(BANG) - Katie Holmes is reportedly exhausted and "constantly in tears" since giving birth to daughter Suri - sparking speculation she could have the baby blues. Friends say the actress breaks down and cries and seems "emotional and very tired" according to Britain's The Sun newspaper. Katie, who gave birth last month, has also been spotted looking tearful at the Beverly Hills mansion she shares with her actor fiancé Tom Cruise. Last year Cruise slammed Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants for post-natal depression. One friend told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Katie told pals it's natural for new mums to experience strong emotions." Meanwhile, Katie isn't wasting time getting back into shape. The beautiful brunette has reportedly met with Sue Fleming, the owner of Buff Brides, a company that specialises in getting women toned for their nuptials I wouldn't wish depression on anyone, but this is cosmic irony in its purest form. They need some counseling from Dr. Phil and possibly some time in court with Judge Judith Sheindlin Have you read Down Came The Rain: My Journey Through Post Partum Depression? Shields deserves a Nobel Prize for that text alone! Fabulous woman-before the Tom Cruise/Brooke Shields feud, I never cared for her that much as an actress or a person....but now I truly hope to meet her someday and receive an autograph from Shields herself! On a side note, congratulations to Brooke and husband Chris for their newest addition to the family (baby Grier-courtesy of http://imdb.com/name/nm0376260/bio) I say when they get hitched that she dump him at the altar and leave him a trail of vitamins to the nearest family court house!
