Have charges been filed against Li? Has she lost her hospital privileges? Had her medical license suspended? What she did is not some minor, random act. I'm sure it was common knowledge she did the same thing for Finn. It's a disturbing pattern.

They sure were quick to hold Grace accountable. I guess Li gets a free pass because Brad can't be bothered.

Li has some serious anger issues (strangling Poppy, jabbing Jack) as well as numerous ethical violations. Maybe that's why she and Sheila have bonded!

Meh. Skye was a grown ass woman when she was adopted by Alan after Rae still couldn't figure out who her father was. I don't think we even know now. It was more of an ABC/JFP experiment than a true Q tie and it was retconned shortly after.
Emily was a child who lost her single mom to cancer and both Monica and Alan adopted her as a young girl, willingly.
They are two very different scenarios.
Skye couldn't have cared less about Monica but would be quoted as saying things like, "lol, we know how Grandfather is and so on..." Do you Skye, really?
Everyone to this day considers Emily a Q while no one ever even mentions Skye. Hoping she found out Adam was her real dad off screen or something.
Sorry, I have a lot of pent up Skye hate lol

Most likely, Holly would have been used in a way where Ed was spending time with Holly and Blake for purely innocent reasons.. and Rita's insecurity would have driven her to be with Alan. That whole element did play out in the late 80s/early 90s between Ed/Maureen/Holly
I had read weekly synopsis of this period, and the only thing I could have seen her doing in 1981 was being somewhat involved in the whole Andy Norris situation since he was her brother and probably in conflict with their mother Barbara because Barbara would be blind to Andy and his true nature.
And there were some interactions in the weekly synopsis between her and Joe Bradley so I imagine perhaps she would have been occupied with that while the whole Ed/Hope/Rita/Alan story was going on in 1981

I don't know if I want to even open this box, but how was Skye no longer a Chandler?? I vaguely remember Rae Cummings (blah) and she was revealed to be her mother, but I can't remember the Adam Chandler side of this story. Did they just change that history, say he wasn't her father, and Alan was?

Chase has always been a hothead to me, and fixed on damsels in distress
I liked Skye with the Q family, but I can’t really compare those situations. Skye as a Q was born from a deception or misunderstanding onscreen, and was well into adulthood, her thirties, when this was revealed and then undone. Emily was adopted as a pre-teen and raised from that point as Alan and Monica’s daughter.
Had the show not killed off Alan, and perpetuated that familial tie with them, maybe I could see it. But that didn’t really happen, and Monica and Tracy sure didn’t act that way. Maybe somewhat with Edward, but the real love and warmth came from Alan.

Nobody can deny that what went on with Loni Anderson and Delta Burke at that time was more than just issues at work or solely their faults. The media eviscerated Delta for gaining weight, and she herself was struggling with so much emotional damage that the show didn’t understand or care to at the time. The fact that all those women were able to reunite and talk about it publicly and privately, including Linda Bloodworth makes me think it was legitimate mental illness and they have all said they could have handled it better. The tabloid media was at the peak of their powers in the early 90’s as far as influence.
If Loni Anderson had to fight back because of the stuff Burt Reynolds was saying then so be it. He is a terrible arbiter of the truth, and has an incredible ego that never got checked. All the way up to being a pain in the ass making Boogie Nights, fighting the whole way and hating the material to end up Oscar nominated and be pissed he didn’t win. As others have said Loni was great as Jennifer because the whole point was she was not a bimbo. She walked that line with just the right amount of warmth and sarcasm. Nothing else really got how to use her correctly, and I am sure she made poor decisions too.
It was truly gross during those days with women celebs (not that it’s all that great now either, just different). Look at any Barbara Walters interviews with almost any famous woman.

Let's face it, that's something Marland would not have been at all interested in writing. I bet if she had stayed, he wouldn't have even used her much in the upcoming Ed/Rita/Alan/Hope mess. He probably still would have preferred to have Ed with Vanessa, a character he created. She was wise to go when she did.
