ATWT Lucy Feels Dusty's Wrath

Featured Replies

It looks like Dusty is lashing out at anyone that has seemed to cross him. Yesterday, he lashed out at Paul; looks like today, he'll take his anger out on Emily, as well as Lucy, who he blames for Jen's death.

The jig is up for Simon today. What will the Aussie have to say to get himself out of getting hit by Mike?

The story of Maddie continues...Will she open up, or will she keep shutting everyone out?

Catch you all later in the day :)

Overall, the memorial service was good; however, I think the editing for it was horrible. I felt like there were a lot of scenes cut out for the dumb stuff on the island. Also, I hated how when everyone went up to speak, the camera would only pan to Dusty and nobody else. I'm sorry...he was her husband, but there are a lot of other people in her family.

FYI, Christopher Goutman directed today's episode.

The minister could have mentioned Adam and Nikki too, even though they weren't there.

Also, why did they have to pair those scenes against the stupid stuff on the island? Were those scenes even needed? They should have cut those out and added more to the service. They waste airtime like that when they couldn't even show all of Lisa's speech? Sometimes this show pisses me off.

The island crap was off putting. How many times can one be stranded?

I thought Bob was rude to Lucy. What did he want her to do? Jen was intent on leaving the hospital. She left! Nobody made her. Maybe I'm ignorant, but I would've gotten on a soapbox and told all these people where to go.

Hal's scenes got to me. I started thinking these scenes reminded Ben too much of his mother's passing.

I actually felt for Barbara.

I don't know why they want to show something as minor as Mike finding Katie with Simon so important..

Sorry, but Dusty fell in love with Jen during the course of months, however, Jen's family have been there by her side for years, so I find focusing on Dusty's "pain" pathetic.

Dusty is pathetic. He talks about Jen as if he were the only one who loved her. Lucy will be giving him a knot in his pants by next week...

Jen Ferrin had great hair. I kept focsing on that flaming red hair. I wonder what shampoo she uses.

Will broke my heart.

Maddie is annoying me.

The island was so stupid. They weren't really stranded and it didn't change anything between Simon and Katie, so what was the point?

THANK YOU! I would have had to tell all these people to kiss my ass TWO TIMES and don't miss the crack. Lucy must have said at least THREE times, that she shouldn't leave. Jen was determined to get back home to Johnny and Dusty. How is it her fault? It's not like she could legally hold Jen there. She left of her own free will against medical advice.

I can't stand Dusty and his dirty looking face. Always threatening to ruin someone or "knock them into next week". He's a damn bully and a self centered one at that. He was Jen's husband for less than 24 hours and he's been acting (and they've been treating him) like he was the only person in Oakdale that loved amd cared about Jen. Come on. And he really needs to stop with his undying love for Jen. Wasn't Meg the love of his life and just living with him a few months ago until he found out she kept quiet about Johnny when Paul intercepted her on the plane?

I give Lucy until September, bygones will be bygones and Dusty will be trying to get under her labcoat. <_<

I liked her hair too. I like it when it's curly. I think it's naturally wavy like mine.

Mine used to be red like hers, but I've streaked it blonde for summer.

I always loved it whenever she told Paul where to go. Hee

Jen Ferrin is a great actress.

While I know that Bob is Jennifer's uncle, he of all people should know what it's like to tell a patient they shouldn't leave the hospital, but they do what they want, and leave the hospital anyway. I know it was all plot driven having Lucy be the one to keep an eye on Jennifer, but it would have been nice if they would have had Bob release Jennifer, thinking that she was well, only to realize that she is not.

The reason why I say Bob: Because I would have loved to have seen how Bob would have handled learning that his niece died due to an error. Of course as careless and stuck -on himself, Dusty would be all up in Bob's face.

And speaking of Dusty "Dirty Douche Bag" Donovan? He wouldn't know true love it it slapped him in the face. First he did whatever he could to break up Rose and Paul; then here comes Lucy, and he fell in love with her; threw a hissy fit when she decided to go to college, because he wasn't "sure" of his feelings and waited too late to propse to her; then it was Meg, who was nothing but a live in bootie call; then all of a sudden, he's with Jennifer. The main problem with Dusty is in all his relationships he feels that he has to control them; tell them what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.

