Bauer Home:

The Bauers are getting ready for the barbecue that is coming up.

Rick and Ed are in the kitchen.

Rick looks at Ed, "Are you serious? Bill is going to ask Michelle to marry him?"

Ed nods, "Yes. But don't tell her anything. I shouldn't have told you anything."

Rick scoffs, "Why?"

Ed sighs, "You can't keep a secret."

Rick laughs, "I can too."

Michelle walks into the kitchen, "Hey guys."

Rick turns, "Hey Michelle. How's Bill."

Ed elbows him.

Rick clears his throat, "Well I mean are you going to the barbecue with him this year?"

Michelle stares, "Uh yeah. I'm with Bill now. Why do you ask?"

Rick sighs, "Well I'm taking Roxie. So just making sure everything was cool with that."

Michelle nods, "Yeah it's 'cool'. What's not cool is that our Dad is going to be single."

Ed shakes his head, "It's only going to make it that much easier for me to focus on the burgers."

Michelle picks up the phone, "Will you just call Alexandra Spaulding and get it over with?"

Ed stares at his daughter.

Farmhouse:

Jeffrey unlocks the door to the farmhouse.

He and Cassie walk in.

She looks around, "Wow."

He nods, "Well Liz did a lot of renovations."

Cassie sighs, "Well she would have to since I burned the place down and everything."

Jeffrey nods, "Is it hard for you? To see it like this."

She shakes her head, "It's weird. Because it actually looks similar to the way Hart had it. Before I did my renovations. It's nice."

He nods, "Is it difficult?"

She sighs, "I've been thinking about Hart a lot lately. Maybe it's because I've been thinking about RJ. How is he?"

Jeffrey sighs, "He is good. Staying with me and Marah. He doesn't know you woke up yet."

Cassie nods, "Good because I want to get things together before he knows. I want to be the best mother I can be."

Jeffrey nods, "Well I think RJ will be happy."

Cassie turns to him, "Someone should be."

He is confused, "What?"

She looks at him, "Jeffrey we don't need to pretend. I know that Marah seems to hate me. I'm just confused as to why you, her boyfriend, is being so good to me. Your ex."

Jeffrey doesn't know what to say.

Cedars:

Liz is leaving another room.

Reva bumps into her, "Oh I'm sorry."

Liz hugs her, "Reva! Oh I'm so happy to see you. I haven't seen you much since, well everything."

Reva looks at her, "Why are you on this floor? Seeing an oncologist? You aren't sick again?"

Liz shakes her head, "I'm just getting my check up. I'm sure that's why you are here too."

Reva nods, "Yeah."

Liz smiles, "Well think happy thoughts. Because you are going to be just fine. I'm sure of it."

Reva is shaking, "Yeah."

Liz notices all of her papers in her file, "Wow you brought a lot with you. What's that for?"

Reva looks at it, "Uh... I..."

Liz looks at her face, "Oh Reva... Oh God."

Reva nods, "I'm seeing some specialist today. I'm not sure about their names. But my cancer may be back."

Liz hugs Reva.

Spaulding Mansion:

Alan Michael and Mel are back from their honeymoon.

Alan Michael carries her over the threshold.

She smiles, "You don't have to keep doing this."

He grins, "I'm thinking about doing it every time we enter a room now."

Annie walks over, "Well we have a lot of rooms here so you might want to rethink that."

Alan Michael nods, "I know how many rooms are here."

Annie nods, "Sorry."

Mel gets down, "Annie. Thank you for allowing us to have our wedding here. It was so lovely."

Annie nods, "It really was. I was honored to have it here."

Alan Michael shakes his head, "Why should you? I mean it's not really your house and won't be for much longer."

Mel shoves him, "Stop. Annie thank you very much."

Annie looks at Alan Michael, "Why don't you go tell the staff that you're home so they can get you room ready. And I'll show Mel around."

Alan Michael scoffs, "I can show Mel around."

Mel sighs, "It's fine honey. "

Alan Michael walks away but isn't happy.

Annie takes Mel's hand, "Come on. Time for girl talk."

The two women walk down the hall.

Alan Michael has a bad feeling.

Mallet and Dinah's:

Mallet walks in the door, "Dinah? I'm home."

Dinah runs down the stairs, "Thank goodness. Where have you been? You were supposed to be here earlier."

He nods, "I'm sorry. But I'm glad you missed me."

He goes to kiss her but she gives him a quick peck.

She walks away, "You can watch the baby because I have to get to work now. I'm running late."

Mallet shakes his head, "What are you talking about? You said you got off from the station already."

Dinah gets her stuff, "I know. But I have to get over to Spaulding. I have some stuff for Annie."

Mallet scoffs, "What? Dinah I knew you were helping her out but I didn't think you were really working there."

She sighs, "Well we are trying to make her the CEO of a company. It's not something I can just phone in Babe."

Mallet sighs, "Dinah you are never home anymore."

She nods, "I know. I love you. We'll talk about this later."

She heads to the door.

