Up to December 14th, 1992 🦩 "The end of the affair?" 🔷 Today's commentary will be focused mainly on the Viki-Sloan-Clint triangle. Or as I like to call it - "Anna Karenina in Llanview". 🔷 Like a glass of cold water splashed across her face, Viki suddenly sobered to the reality of what she was about to do couple of days ago. If she went to Vermont with Sloan, that would have meant the end of her marriage and a deep wound inflicted on the entire family. She knew she couldn't do it to the kids. She was their anchor, their constant, their sense of stability. Therefore, she made the difficult choice to end things with Sloan. At least, that’s how it seems... but I suspect that they are merely prolonging the drama and the emotional turmoil. They are taking their time with this storyline and I am thankful. In this moment, it’s hard not to empathize with Clint and side with him. He is a devoted family man who has endured his wife’s emotional affair with another man, yet he still desires to be with her. 🔷 Another thing the writers accomplished, which I wanted to share with @DRW50 specifically, since I recall our conversations about them transforming Clint into a homophobe. Well... they fixed it. And they did it in a manner that felt genuine and not forced. At Sarah's funeral... Clint recognized Billy's significance to the family... reached out to him, almost apologizing for his previous attitude. We saw a transformed Clint, who had respect and admiration for how Billy has defended himself and his impact on his son Joey. This was an incredibly moving moment that allowed me to forgive Clint for the ugliness we witnessed months ago. For some reason, it's not hard to forgive Clint. Perhaps it's the talent and charm of the actor... I simply can't hold a grudge against him. I genuinely LIKE him and have recently found myself rooting for him more than I do for Sloan and Viki. 🔷 Something interesting, that I loved and could relate to. The writers are giving Luna this fascinating internal conflict. She is tormented by anxious thoughts that she might lose everything she loves and holds dear. It seems as if she cannot bear to be happy and fully connected with Max. She has begun to treat him like a fragile child rather than a mature man, so terrified of losing him. I appreciate how the shadow of past trauma resurfaces to trouble her. Personally, I believe that after enduring certain traumatic experiences, people often find it challenging to accept happiness. I see this in Luna, and it's a potential for great drama. I think this will truly test her relationship. Yet, on the negative.... they have transformed her into this domestic figure eager to prepare meals for Max like a 50s housewife... the GIRL POWER Luna is no more, and I miss that... Yet, I am beginning to appreciate this new version of her as well. 🔷 After falling down the stairs (which I'm still doubting if it was not her throwing herself) Blair had no other option than come clean about her lie. But then a new opportunity presented itself to her. Larry, the doctor... just assumed she had a hysterical pregnancy and she embraced that immediately. Now nobody can tell her anything and she is safe till at least Cain or Alex make their next move. 🔷 And of course... Bo is still deep in his mania and rage... his PTSD is incredibly intense and quite frightening to witness - he actually wrecked Andrew's cabinet after Tina brought Sarah's clothes there. Goodness, everything in this show ultimately causes pain to Holy Andrew. Speaking of the reverend - he and Cassie are discussing sex as if he's some sort of truck driver rather than a man of God. Then they ended up on the floor... all sweaty... if you know what I mean... Oh my, Andrew... I suppose Marty was onto something. The reverend definitely has a HEALTHY libido! God doesn't judge! Overall - 10/10 - what can I say... PURE LOVE. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clip of the day Viki chooses her husband. (at least for today)

Anyone who knows me knows that I *love* club music. I attribute that to my dominate homo gene, but I love good club/dance/techno music. Anyone have any favorite club music that they're currently addicted to? Currently on my mp3 player (which is all club, all the time, and accompanies me to the gym every day to drown out that nasty classic rock & hip-hop urban they keep playing).....
*Lots* of Global Deejays (love me some Flashdance), anything done by Almighty, and lots of other stuff.
I just discovered as salsa/disco mix of Michael Buble's "Save the Last Dance for Me" mixed by Ralphi Rosario that's quite infectious. And there's a new mix of Nikki French's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" done by Diva Deejays that's quite slamming.
And, of course, there's the Tony Moran remix of "The Wings" which is the theme from "Brokeback Mountain". IMO, there's nothing gayer than a club mix to the theme from BM.
