During the week of November 18-22, 2024, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” came out on top among soaps, topping “The Young and the Restless” among unrounded Women 18-49 (0.27 rating vs. 0.26 rating), marking the fourth time this season the half-hour soap has tied or beaten its lead-in in the key sales demographic. 

“The Bold and the Beautiful” tied its season high among Women 18-49 for the second consecutive week, and hit a new season high among Women 25-54 with a 0.41 rating. “The Young and the Restless,” however, prevailed in the demo, topping both its lead-out and “General Hospital.”

Speaking of “General Hospital,” the ABC daytime drama series was down week-to-week among both Women 18-49 (0.21 rating vs. 0.22 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.31 rating vs. 0.32 rating). Meanwhile, “The View” saw week-to-week increases in both key demos, up +0.01 in Women 18-49 (0.21 rating vs. 0.20 rating) and up +0.01 in Women 25-54 (0.32 rating vs. 0.31 rating).

With just weeks to go before signing off for the final time, “The Talk” tied its season high among Women 18-49 for the third consecutive week (0.17 rating), marking the fourth time this season it has hit a 0.17 rating in the key demo. The talk show is virtually on par with its year ago performance in both Women 18-49 (0.17 rating vs 0.18 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.25 rating).

The first half-hour of “The Price is Right” tied its season low among both Women 18-49 (0.30 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.46 rating). “TODAY 3rd Hour” also tied its season low among Women 25-54 (0.40 rating).

Wow!!! Go B&B. As infuriating as the show can be, I'm happy for them. The past couple of weeks have been decent.

Considering how bad it's been that's not hard to accomplish.

I'm still surprised they are holding steady. I did enjoy Brooke blabbing all. The rest of the show still stinks.

CBS looking smart for not moving B&B to 2:30 next year.

The Talk being the steadiest show in daytime is interesting. Probably can be chalked up to avoiding politics (I assume still) and all the non-right wing news/opinion shows have seen their ratings tank post-election. Curious if The Gates team got a memo to cut down the political storylines.
