I was thinking Shanelle Workman but I think that's pre-Frank.

She's not, but we'll never see her again lol. Not a big enough name for him either.

Krista Allen! That's who it might be.

It's my least favorite Sonny trope.  Women that would jeopardize the careers they built their entire lives on just for the chance to sleep with him.  Even in the 90's Sonny wasn't that charming.  That's why I wish the show would keep him with women like Carly, Ava, Nina, etc.  Woman that have some moral ambiguity.

Exactly!!! I'm still surprised they haven't had Sonny circle back to Nina yet given they had chemistry.

Willow seems the most likely Drew shooter at this point.

Yeah, so far given what has been on screen and what has been said, I still think it's Willow as well. Kate McM is also still playing her as if she is going to unravel at any second and does not at all feel excited to even get back with Drew except for leverage. The 'love' is gone with those two.

I actually could see KA having chemistry with MB.  Don't kill me lol.

Same it seems like the obvious thing to do instead of trying to create a rando pairing with Sidwell's wife, but that's probably Frank's doing.  Make DA a thing.

I feel that way as well. Even PM seem to be teasing a return there in the middle of the Drew/Nina hate sex stuff, too. It seems so obvious and inroads have been made in the last few years where it would make more sense...even from a drama perspective...than Little Ms. DA.

Frank just needs to learn that no matter how many times he brings back a fave of his in a second/third role tries, he can't make fetch happen.

Not at all. I think Krista Allen would kill it just like she did a successful job as a recast Taylor on B&B. I believe she's second (to my knowledge) only to Rory Gibson in the recently 'The Audience Accepts Recast Instantly' department.

Alexa Havins as Lulu?

But I think Krista is good.  She's just had tough shoes to fill everywhere.  Building her own character would be great to see for her.

I knew I was forgetting someone recent. Thank you. Sorry, Alexa.

She did have tough shoes with Lisa Rinna (yes, HW fans I actually said her name. ;) ), but I loved they took Billie in a different direction BITD. With Taylor, they did everything right with how to deal with a recast, and Krista took those things that are typical Taylor and made them into her own. There's a reason why people are not cottoning to Rebecca Budig in the role (I call her Taylee). Bonus...if I'm not mistaken...she did get nominated (and win?) for that role...not that awards meet too much these days.

That said...I would love for her to come on and build her own character. Can you tell I'm a fan? :)

I don't think Mulcahey was teasing Sonny and Nina at all. They had next to zero interaction if not zero. It was very abrupt, lol. Whereas Drew and Nina (and Willow) was being built.

I don't care about Sonny and Nina at all and it's never made much sense to me but it would at least be more watchable than Sidwell's wife.

I always felt JER made KA's Billie sluttier and sexier than was necessary, but that's for another thread.  Billie became more a victim with soft core torture porn on Days.  She was writhing around on a bed, heavily pregnant in real life, coming off heroin for weeks.  It was a lot.

I have only seen a handful of scenes of her as Taylor and I am not a real watcher of B&B

I still think she has enough spark to play off a half comatose Mo at this point though lol.  As long as she's not a cop, DA, FBI agent, etc, etc.

PM was definitely teasing Ava/Sonny more.

I have never thought Nina/Sonny were entirely off the table, but the writing hasn't given us much.

I'd be glad to see Krista on soaps again so this probably is what would happen.

I've seen Van Hansis put in that category too, by some fans. I don't think it's entirely true, but I do appreciate that he works very hard and brings a lot of drama to every moment.

Van is not in that department. I do think he is working hard though and has done fairly well, and it helps that they hired a hot guy for him (even if I wonder if ol' Marco is doomed, as he's now complicit in Baldo's murders). The intimacy level and overall authenticity of his playing a gay man - even if Carnes presented a different side - helps a lot.
