My main point was about the three sisters collectively but Lulu waking up immediately disrupts Sam and Dante’s insta family and the right team could play angst out of that triangle for at least a year or two. There was a lot of meat left on Sam’s dynamic with Jason and not wanting him around Danny that the show stupidly refused to cook much with as well, she also should have been more involved in the Drew running for office and fooling with Nina and Willow storyline. Way too many natural placements in current material that the show minimized just because they wanted KeMo out.

You can and I’d still rather watch Sam. Seeing all the Davis girls together one last time Alexis would just make for the more interesting piece of the dynamic to lose IMO.

I really hope its not a temporary fake out but yes it seems like its happening. I just saw Rebecca Budig and Michael Easton reunited with the actress recently too so maybe they wanted to surprise her for her goodbye

First of all...Ric...YOU...BETTA...READ!!!!!!!! While Kristina got some good licks in, Ric dragged her every which way, but loose. And watching him with Ava...it hit me! Am I about to get a new soap scheme team? I'm torn, but YES, PLEASE. And this was all part of Ric's case for Ava to get Kristina to look unstable...perfection!!!

It was also great to see Alexis out and about and walking. And is the TJ actor currently filming something else cuz those earrings are new. Oh and thank you, cameraman.

That said...so...they did it. Sasha IS Robert's daughter? Robert Scorpio? Hmmm...honestly, I'm LIVID from what I said yesterday. They been around each other for 6 years and now THIS pops out. And to add salt to the wound...those New/Old Writers were doing the two things I loathe in their writing...the 'wacka wacka look at me' humor with lame quip of it all for one. And the other is the Lloyd Gold writing stuff of dragging out the reveal in the 'just spit it out already' dialogue as if it creates build when there are much better ways to do it. And the David Vickers reference just sent me over the edge. I will always love OLTL, but FV LET...IT...GO.  I can't even think about the cool possibilities cuz I hated the reveal.

I also mentioned how I love seeing Dante and Sam in a blended family. So it was nice to see that all on display in this episode. And then that coda with Lulu was haunting.

I will be watching Friday later on tonight to see if I was right about the cliffhanger.

Tracy deserves a love interest. It's too bad Robert looks so unhealthy and Scott is such a buffon, as either of those pairings might have been interesting at one time or another. Since they probably won't bring someone new on just for Tracy, maybe Cody is the best option?  It could be interesting..

Not one of the cliffhangers that I was expecting, but given how the episode played out...it seems like I was a week off.

If anything, I felt like The Sasha mess took away from the episode regardless of the fact that I liked it this go-around.

I know people feel a way about how things with the forthcoming death is coming. As if enough of the beats are not being played. Hmmm perhaps. I personally feel they are being played too scattered. Cuz there was that scene with Jason a week or so ago that felt final. The blended family scenes Thursday. And now...this Davis girls scene.  All of which were great except that Molly is overdue to slap Kristina at this point for saying the wrong baby name. And I definitely went uh oh when Sam stormed out rather than watch another round of Molly vs Kristina. A bad note to end on.

Awww now THAT was the chemistry I was waiting for in a non-fantasy between Lucky and Liz. A little bit of her feisty side even came out. And JJ was looking like a snack, too. Bonus!

The only reason I care about the Violet storyline was really down to AS's acting. When she said she needed a minute and left Violet's room, I felt that. So good Ned and Lois (with her accent yay) were there for her. And of course, Chase. PS. THANK YOU, cameraman.

I LOVED how Maxie was shady as if to represent the audience in terms of Holly/Robert/Sasha. And KS was looking GOOD. That said...THIS is what I was expecting with this revelation. Not the wacka wacka comedy quippy style of the writing. But something more grounded with small humor found in the actual moments. Seeing that the drama, emotion, and even humor can be found when you play the scenes straight. If they have to be played at all. And since the New/Old Writers went there with Robert and Sasha, it should be played straight. They did. I was shocked. And I felt more invested for it. So loved the scenes with Holly, Felicia, and Maxie. Loved the scenes with Robert and Sasha who was NOT beating around the bush. I even like the little scene between Sasha and Maxie as Maxie tried to process it all. Due to this, I actually am looking forward to Mac and Cody's reactions. And Tracy's too since she clearly has no love for Holly.

I might have picked on them all week, but I can give credit where credit is due...it was a pretty decent week for the New/Old Writers.

Ohhh and clearly...the Lulu storyline has a manipulator in it with someone messing with her equipment. Is it the obvious Cyrus or someone else entirely? Rhetoric.

    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).

    • I did some research and the story wrapped up with Eric,a caretaker responsible for Georgina's death who then  tried to do away with Laurie but a vision of Georgina spooked him and he smashed into a mirror, dying of glass wounds. So there was a supernatural element. I wonder if the Brody character in the credits was Eric Brody?
