This is infuriating. I want Janelle to stay in the game just as much as anybody else, because she entertains me, but this plain and simply isn't fair. Yes, perhaps Howie's button malfunctioned -- whatever. So, the solution for this week should be to either have TWO heads of household, like in week one, or have a re-do of the competition for ONLY the people who were left in the HoH competition when Howie was elminated. Janelle and others had already been eliminated beforehand! This is bullshit.

If Danielle gets evicted because of this [!@#$%^&*], I'm seriously never watching this again. Yes, it's a guilty pleasure, and I love it. But it's just not as fun to watch when you know that things are getting jacked up behind the scenes. SUCH bullshit. Such, such bullshit.

It's not bullshit.

It's what they should do EVERY TIME they have a [!@#$%^&*] up in the HOH competition. It's happened way too many times and it's about time they fix the problem.

And if Danielle won the coupd'etat, than Janelle's probably fucked. But, IMO, the coupd'etat shouldn't be allowed to let you evict the HoH, imo.

I think this is Marcellas or Erika's week to go. If Danielle goes on the block, she has the votes to stay, IMO. I'm not at all worried about my other girl.

And I still see a BB8. Call me crazy, but I see a BB8.

I don't like the idea of this coup d'etat thing or whatever the [!@#$%^&*] it's called. It completely beats the purpose of having a Head of Household. Especially if the HoH can be nominated in the end! What the hell? In other words, there are essentially two HoH competitions each week -- one for HoH, and one for the coup of [!@#$%^&*]. What [!@#$%^&*].

Well, it just makes the HoH completely POINTLESS. Why have one competition for head power just to have another competition for head power that overthrows the first person in power? It's a pointless routine. Who'd want to win HoH, knowing you'll have no power when the moment of truth comes? Everyone would just throw the damn thing and go for the coup of crap, therefore making HoH comps a waste of time.

OMG! I love when people get all crazy with their thinking.

The show is NOT rigged, the ratings are not awful and there is no bad publicity.

I am sure in the contracts it states a clause that BB producers can redo compeitions if they feel the equipment, etc was not working properly.

Why would they be able to sue?

Just because you do not want Howie or Janey to win does not mean you can accuse the producers of rigging the game. Come on people.

That is just ridiculous. If they wanted to rigg it, they would have kept Kaysar in..he was the overall favorite by America to win.

It was clearly a case of the equipment not working. Anyone could have won the HOH..EVERYONE got a second chance. Now they should not be allowed to nominate Erika, I agree there.

I'm sure there is, but not after a winner has ALREADY BEEN NAMED! Erika was named HoH live on the air. She was given the goddamn title. I didnt want her to be HoH in the first place. But the fact is, I want the game to be fair. This whole thing is totally fucked up. The fair thing to do would've been to skip that question, allowing Howie to stay in the competition, and just go on to the next question. But they didn't. They named Erika HoH. It's not fair to Howie OR Erika. It's not Erika's fault that [!@#$%^&*] fucked up. And it's not Howie's fault either. I'm just pissed.

I dont think you quite understand it. First of all the Coup is NOT a 2nd HOH competition. Its a puzzle that will be given in clues over the next few days. Second it will NOT happen each week. Its a one time twist which the winner can use anytime within the next 3 weeks upon winning. I think it will be interesting to see the reactions but at the same time Im scared of it. At this point we dont even know if the HoH can be nominated and we probably wont till Thursday

Ohhh, alright. I thought this was a permanent thing. And I was really pissed. If it's a one-time thing, though, no problem. Why'd Julie say it would change the way the Big Brother game was played forever, though? LoL

hype? She also said that the HoH that James won would be the most difficult one ever.

As far as this, CBS messed up. I dont think they could have just went to the next question with Howie bc the equipment was faulty. Who's to say it wouldnt mess up again on the next question? Boogie and Marcellas also noted errors with their equipment but werent as vocal bc they were safe with Erika as HoH. I dont think CBS will use buzzer equipments anymore. The one that replaced it is non-mechanical and there's no discrepency on answers with it, so they had to change it. I think the best thing would have been either to have co-HOHs or given Erika immunity for the week

then what would be the point bc Erika and her plans would be screwed anyway. The HGs arent even supposed to know about the coup and BB already has plans for that twist.

This is complete BULLSHYT! Thanks Big Brother for f-ing up the game. Honestly, I don't think there is any fair solution to their mistake (perhaps they should make both Janelle and Erika co-HOHs like the first week, but I don't give a fig)... it just shouldn't have happened in the first damn place. I can't take this show seriously from here on out. I don't even want to talk about this show anymore. And I demand they refund my money for the live feeds.

OMG...it was a mistake...it was faulty equipment. It is NO ONES fault. It was a malfunction. The only fair way to handle this, unless the rules/contracts say otherwise is to redo, everyone gets a second chance and Erika is not to be nominated...now that is enough said!

    • Creatively, he probably should have stayed with The Doctors, where he stood out as an antihero lead. Not sure what happened with GH. He didn't have the same impact. Was it bad writing, not clicking with co-stars? Didn't they gave him a boat load of money to join GH in 1976? Was Mark Dante just a toned-down version of Nick Bellini? Were they basically the same character?
    • All I can think of is if a lot of big names were leaving around that time she wanted him back as a stopgap, although I have never seen any real evidence that he was popular with GH viewers.
    • I loved watching Shanice hand Leslie her ass and finally shutting her up. It was so good. I also love Martin & Smitty's family.  Anita has to have some sort of plan giving Leslie the tickets to mail for Winterfest. She has to be setting her up for a fall. It's pretty obvious to me Vernon is not cheating with Sharon. I think Sharon is helping him with his terrible singing voice for Winterfest. I still believe Bill & Dani are endgame but I love Dani & Andre too. I am definitely enjoying this story. And making Hayley a black widow is a nice twist.
    • Sorry for the spam. Wasn't sure where to put this, it's from Tony Geary's husband's IG. Tony watching Genie and Maurice on Mo's show.
    • This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
    • She told Vanessa to "DOUBLE her offer" on the Jarvis house.  The Jarvis family accepted the doubled price.  Assuming the house has an appraised value of $2,000,000, she's theoretically paid the Jarvis family $4,000,000 for the house.  The bank would loan Leslie 80% of the appraised value ($1,600,000), and Leslie had to pay the balance with cash at closing --- $2,200,000.  She only had ONE million.  Where the hell did she get the rest?!  And now she's got contractors working on the house all day & half the night.  Who's paying THEM?  I keep thinking all this will crash around her.  Either that or the writers have absolutely no idea the limits of a million dollars.  Sounds like a "lot of money", but it obviously ain't when we look at Leslie's spending since she got that million dollar check in August.

    • Vernon is an idiot. Why would he have Sharon in the same hotel that Leslie is staying at?
    • Yes, that out of the blue return was odd. Maybe GG found a forgotten clause in the contract he signed when he was wooed to ABC and they were forced to take him back! Like George Reinholt he talked about the contract that promised him primetime roles. But it was loaded in the networks favor. I think it was Gloria Loring that re-signed at Days on the promise of primetime opportunities, but that was all it was- she was put up for guest spots and TV movies but not necessarily guaranteed that she get the role.
    • I still am baffled by why Monty brought back stunt hire Gerald Gordon in the early '80s out of nowhere for like a year. I haven't found anyone who can come up with a thing he did in that second stint of note.
