No Anne Schoettle for GH again.  Looks like she only lasted a cycle.  I'd say just demote Korte back to Script Editor.  LOL

I didn't see anyone besides EK/CVE .. Lepard ... Cedelia & then the director

It made me laugh earlier, I was thinking about telling people: If you're gonna leave, just go, No need to announce it. This is not an airport!!!

Just looked at tomorrow's Y&R and although he YouTube feed is distorted, it appears as if Marin Gazzaniga's name was gone. I think it was: Josh then Jeff/Marla then Amanda Beall .

Looks like Megan Titus has been under contract as Days script writer since June 2024. I would imagine her name will start appearing in credits. I wonder if they dropped Dan O'Connor before he started. He mentioned last April I believe that he had joined the team. Perhaps, they dropped him when they fired Ron.

So just a demotion+new position, instead of demotion+fired.

Is her name in the everyday credits, or is she still just being listed whenever she wrote an episode?

Thus far, Megan has only written two freelance scripts that have aired (Nov 29 and Dec 30) but I assume at some point she'll be listed in the contract credits every day. Perhaps, she'll remain freelance and do occasional scripts?  We will see.  But big changes to the writing team with Ron, Dave, Chris, Sonja out and we know Paula and Rick coming back along with Cohen returning.

    • Yes and I also loved how she focused on Chelsea and Naomi when she spilled Bill's involvement in all of this.
    • Danny: Don't drink it. Just hold it. Rocco drinks three laced cups.

    • OH, I AM.   And it looks like it's a pretty good episode so I might watch later on this weekend after work cuz I see a lot of scenes with people I actually like. Very happy to see Rocco/Danny appear to be getting story, too.
    • I do agree that a revival of EON would work, if it doesn't fall into doing all of the typical soap opera tropes... which it became guilty of in the final few years of the show with the over abundance of Raven/Sky at the expense of the actual detectives, police, etc. And I know it was mentioned earlier that Raven had lost any true connections on the show with the death of her on screen mother, and the loss of April/Draper/Deborah.. and I do agree with that. I actually thought the show would have done something with the Shelley character that could have connected her to the Raven character.  There were a few scenes where the two would have scenes and size one another up before they would go their separate ways.. so I assumed perhaps they would have been revealed as half-siblings and/or perhaps cousins.  Alas.. not to be.
    • It definitely flowed beautifully. So much that I was annoyed when Vanessa/Doug because I wanted to get back to the party. I know it was intentional to build up tension and suspense. It worked. lol. I'm glad it was there in hingsight because it gave us that great conversation between Doug and Vanessa. Foreshadowing? And yesss!!! This episode was sooo old school soap giving beat after beat after beat leading up to the unveiling of Eva as Ted's daughter. And we still have plenty of fallout/aftereffects to work through.   Speaking of...Bill, Bill, Bill lol. Good to have confirmation HE was the scary lawyer.   I'm sure I will have a busy Monday, but I can't wait for it. I don't know what I'm looking forward to more. Probably Anita vs Silk Press Sheila tbh. And yes, I feel they will be matching each other 'blow for blow.'
    • And if they go there, it could also be tied to Johnny completely cutting him off, possibly going to work for Titan, etc.
    • @AbcNbc247 maybe it is just that they've gone to that well too often, and I don't like when DAYS goes dark, but I'm OK with EJ abusing drugs, and just skipping the whole sobriety part. Side note: experiencing hallucinations of my son killing me would be enough for me to never want to take a pill again.

    • Part of the reason that Courtney worked at OLTL was because the show had an actual character for her to play.  One that was somewhat different than her character on AW, and after the way she was treated over at AW.. it had to have been nice to be courted onto a new soap that actually valued your contributions.
    • I figured the "long" was already implied
