I've noticed that, for the past week or so, I have to log in daily, even though I've checked the "remember me" box. I don't get any error messages; I just keep finding myself logged out every day. I use Chrome.

Is this a current issue, as in has it happened today? Do you clear your browser's cache or cookies often? Do you visit using incognito or private browsing?

Yes, it happened again when I came to the site about 20 minutes ago. I don't clear the cache on a daily basis, more like once every month or two. No, I don't use incognito or private. The issue doesn't seem to happen within the same day, like if I leave and come back in an hour, I'm still logged in. But when I come back the next day, I'm logged out.
Also, I noticed in my address bar up top, there is an icon that says "Install SON Community" prompting me to install the app. I haven't done so because I mostly visit on my laptop so I'm not sure of the necessity of that for me? I do sometimes check in on my phone...would that cause me to get logged out on the laptop?

No, I'm just kind of dealing with it since none of the fixes seemed to apply to me. I also noticed something I hadn't noticed before. When I arrive to the board's main page, it shows me as not logged in. But if I click to a topic from there, suddenly I'm logged in.

I’m getting perpetually logged out as well

With what browser? When was the last time you updated said browser? Meaning, is it current? What specific issue is occurring as you encounter this problem? Are you able to log in with a different browser? Is your computer receiving active updates from its developer (e.g., macOS, Windows, Linux)? What time of day do you encounter this issue, and does it happen only on certain occasions? Please provide some information.

It happens almost every time I visit the site. It used to keep me logged in but now it doesn’t. I just use Safari on my iPhone. I’m not sure what others use who are encountering the issue. I will try clearing my cookies and cache and see if that helps.

I'm not that good with computers but it happens all the time on my computer (Edge) and on my phone (safari). It's no big deal.

The only browser that still doesn't ever log me out is Opera.

Safari holds onto Cache or Cookie data even when it's been cleared a long time ago. I had an issue where the main website used dark mode, but even though I turned it off a while back, Safari on iPhone would still show me the dark version all day/every day. I ended up having to clear the data by going to Settings --> Apps --> Safari and scrolling until I saw Clear History and Website Data under the History and Website Data section. It cleared the problem, and I even restarted the phone to make sure. Haven't had the issue since. Mind you, this was the main website (https://www.soapoperanetwork.com) and not necessarily related to this issue you are referencing, but it might help.

If you go to the site in Incognito, regardless of whether it is Chrome, Edge or Firefox (as examples), do you encounter any issues? I know you've previously indicated you cleared your cookies/deleted data, but if it works in Incognito, then it might not have fully cleared in your other browsers. Based on today's experience with the bad request and forbidden messages, which were due to cookies being retained longer than they were supposed to, it's possible that was the issue.
