HA! It's insane.

You've got KKL, JMW, HT, AN, KB, SK and DD. Those 7 actors/characters can anchor endless intriguing long-running stories.

I can't understand why B&B keeps doing the throw it against the wall stuff: if it stick, it's around for 3 months max; if it doesn't it's wiped out in a month.

Ridiculous for a 38-year old show that has plenty of history to mine + fashion/beauty + LA as a backdrop.

I feel like they are going to try and undo Luna killing Tom and Hollis...maybe saying her split personality did it, etc. Otherwise, how is there any long-term story for her? The character should never have been written into such a corner to begin with.

Definitely being undone. It'll be something like she was being drugged - like GHB - so she was controlled by some random person who'll suddenly appear on the screen. Probably one of Poppy's *random* men who became obsessed with Luna or whatever. Look at how they used Lunacy's actions to undo the ill-conceived Zende mess despite what they showed  on air for weeks.

Just like Sheila illogically shooting Steffy + Finn over spiked champagne, so many of these stories should've never gone past the 'what if' stage. B&B desperately needs manipulators not murderers to move the story forward.

I don't know what Bradley has against having Ted King around full time. Dude won an Emmy just being a guest star

Uh no, the most boring [!@#$%^&*] character's on the show, except Steffy. Sheila ruined Deacon to the point I wish he was dead.

DD is checked out for the most part, AN over acts too much, KB is awful. I just rewatched the shootings from 2022 and OMG she was horrible. She tried way too hard to emote

Heather Tom is a gem, but Katie is just a Brooke & Hope prop, mainly Brooke's doormat

TBH I'd rather see Jacqui, Naomi, Romy, Lisa, Tanner, Thorsten, Rebecca and  bring back Ted King

Ted and Naomi are GOLD together, Jack/Li could be the leading older character's for this show. Jack/Li have amazing chemistry together.

I'll be honest, the Logan's are driving this show to the pits of hell(along with Bradley's [!@#$%^&*] writing). Any of them could leave and I doubt many would shed tears

It's clear Brad's never going to see Brooke as anything but an appendage of Ridge. Donna serves no purpose, nor does Katie.

Brooke is useless without Stephanie

It's become obvious it isn't Jack. Of course Bradley could consider Jack as the father as shocking.... even though we suspected it from the beginning. I doubt anyone cares anymore. My bet is Finn being the father.

    • My favorite moment in SOAPDISH is the HW taking the star to the mall in NJ to improve "morale"!!
    • Oh no! The shoulder pads! I will mourn them when they're gone. Please tell me the head pieces and hats remained!?
    • Shout! TV has now added season 26. Not sure what the reasoning for that was, but maybe it was the one that was ready to go...
    • It's AWFULLY hard to tell.  But out of the (approximately) 16 weeks so far in 2025, Bryton has only had about 12 episodes.  That's significantly less than 1 per week.  Once the actor drops down to less than 1 per week for an extended period of time (such as a 39-week cycle), I start thinking there's no contract in place for him or her.  Surely these folks aren't tying themselves down to a show for a guarantee of 1 or 2 episodes a month.   If I counted right, Bryton has had 21 episodes in the past 24 weeks.  They're either (a) about to kick into high-gear & work his ass off to meet his minimum guaranteed appearances, or else (b) he ain't got a contract that guarantees him squat.
    • These contract guarantees of 1 ep per month are ridiculous. How can you even have a story if your character apprars 4-5 times in a month? It's sad.
    • It's hard to tell with some actors appearing on average 4 times in a month whether they're recurring or just on a low guarantee contract. Someone recurring  like Beth Maitland can be used a lot for several months then disappear. So the monthly tallies aren't enough to go by.
    • Of the so-called "contract" cast members, I'd venture to say these are recurring: Bryton James, Camryn Grimes, and (possibly) Michael Graziadei.  I've suspected since 2018 that Kate Linder and Christian LeBlanc are recurring.  And I believe we all know Miss Ordway is, because she said so. lol.
    • Dante blaming Gio instead of his dweeb son and the other dweeb was just ridiculous. Gio's paternity story is going in circles with no reveal. I've already started fast forwarding Drew and his stupid ho Willow's story. Kristina's story is beyond dumb with no great payoff.
    • Sarah (with the English accent) isn't just some random character.  Sarah was once the housekeeper for Eliot Dorn and Margo Huntington.  One of the following 2 scenarios happened a few months ago: (1):  One night, while Margo wasn't at home, and while Oscar the Doorman wasn't at his post, a burglar sneaked into the private elevator, rode up to the penthouse, stole several thousand dollars worth of Margo's valuable diamonds and pearls, and tied-up Eliot Dorn and Sarah the Housekeeper, ensuring that Eliot and Sarah couldn't pursue the burglar back down to the lobby or phone the police to apprehend the burglar. OR --  (2): Eliot Dorn was SLEEPING with Sarah the Housekeeper, and the two of them conspired to steal Margo's jewelry and went on a lavish spending spree and then tied THEMSELVES up to make it look as though a burglary had occurred in the penthouse. Margo Dorn currently believes Scenario #1 occurred, and she's rather annoyed that the "incompetent police" haven't located her stolen jewels yet.  Eliot and Sarah know that Scenario #2 actually occurred.  When Sarah stopped by the Unicorn and saw Eliot kissing Raven Swift, Sarah snidely said, "Oh! This must be Mrs. Dorn!  Nice to meet you, Mrs. Dorn!" Sarah knew good & damn well Raven isn't "Mrs. Dorn" because Sarah worked for Margo Dorn on a daily basis for many months.  That was Sarah's not-so-subtle way of announcing, "I'll be paying a visit to District Attorney Logan Swift and letting him know that his wife is sleeping with you, and I'll be paying a visit to WMON to let Margo Huntington know that you're sleeping with Mrs. Swift!"  lol.
    • The AMC hate came from Jamey Giddens/DC and their industry friends, IMO. For whatever reason I always felt they targeted the show, and it was wrong. AMC ratings were decent and even went up under Pratt (Yet, he was fired). The ratings were also good under Broderick and lowered out after her interim.  There was no reason to be upset with the show other than it being slow. They literally played it safe and did the best they could in 2010 and 2011.
