GH: May 2026 Discussion Thread

What a great Friday cliffhanger!

LOL at the temper tantrum that both Valentin and Carly had after their fight. Good camerawork. I can't wait to see Carly get herself out of this on Monday.

I enjoyed today - it brought characters together that you normally don't see interact. Like Cody and BLQ - didn't realize they were good friends.

Also unpopular opinion, but I like Joss a lot and I really enjoyed her catching onto Cassius today. Bringing up a Maxie memory that he clearly didn't remember... but he's onto her now and that was a good cliffhanger. I'm curious how they plan to keep Cassius just good enough to where he can stay on the canvas.

I think the character would come alive if a different actress took on the role, much like the miracle that happened to Michael when Rory Gibson came on. But if GH insists on making her Sydney Bristow, at least she's tripping up Nathan. But it is weird that Joss would tell Jack that Carly's cheating. She would never do that. It would make more sense if Jack used his spy senses to pick up on what's going on.

Valentin and Carly are cute together. The show got me! This is the most I've enjoyed Carly in a very long time. The writing for her is much better and she doesn't eat up the show anymore.

Joss needs a long break for a couple years and I think both Eden and the show are increasingly over it. I would bring her back as a scheming comic socialite, having 180'ed her life after this hellacious experience.

I haven't seen today yet but I've said it before and I'll say it again: LW and JPS have serious chemistry, and are both old daytime pros who know how to bring the kind of sexual heat and nuance in performance and dialogue that FV's GH is not generally known for. The problem for me here is and always will be Valentin the character, a weepy creep who looks and behaves like he should be sitting down with Chris Hansen on To Catch a Predator. It's too bad because they are working very hard.

They are doubling down with the Joss WSB stuff. If they slowly moved away from it, I think Joss would have been okay.

I believe the FV/writers/whoever thinks if Joss cracks the case about Fathan, Anna, whatever it will save her. I don't think it's going to work.

I don't either. I also don't think it can possibly happen this soon, so I think Joss is in for a rougher time. Hence, send her off for a few years to recover from whatever is coming down.

LOL! I've only been watching since September, but if I had more of the background/history like y'all, maybe I'd think differently. I think Eden is a great actress and really was impressed with her scenes a few weeks ago when she discovered Valentin. I also found it odd though that she ratted out her mom to Brennan.

They really do. Today showed more of that and like @CrazySexyQ , the show got me! I'm into this pairing.

It would be so simple to write her off too. She's had like 10 lifetimes of traumas at 22, so she could easily just leave and go live with Jax or something for a few years.

We could've had Cam and Trina at one point. But no, the show just had to sacrifice him for Joss and her smug self didn't even feel bad for cheating.
