GET SB ON TV!!!!!

(EXT: The Lair)

---Gina walks into the surprisingly crowded bar. She looks around and finally spots Lily, sitting at a small round table toward the far end of the bar. She approaches her daughter and takes her seat with her, ordering a gin & tonic from the waiter.

"I can't believe the business in this place- I didn't even realize it was still open....." Gina muses.

"It wasn't, actually. It had closed down about a year ago, but then this mysterious, anonymous buyer moved in on it just a few months ago, renovated, and re-opened it a few weeks ago, keeping the name intact...."

"Whoever it was...it looks great. So why did you want to meet here? I'm always happy to spend time with you, Lily- but something in your voice told me it might be more than that......"

Lily explains that she thought Gina might be feeling a little down, after Keith & Elizabeth's big announcement, and could use a night out on the town. Gina appreciates the sentiment, but tells her daughter she's fine and comments that the men that frequent The Lair wouldn't exactly be her bag. Lily covers, saying that there's plenty of wealthy businessman that frequent there after-hours, which would be right up her ally. Gina again is skeptical of Lily and turns things around, asking how she's doing. Lily doesn't answer her, as she is obviously distracted. Gina turns around to see what she's looking at and see's Warren Lockridge and Angela Capwell sitting down for a drink.

"Suddenly, this picture is becoming MUCH clearer to me......" Gina snarks.

---Across the bar, Warren and Angela order their drinks and take their seats at a lower-lying table. Warren asks Angela what exactly has her so upset.

"It's Ted..." she answers.

"Eh, Capwell, I should've known. What's he done now?"

"I'm not sure, actually, maybe nothing...."

"He's obviously done something if you're this upset, Angela."

Angela tells him of the phone calls she made to Ted in New York. She explains that he lied about having seen Laken twice throughout the conversation and was blatantly trying to hide it from her. Angela also tells Warren of the rockiness they've been going through in their marriage, ever since Sophia's death. Warren tells her that it's natural for someone to go through a period of depression, and take some of that depression out on their spouse. Angela says that it's gone beyond that- they haven't even made love, and now he's lying to her about his ex-girlfriend.

"Who happens to be my sister, Angela. Ted's a very married man. There is no way that Laken would get involved with him in that way- she's just not that kind of person...."

"I'm sorry, Warren, but frankly, I don't know her very well, so how do I know that for sure? I could believe you and take your word for it- Fine. But that doesn't excuse Ted's behavior or his lying to me about her. If he were honest in the first place, I'd have no reason to be upset. But he wasn't honest, Warren, not in the least. Even if they haven't made love, if they aren't having an affair....I still......I have to wonder if he's cheating on me in his....... in other ways..."

"What other ways? What other way is there?"

"You're really going to make me say it? Alright fine. In his Heart, Warren. He's cheating in his heart..."

"My God, Angela Cassidy Raymond Capwell- was that a soft side I just saw?"

"Don't tell anyone...."

(EXT: West Palm Beach, FL- Maureen's Hotel Room)

---Mary approaches the door to Maureen's room. She hesitates before knocking, but pulls herself together and does. Maureen opens the door, and greets her. She and Mary take a seat at the small table in the room. Maureen offers her something to drink and gets them each a bottle of water. There's a short period of silence between the two women.

"I half-expected that you wouldn't come. Or if you did, your friend Mason would be with you...." Maureen says

"Actually, he's downstairs at the bar. He insisted that I not come to the hotel alone, but I wouldn't allow him to come up here with you."

"He's very protective of you."

"Yes, he is. After losing me once, and everything Mark did to keep us separated...........Oh my God, you probably don't know, I should explain...."

"There's no need. I'm well aware of everything that my son did to you Mary and I cannot express to you how sorry I truly am. Even though he was still your husband at the time, he had no right to hide you like he did, to keep you from Mason and the rest of your loved ones, even if he did save your life."

"He saved it, alright, and made sure that when I woke up, I'd have no chance at a future with Mason......" she stops herself before becoming overly emotional.

