It depends on what you mean by "leaving".
Many of the current female cast members have taken maternity leave once (and some even twice), but they never officially left the show (Nina Ensmann, Chryssanthi Kavazi, Olivia Marei, Anne Menden, Eva Mona Rodekirchen, Maria Wedig).
Others took extended breaks – like three to six months – while remaining under contract the entire time (Niklas Osterloh, Jörn Schlönvoigt, and several others).
Some actors also started out in recurring roles, left the show for a while, and later returned as regular cast members (Ulrike Frank, Patrick Heinrich, Lars Pape, Charlott Reschke, Lara Dandelion Seibert).
The only current cast members who officially left (i.e., did not renew their contracts) and then returned a year later are Felix von Jascheroff (John) in 2015 and Eva Mona Rodekirchen (Maren) in 2023.
