We all know what we'd like to see happen to our favorite soaps in the coming year, but what do we think will actually happen?

Take this as seriously (or non-seriously) as you'd like!

(And thank you, @Melroser , for inspiring this post).

I was honestly surprised no one had started a predictions thread yet. 😊I just thought I'd do a slightly different take. Both can be fun.

Predictions:

Days will get to 13 months ahead with taping.

CBS will get tired of B&B beating it's signature show Y&R in demos and finally force changes. Good or bad. But changes will happen. One of which will be cast cuts.

A new soap will come to the internet even if only 15 minute eps. (okay...okay...maybe that's a hope. lol)

BTG will win all but one Emmy (lead actor) in the 2026.

GH will have noticed Jack Wagner's return to B&B and get him for a short stint as Frisco during his Hallmark break. Also write him as poorly as Nick was written.

By next Christmas, B&B will have another character that is "dying" only to be revived miraculously to move into 2027.
