I'll be inside."

Alan Michael goes away.

Mel shouts, "Alan Michael?"

Annie gets up, "No honey. Just let him have his space."

Mel sighs, "Our first fight as a married couple."

Dinah nods, "The first fight is always the hardest."

Olivia sits Mel down, "It'll be okay."

Mel sighs, "I really didn't think the CEO thing would bother him this much."

Annie rubs her back, "It'll be alright."

Annie, Dinah and Olivia look at each other as the comfort Mel.