Mallet steps in front of her, "No. We need to talk about this now before it gets out of hand."

Dinah is surprised by Mallet

PART TWO:

Farmhouse:

Jeffrey doesn't know how to answer Cassie.

He looks at her, "I don't know what you're talking about."

Cassie looks at him, "Don't deny it Jeffrey. Marah looks at me like I'm the devil. And she has a right too. I did some pretty terrible things to everyone in town."

He shakes his head, "You had a tumor. Your brain wasn't under your complete control. Not to mention you were mourning your deceased daughter. You aren't a monster."

She nods, "I know. Thank you. But Marah still is apprehensive about letting me back into her life."

He sighs, "It's not just that. She's apprehensive about letting you back into RJ's life."

Cassie pauses, "Oh. I didn't even think about that."

Jeffrey nods, "Yes. She is very protective of him."

Cassie looks at him, "She can't keep me from him can she?"

He shakes his head, "Legally no."

She nods, "Well I'm not going to force RJ to come home. But I know my son. He loves me and I love him."

She walks into the next room.

Jeffrey hopes she right.

Bauer Home:

Michelle is putting the phone in Ed's face.

He takes it away.

She smiles, "Call her."

He puts it up, "I'm not going to call Alexandra Spaulding. I don't even get what you're talking about."

Michelle grins, "You know exactly what I'm talking about. You have been flirting with her for months! Make your move Daddy."

Ed shakes his head, "Alex and I are just old friends."

Rick smiles, "Come on! Alex may be older but boy she has always been a little hot."

Ed looks at him, "Son please don't say things like that."

Rick laughs, "Come on Dad. What do you have to lose?'

Ed sighs, "Nothing but..."

Michelle smiles, "See! Then go find Alexandra and ask her in person. It's so charming."

Ed sighs, "Will it get you two brats off my back?"

Michelle shakes her head, "No but it's a start."

Ed puts down his food, "I'll be back."

Michelle claps, "You won't be sorry Daddy."

Ed leaves.

Rick hi fives his sister.

Spaulding Mansion:

Annie is showing Mel around.

Mel looks, "I haven't really been in here very much."

Annie turns to her, "No?"

Mel shakes her head, "I've always tried to stay away from this place. It gave me the creeps."

Annie looks at her, "Does it now?"

Mel turns to her, "Actually no. I don't know why but there is something different about it."

Annie grins, "Maybe it's more calm now that it's my house. You know what I mean?"

Mel nods, "Kind of."

Annie can see she is going somewhere with this, "Well I mean, for Spauldings this place is stressful and has bad memories but for me it's just a big house you know."

Mel laughs, "That's nice."

Annie puts her arm around Mel, "I'm going to meet Dinah and Olivia for lunch. Would you care to join?"

Mel nods, "Actually yeah. We can all catch up."

Annie walks Mel away.

Mallet and Dinah's House:

Mallet is standing in Dinah's way.

Dinah is confused, "Mallet what are you doing?"

Mallet sighs, "Dinah we need to talk about this. You are never here, you hardly spend anytime with Anthony. And when I got here you couldn't wait to get away."

She nods, "I'm sorry honey. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so rude. I love you and Belinda, and Anthony. You guys are my whole world. I love you all so much."

Mallet sighs, "Then why are you never here?"

Dinah looks at him, "I'm doing everything for you guys. I want everyone to have a happy life."

He shakes his head, "Our life is fine. Besides we promised we'd work out our schedules so Anthony wouldn't need a Nanny."

She stares, "What are you talking about? He doesn't have a Nanny."

He nods, "What do you call Maureen?"

She scoffs, "My sister."

He shakes his head, "You treat her like a Nanny. She spends more time with Anthony then you do."

Dinah backs up, "I can't believe you said that. Just get out my way Mallet."

Mallet sighs, "Don't go."

She looks him in the eye, "I love you. But I'm not letting any man stand in my way."

She gets by him to the door.

He looks at her, "Dinah be careful. Or you'll lose everything else in your life."

Dinah leaves.

Cedars:

Reva is in her room with Liz.

Reva goes on, "So now I'm getting some second opinions. They have a doctor I'm meeting today."

Liz hugs her, "Well I'm going to be here with you."

Reva smiles, "Thanks Liz."

Liz backs up, "Um... so this doctor you are meeting. It would be Colin would it?"

Reva shakes her head, "No. Well... I mean I don't know who it is they didn't give me the name yet."

Liz gets nervous, "I just don't want to see him right now. I can't see him right now."

Reva shushes her, "Calm down honey. I don't think it's Colin. I mean they'd tell me if a doctor I knew right?"

Liz nods, "They didn't tell me when he was my doctor. But I'm not to worried about."

Reva nods, "Well what are the odds that a doctor that we shared that one of us dated would walk through that door?"

The two laugh.

The door opens.

They both turn.

They gasp.

Liz turns to Reva, "Oh my God."

Reva stares, "Noah?"

Dr. Noah Chase is there.