"It was a cruel, methodical thing he did to you and I am sorry for it. But there's some things that need explaining, I believe....some holes that I'm sure you must want filled in."

Mary agrees and asks about the story that Maureen told her, about Mark killing his father. Maureen explained to Mary that as abusive as Jim was toward her, she didn't care. It was how he treated Mark and the way he made Mark feel about himself that upset her. Maureen tells her that Jim came from an abusive, alcoholic father, who had died years before. He had no siblings, and his mother had died as a child, so he had no living relatives. Rather than having a traditional funeral and burial, she decided to instead have him buried in the woods behind their home. She hired two men to bury him, buying the lowest-grade casket possible. She did her best to shelter Mark from everything, but he did see what the two men were doing one day and asked her point blank about it. She told him that it was actually an deer that was being buried, but knew she probably was unable to convince him of that. Maureen tells Mary she lived in that house for years after, and in fact, still lives there today. She explains to Mary that she was stunned when one day, 19 years ago, long after Mark had left home, she found that Jim's casket had been dug up!

---Edmund, Sophia, and Pamela all sit around the dinner table as Christine serves them each their soup course. Pamela comments on how delicious it is.

"You like it Addie? It's Edmund's favorite recipe........or at least it was." Sophia says.

"It very much still is dear. I'm just glad our guest is enjoying it as well."

"Oh I am, believe me, I am. It's all....quite delectable. So, Loretta. Tell me about you." she shoots Edmund a look and he smiles back. "How did you meet your husband here?"

Sophia launches into a detailed account of how she met him in Santa Barbara, when they were in college. She tells how immediately taken she was with him when they met. Sophia says that she even remembers everything Edmund was wearing the day she first saw him- and rattles off his entire outfit. Pamela looks at Edmund and he nods in affirmation.

"My, for someone who's been in a coma for so long, you have what seems to be a photographic memory...." Pamela muses.

"Mrs. L always did, Mrs. C" Christine says, re-entering the room to clear the plates. "I always told her she should be an investigator or a cop, because she always paid such attention to details...."

"THANK you, Christine- that's really quite interesting. It just surprised me that, after being little more than an invalid for so long, that a person could wake up with such a clear head. That's all." Pamela shoots back.

Sophia politely tells Pamela that she sees where she could think such a thing, especially after what she's been through, but assures Pamela that her mind is clear and that she's never felt better.

"That's......so.....wonderful for you dear, really it is."

"STEAK COURSE" Christine announces.

Pamela rolls her eyes and then sees Sophia and Edmund are watching her. She tries to cover, smiling politely at both.

(EXT: West Palm Beach, FL- Maureen's Hotel room)

----Mary asks Maureen why someone would want to dig up her long-deceased husband- more importantly, why would Mark want to. Maureen tells her she wondered the exact same thing. She knew that it had to be Mark and was determined to find out why he did what he did, so she tried tracking him down and was stunned when she found out that he was presumed dead- had been, apparently, for some time. But when reading the article, it dawned on Maureen why Mark had dug up Jim's body......

"My God..." Mary realizes "THE BONES!"

"Exactly" Maureen replies.

Suddenly, they hear a scream from the hallway.

"THAT SON OF A B!TCH ISN'T GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!!!!!"

Mary looks at Maureen. Maureen hurries to the door, with Mary behind her trying to stop her. Maureen flings open the door and they see Mason standing on the other side of it.

"MASON!" Mary says.

Maureen looks at Mary and then at Mason. "WELL" Mason says "Is SOMEBODY going to invite me in"

OMG I am such a Mason fan and this episode was the absolute best yet for me. Of course I have been thrilled with all of the episodes, so that just tells you how much I FLOVED this one!!!! When Maureen said the casket had been dug up, I just about screamed the same thing "THE BONES!!!!!" Brilliant, just brilliant!!!!!! I never saw that coming, but I really should have. It explains the whole church thing so completely. I was really wondering how you were going to do it and now I know. I bow to your supreme plot twisting skills. You are the master. I will be reading the next episode so fast that I will have to go back and read it again. Great job!!!!
