I know that they're still listed in the credits, but I wonder if Thomas and RJ really are still on contract at this point...sort of how Paris was listed for months with zero appearances.

I doubt it…it’s a shame. RJs point of view of this whole Takeover thing should be needed but once again we have to pretend he doesn’t exist in favor of Ridges kids with Taylor…

His absence is glaring in all this. But having him there would deprive Steffy the opportunity to make this all about Forrester vs Logan, and we can't have that, can we.....

exactly! It’s a very important beat that’s not being played. If they weren’t so obsessed with them writing Steffy as the one who was “done wrong” completely washing all her past mistakes and sins away, we could have gotten Rj calling her out on everything! Like everytime she goes on her “Logan’s are bad” tirade he should point out: “you attack my mom and her family, you’re also attacking me!” And of course the godawful parent trapping Steffy continues to do with Ridge and Taylor…again RJ should point out how pathetic his older sister is for being so obsessed with getting her parents back together and RJ should be furious with Ridge! But of course we get none of that!

Steffy's past mistakes are not washed away but Hope's sure are. Got Liam out there saying "Hope would never do that" regarding Hope kissing Finn, knowing she did exactly that with Thomas by cheating on him

 

RJ is useless, they should just retcon and make him Nick's, he has never served a purpose

Steffy brings up Hope's mistakes every chance she gets, and when she's not doing that she's making digs at Brooke, all the while her own past is never thrown in her face.

It makes me mad that Steffy is never present when her past is brought up like when Hope told off Ridge the other week.

The writing is so slanted in Steffy's direction it's frustrating.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that RJ and Thomas are not involved with this Forrester takeover story. RJ should be all over this. And Thomas could be a thorn in Carter & Hope's "romance" and a player in the takeover. Having Dapnee Rose is doing nothing for me other than causing frustration for the stupidity of it all.
