FOX Reality’s first docusoap will follow Rob and Amber

After gracing us with their presence on The Amazing Race 7, and of course on two seasons each of Survivor, Rob and Amber are again returning to reality television. This time, they’ll be followed Real World style for their own series on the FOX Reality Channel.

The Rob and Amber Project will “follow the couple’s move to Las Vegas and Rob’s attempts to break into professional gambling, while Amber does her best to be supportive in the risky venture,” according to Variety. You have to love that, yet again, Amber is passively following Rob. Apparently her career as an author of a crappy book won’t make for good television.

FOX Reality’s David Lyle told Variety, “We’ve grown up with Rob and Amber. We’ve seen their first kiss on ‘Survivor’ and watched their wedding. They’re likeable and competitive. What Rob’s trying to do now, it’s probably every guy’s dream and every girl’s nightmare.”

The series will debut in January, and I pray my cable system doesn’t pick up the FOX Reality Channel before then.

I must be living under a rock because I did not know their wedding was televised - THANK FRIGGIN' GOD I DIDN'T!

    They have to be two of the most annoying reality people ever. Just the thought of them together makes me want to be in a room with Mike Boogie, Johnny Fairplay, Tonya, Veronica and Rachel from the Real World and Jerri Manthey.
