Michael Roark, Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless

Michael Roark, who made his “Days of our Lives” debut in October 2025 as Jeremy Horton, is set to exit the daytime drama series on Wednesday, April 29.

While details on what leads to his exit have not been announced, fans can at least look forward to seeing his character continuing to interact with the Hortons and his ex, Abigail Johnson (Stephanie Klein), among others.

Before arriving in Salem, soap fans might remember Roark for his role as Travis Crawford on “The Young and the Restless” in 2016, where he was romantically involved with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), whom he met after she began frequenting his bar, Hank’s Dive Bar. He later became an employee of Newman Enterprises, though the job didn’t last after several of his lies became public.

Other credits for Roark include appearances in episodes of such shows as “9-1-1” and “NCIS: Los Angeles,” as well as a starring role playing Colton Donavan in the Passionflix original series “Driven,” which also featured “Days of our Lives” star Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan) and alum Casey Diedrick (ex-Chad DiMera). The series ran for just three seasons and produced 16 episodes.

More recently, Roark starred in the Passionflix original “The Black Dagger Brotherhood.” The six-episode series is based on the paranormal romance books by author J. R. Ward.

I truly believe DAYS is making a mistake letting Michael Roark leave. He's not a bad actor and he's also not bad to look at. But nonetheless, what really was the point bringing the character back??? We have two months left to find out, I guess 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Such a waste of a talented actor who easily fit right in and had great chemistry with a lot of the other characters. Not to mention...handsome. But, hey, I'm sure we'll get lots more Kristen, Leo, etc etc. :(

The biggest problem that has been created with these numerous upcoming cast changes is that it's made the show feel like it's in another transition year when 2026 should be the show stabilizing and going from strength to strength. Knowing that by the winter, a quarter of the cast will be different after these writers have been at the helm almost a year already is absolutely insane. Everything is practically a huge waste of time.

Michael Roark is actually a good actor, his character is part of the show's premiere family, and his Jeremy could go in many directions. And he even resembles Roark Critchlow's Mike Horton.

So, of course, let's cut him and keep boring Alex.

And this show wonders why viewers don't stick around.

I think it's obvious why Jeremy was brought on. To be a red herring/obstacle to the boring, snoozeworthy Stephanie/Alex pairing. Just a straw man, instead of exploring Jeremy in his own right.
