I love that the family is grappling with the consequences of Dani's violence. It adds a realistic touch. Other soaps wouldn't even bother. They would just show a slap/punch and move on.

Martin says that some people deserve a punch to the face, but at the country club he was the family member who seemed the most embarrassed by Dani's outburst. He is a two-faced politician.

This episode is even better than episode 1! F-ck, this is GOOD.

I love the close ups of Nicole and Ted in their house. So often US soaps will not move the cameras beyond the fourth wall.

Ms. Tunie is amazing here and this is proof why she was needed to lead this ensemble:

So far, am enjoying Day 2 a lot. Really loving the relationship between Nicole and her husband. (Again, it’ll take me a while to learn all the names. It’s just me.)

I feel like the actress playing Hayley is trying too hard to make us (and the other characters) not hate her. And it might be working on me.

Agree that the hospital set looks better . Am interested to learn more about these new characters who arrived

The lighting is so much better in this episode. LIKE SOOO MUCH BETTER. And the background music is even more rich and on point. I felt like we needed moooore background music especially with the young actors in episode 1 and this second episode is delivering. 

I am really IN AWE. Even the hospital looks okayish today.
