I think they brought Casey back as a different character and then he was tested with Anna and Felicia?. I can't remember if he was another swept out by Monty or if he had already gone by that point. They implied at the end of Casey's story that he would be back, didn't they? So IIRC Casey went back to his planet Lumina and Shep showed up the same day or the next day. I think Shep was also involved with Tiffany and Decker so I am not sure if Shep was supposed to be Casey. I think someone (maybe Monty) just ditched the whole plot and he quietly disappeared. Yeah, I admit I had this huge crush on Bradley Lockerman (Casey) at the time.