In terms of trying to hit it again with Lucy; oh, yeah, "Mr. Know it All" is going to try to get with her, especially if Damian is hovering around her; just another way to get in there to boss her around and tell her who she should "watch" out for...Sounds like deja vu, since he was yapping to Meg and Emily both to steer clear of Paul.

I think Bob was upset b/c Jen is his niece, and who would want to be locked up in a hospital during a loved one's funeral?

However, I don't blame Lucy for what happened. It was Jen's decision to leave the hospital. She's the one who screwed up. As if leaving early to take care of your child is a valid excuse. There were a lot of other people who would have taken care of Johnny. The child needed his mother to be healthy, not hacking her lungs out like she was during his coming-home party. She couldn't even hold him or feed him for too long w/ out getting tired. What kind of care is that for a child that just got out of the hospital?

So Dusty can go ahead and blame the whole world for Jen dying. It's not going to help anything. If Jen had followed doctor's orders, she'd probably be home right now taking care of her son; instead, she's dead. :(

Wow, I didn't think of Damian and Lucy....I like it! I wonder how Lily would feel.

Lucy needs an ally who isn't so damn stuck on cannonizing Jennifer. She could be a !@#$%^&*]. She started in on Lucy from the moment she got back to town and she's in heaven with her great hair because she acted like an ass again. This is Jen's pattern.

1. She got into a car accident w/ Parker because she was on her cell whining.

2.She slept with Bryant's cousin/friend and gave him her virginity because she was..bored. Bryant dies because of it.

3. She tried to set up Craig as a danger and that backfired. She got dumped and lost Johnny.

4. She left the hospital against doctor's orders and now she's dead!

Lucy did the right thing, as stated by Bob today. However, he still has the right to be snarky to that little !@#$%^&*].

-The whole memorial fell FLAT to me. After the intense, five star drama we had last week, today's episode was pretty bland.

-WHY do we have to get a montage from Dusty's perspective? Couldn't TIIC have done something where Barbara remembers Jenn's birth, show some clips from her kid years, skip over Kim Onasch and show her designing with Babs at B-R-O?

-I cannot BELIEVE Lusty (ew!) 2.0 is already being hinted at. For chrissake, Jennifer's memorial is going on and already Lucy is making dovey horny eyes at him! Hate.

-Kim kinda cracked me up today. She had some dramatic expressions during her eulogy.

-Paul must die! I'm pissed her turned his little speech into an OBVIOUSLY direct shot at Emily and how he'll never give up his kid.

Die [!@#$%^&*], die!!!!

-Why didn't Emily sit down? She looked like an usher.

-Pissed that the memorial was cut off to show stupid Casey and stupid Maddie. I like them, but having their drama today was unnecessary.

*****************************************************************************

-STFU Mike! I can't believe Katie is whining when the lazy !@#$%^&*] only had to take a few steps to save her pitiful self. Had she gotten off her fat ass and cut her BS she could've found salvation herself.

-Where ¡s Vienna?

That's why Jen and Dusty pissed me off. They acted like they were two saints when they most certainly weren't.

First off, Dusty returned to Oakdale b/c Barbara paid him to break up Paul and Rose. I think that as well, as his dealings w/ the mafia and whatnot, makes him no better than people like Paul. And besides, he's just a plain loser: look at the way he treats women like Meg, Emily, and Lucy. He's almost violent w/ them. He blames Meg for her involvement in the baby switch and then gets all in her face about it. And then he pretty much threatened to kill Emily once. And Lucy...well, I don't understand why he was so pissed off at Lucy when she returned, but he kept grabbing her arm and making threats to her.

And then Jen was always painted as the victim when Passanante became HW last year. Since then, everything that Jen has done has been a pity-fest. Before then, when Jen was played by that really annoying girl, she was a little pretentious brat. I still remember that scene after Craig and Barbara got married when Jen was naked in her mother's bathtub drinking champagne and making out w/ Bryant. The girl was so pathetic back then.

So yeah, neither of them are any better than the people they critcized. I'm sorry that Jen is dead. It was really sad seeing her pass away, especially since she comes from a big family on ATWT. But she and Dusty were annoying together, and in some strange way, I'm glad that they're over.

True about Katie. She used to be a top notch schemer, but she is so inept and dense these days.

Kim was funny with her exxaggerations. I thought she was gonna start singing.
