Phew. I thought they'd come back for real rather than as hallucinations.

I do think they will bring Esme back for real once they recast Spencer though.

She makes a good villain I wouldn't mind seeing back sometime, but I think fortunately the window for trying to redeem her or put her with Spencer as an alternative to the dreaded Trina has long since past. I just rolled my eyes at CVE jumping at the chance.

What an exciting episode - this soap really keeps me wanting to see the next episode. I had to research who Esme was, hopefully that was a fun surprise for fans.

I just had a huge jump scare over Cyrus and Esme and am so worried they both will be for real back. I get such Nelle feelings from Esme, so even if Pohl is talented, I think she will keep coming back and back until any goodwill on my end has run out.

Incidentally, I like how they have Rip Van Nathan in the room going over this Drew case when he barely knows who these people are and has been in a mystery coma for almost a decade. Does Nathan even know who the president is? I mean, not that it's changed.

No, I agree. It's what they would have done had the writers not been fired, Chavez not left and things not been overall interrupted.

It’s literally insane how Nathan has just come back, no memory of the 10 years he was dead, and everyone is just like cool bro. It doesn’t even seem like he cares about getting his memories back.
